“Great atmosphere for a player to be able to relax and have a great time. The ladies to men ratio 3;1 the kitchen is open for appetizers while the music keeps you grooving with a fine mix of R&B Hip hop and Blues. The drinks are always happy hour prices. The whole decor and construction of the ultra-bar is a upscale scenario where as the price is not heavy on that wallet. Perfect balance the owner has pulled off. I highly recommend it. Im on my way back to take photos.“

“A little too small for me, but I always still find myself going there ... ? The food has been famous for years, if you are down for a challenge, go there and order the big mama burger , it is the most massive thing that I have ever encountered, and it's always good! The atmosphere around the bar side , is always a dope vibe, if you are looking for a nostalgic good time, I suggest you go and place a visit.“

“A cool little dive bar with pinball machines. On a Sunday night they seem to have some league whereby people play them all night so normal patrons can’t use them. It’s a pretty cool place though, and if you can find a night where you can play pinball or just listen to the jukebox, I’d definitely recommend it. Tiny chef is excellent also and they sell food at a window inside the bar.“

“As a person with Celiac visiting your town I felt so welcome and safe- and it was a huge treat to eat an entire plate of yummy fried goodness that was safely prepared for someone like me. I truly enjoy the lgbtq+/ all-inclusive atmosphere they provide. The music is always top notch, the staff is extremely friendly and quick to serve! They also have a super cute patio and open-air garage area, giving patrons a variety of areas to hang, dance or socialize. They also host some really unique, fun and exciting events that Ive thoroughly enjoyed attending or vending with my business. This Bar is definitely a hidden GEM in St. Louis!“

“When I say this place is a vibe.... baby it hits every time. Very very hard to get a waitress or a drink from the bar...I had to wait until others were at the table with me, as I didn't want to lose the table. “I knew the owners of this place. Rose and Tony. My grandma took me down there when I was two. She ran a run down apt complex right next to there. I can’t believe it is still there. Rose and Tony would come to my house for holidays. I will be visiting there soon. It was a nice little dive bar the last time I was there. I worked at the west and cafe. I think rose and Tony were still alive at that point. Like 30 years ago. Love them and I loved this little bar.“

“I’ve been coming to grizzly bear for years with friends and family. I love the atmosphere inside and outside. The historical building is absolutely gorgeous. Marie was mine and my sisters bartender and she was so sweet and attentive. Absolutely love her! 10/10 definitely recommend. The wings are delicious and I love playing darts in the front room. Never a dull moment at the grizzly bear.“
