“We were pleasantly surprised with the house-made nachos, fries, and pork tenderloin sandwiches. The service was great, but the chairs were a little uncomfortable, and it got noisy around 6:30 on a Friday with a full house. We'll be back for an early dinner or brunch--the menu looks great--soon.”

I have been there for their birthday parties a little buffets with karaoke it was a blast and there is a pool table ..if you don't like 2 many people then this is your place ..”

“Hey misty i think you reviewed the wrong bar!! There are never and i mean never fights at R Place. This is a locals friendly bar with lots of friendly people and a friendly owner as well. I think you must have been reviewing the cave..that is the only bar in east dubuque even i stay away from. Google or someone needs to remove mistys post.”

“Just stopped for a casual beer, got insulted by 3 older gentlemen who say they are there every day. One says he is offended by a shirt some one is wearing at the bar. He wanted them to take it off. I informed him it is freedom of speech, We are in a bar. The shirt had the F- word on it. It got so bad that my wife was told she has no brain between her ears. My wife is a veteran of 2 different branches of the military. These guys were tyrants.I would stay away from this bar!”

“This was our second time eating here. We enjoyed our first time so much that we had to come back!!! First time we had the smash burgers and I’m not too fond of hamburgers but they were delicious!!! This time we had a Philly cheese sandwich and it was phenomenal!!! The owner and employees are amazing people!!!”

“We are from the suburbs of Chicago and this was our first time in Dubuque. It was a Friday night and we loved the artistic and rustic feel of the Mill district as we walked toward the restaurant. The restaurant is small but warm. Our server was spot on with her timing. Drinks were wonderfully crafted and the food was unique and delicious. The chef obviously takes pride in their selections of locally sourced fresh ingredients and presenting them with visually satisfying appeal. They tasted delicious as well albeit a touch on the salty side but that may be my personal aversion. Overall we really enjoyed our dinner and it put us in a great mood to enjoy the rest of our stay.”

“Excellent burgers, huge list of choices. I had the olive burger with Swiss cheese. Delish! Others had the BLT burger, steak sandwich, and steak salad. All were excellent. Service was delightful, very friendly. We arrived at end tail end of the lunch hour and our order was a bit slow in arriving, but food was hot, fresh, and good. Atmosphere is casual, light-hearted with an auto garage theme. Highly recommended!”

With short notice they got us set up in the back room, Melissa delivered perfect service, all 14 meals came out at once, all the food was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I've driven past this place a thousand times and never gave it a thought. Now I will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal and friendly staff. Thank you Rhody's.
