I don’t say this lightly, but Midway has one of the best smash burgers around. Perfectly crispy on the edges, juicy in the middle, and consistently great every time I’ve been there.

They’ve got a ton of beers on draft, there’s always a game on the TVs, and the atmosphere just feels like the neighborhood sports bar you actually want to hang out in.

One of the coolest things about the place is that the owner, Amir, is almost always there. He’s constantly walking around saying hi to guests, checking in on people, and making sure everyone is having a good time. That kind of hands-on ownership makes a huge difference, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the experience.

If you’re looking for a great burger, cold beer, and a place to watch the game, Midway is definitely worth checking out. It’s one of those spots that’s easy to keep coming back to.“

“While traveling to Chicago, I had an opportunity to visit Rookies Sports Bar & Grill. The service was very good and my waiter was very helpful with picking out some great dishes for us to try. From the fish to the ribs and salad. I have no complaints as everything was good. Cooked to perfection and the overall cost was reasonable. I look forward to another visit.“

“Benjamin Parada and I ate dinner at Wings Etc. tonight! We pulled up to the building and called the number listed clearly on the signs, with an employee's assistance our "take out" order was placed! Ben and I talked in the car just as we would have when we were inside the restaurant. However, sitting in the car and wearing a mask felt so much safer than being in the restaurant! Our food was out to our car very quickly. Wonderful delicious and amazing are words to describe the good wings! “Great chicken fingers!!! But if someone in charge could please fix the menu on DoorDash for the mozzarella sticks? It says it comes with marinara sauce, but then makes you select from a list of sauces and marinara is not a choice. So one time I just picked a different sauce and got that sauce and not the marinara and the other time I picked no sauce and didn’t get anything. So if marinara sauce could be added to the sauce selection so there’s no confusion that would be wonderful.“

“Very good meal and extremely attentive service. We had the 2 for $32 Bourbon street chicken and shrimp. It had a good flavor and the chicken was very tender. The carafe of Tito's strawberry lemonade was tasty and was a good value. I enjoyed the tomato basil soup as well.“

“I have no complaints regarding the food. We order from this location almost every week and have never had an issue. Today, when I walked in, the restaurant was extremely busy due to the Wild Card game, and the atmosphere was understandably tense. The kitchen staff appeared focused and working hard to get orders out.

During this time, a woman who came from the back to assist with phone orders and customer service did not appear to be wearing a name badge, and it was unclear whether she was an owner or an employee. Regardless of her role, the way she conducted herself was very unprofessional and made the situation uncomfortable for customers.

There was an apparent mistake involving an order that had been handed out incorrectly. One of the assistant managers, who was clearly working hard in the kitchen, was confronted and loudly blamed for the error. He calmly stated that both parties should have verified the order, yet she continued yelling and placed all the blame on him. This exchange took place in front of staff and customers, which was inappropriate and unacceptable.

If a mistake occurs, it should be addressed privately and respectfully. Yelling at an employee in front of others serves no purpose and shows a lack of professionalism and basic human decency.

To Tomas, the assistant manager: we are all human, and mistakes can happen, especially in high-pressure situations. No one deserves to be treated the way you were. You were clearly working hard, and I commend you for standing your ground. I hope this behavior is reported and addressed appropriately.

This incident made me very uncomfortable, and I truly hope steps are taken to ensure staff are treated with respect moving forward.“
