“The concept is excellent!
We were seated quickly even though we didn’t book a reservation ahead on a Friday night. Was so fun to try the different wines and enjoy the ambiance this unique experience has to offer. The only downside, we ordered aoli fries immediately upon being seated and sampled multiple wines about an hour in and the fries still had not arrived. Disappointed we had to ask for them to go, they were boxed up for us and removed from the bill. Good fries for sure but would have been even better eating them on location.“

“We always know we’ll have a wonderful time at Tannins. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service team is attentive and friendly, and the wine selection is exceptional. Their wine club is a fantastic value, offering great perks at a very reasonable price. Tannins is our go-to spot for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. Highly recommend!

“If you don’t know yet, Lombard has got it going on! And GL105 is an outstanding example of this quaint suburb. Expect high quality and comfortable casual dining; perfect place to meet up with friends.

The bartender knows how to mix and they have great taste in wines. Their creative menu will please a variety of tastes with tender smoked meats, tasty Asian dishes and other savory feasts. We hit up the short rib stroganoff, chicken fried rice bowl and pressed short ribs. Every bite was delicious (maybe the mashed potatoes weren’t quite at the same level.)

Hosts were a little stiff but the rest of the staff was very committed to making sure we had a great time and we did!“

“I have been here twice now, first time for drinks and apps and second time we threw a private event. This place is adorable, really cute vibes and welcoming atmosphere! Service is great we loved our party bartenders especially Jason who was on top of drinks and service all night during the party! We hosted about 40 people on a Friday night, did a buffet from their list of event menus. Food was great and I heard a lot of the guests complementing the food. The apps I had off of the regular menu were also really good! They have a great wine selection and other beer, seltzers and cocktails so there is something for everyone. Highly recommended for a night out, or private event!“

“There’s so many things I love about Barrel & Vine!! The food, of course! And the fact that everything is made to order, they have lots of gluten free options and they are all delicious! “Only complaint was that the dining room was noisy, so that it made conversation difficult. Most likely the result of a large crowd, with a 20 to 40 minute wait.

Vegetarian options: Depends on how strict a vegetarian. It is authentic Greek cuisine, so there are many seafood options. Strict vegetarians will be limited to roasted vegetables and hummus dishes, but they will try their best to accommodate.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free dishes are labeled on the menu, but I don't think this is a totally gluten free kitchen with separate prep and cooking areas.

Parking: Large self parking lot that can overflow into other parking areas.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with children dine here. Many options on a children's menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: Large dining area with good access to move around, including the washrooms. Very little floor transitions (bumps or steps) unless one is going to back private dining rooms.“

“We held our daughter's engagement party at Neat on Saturday night - and we were so very pleased. The staff was absolutely amazing, the room was beautiful and the food was delicious! I can’t thank their team enough!!“

“I would give this place 100 stars if able! I had to plan a rehearsal luncheon for my son's wedding in Joliet in mid May with only 2 months notice. Since we live in North Carolina, I had to do all the research online. Thank heaven I came across SixtyFour Reserve Room in a Google search. The manager, Andrew, contacted me right away and was so helpful in making suggestions for our event. Cheryl, the events manager, took over in finalizing all the arrangements. There are so many different options for appetizers, meal combinations, wine, cocktails and beer! Our guests were able to choose their favorites ahead of time. When we arrived on the day of the event, we were so delighted by the venue! Everything I had requested was in place, and Cheryl and our amazing server/bartender, Alex, immediately greeted us and made everyone feel welcome. The appetizers and meals were served efficiently and right on the timeline I had planned. The food was incredibly delicious with a pleasing presentation. Our guests had so much fun with the Wine Stations, and the whiskey lovers appreciated the variety of choices. Everyone raved about how much they enjoyed the food, drink and ambiance. Best of all, I was able to relax and enjoy our guests since all the work was done by Andrew, Cheryl, Alex and the kitchen staff. The cost was very reasonable, especially so close to Chicago. “Sometimes you walk into your spot wanting and expecting your usual bartender for all the usual reasons - they get you, know you, predict you. You can find that At BTB every time. Ashley is *the best* in the game. But give the whole staff a chance… there’s no disappointment at BTB! Marcus and the rest of the game will do right by you. A group wine tasting is an amazing idea for your next special event, but you can’t go wrong hanging out at this neighborhood gem any old day.“

They said whenever they asked Ricardo for something the only thing they heard was: No problem! OR… Whatever you need! And ALL of our guests complimented the food and most took home doggie bags. “Food and drinks are always delicious; Steve recognized me on my fifth visit, introduced himself and provided some complimentary shots to me and my partner. We have ordered Corn Paloma’s, Mole Pisco Sour and Aphrodite multiple times and always hits the spot. For constructive improvement, it can be slow to order as there’s only one person taking orders. Maybe one order only kiosk or one more person could make it more efficient as folks are waiting in line for 10 minutes. I also appreciate the family atmosphere, but there will be times screaming children are right in the middle of where patrons are dining and relaxing. I would recommend a specified area for the kids a bit further away from the main patrons but I understand the constraints of the space (might make more sense to have the kids play area near the food truck). Starting from the first day that we went to see The Elm we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had our ceremony in the Kensington room, and our reception in the Madison room. The atmosphere and vibe of both rooms was everything that we could hope for. The staff was incredible, the food/drinks were AMAZING, and our guests had nothing but positive feedback. “We visited Cooper's Hawk on a Friday night with a group of four, and the ambiance was spot-on for a relaxed fine dining experience. Although I’m not typically a wine enthusiast, I was pleasantly surprised to find a refreshing German Gewurztraminer served cold, which paired well with the meal. As a vegetarian, I found the options a bit limited but decided to try the Caprese flatbread; it was decent, though not particularly memorable.

The atmosphere itself was lovely, and it’s a great spot if you're looking to unwind with friends in an inviting, upscale setting. Our only hiccup was the service—it was a bit slow, but understandable given the busy Friday evening. “We go often but I must comment on how the hostess greets us every time we come in no matter how long it's been between visits. She is so happy to see us. She's such a joy. Then, of course, we get our favorite waitress, Tina, who is always smiling. And then there's the extra large piece of lasagna and chicken Caesar salad and don't get me started on the warm bread. I just wish we were younger when we used to be able to eat appetizers and desserts in addition to our meals instead of taking half our meal home :(“
