“Went for dinner on a Sunday. Great food specials, quick service and cold beer. Almost all parties dinning had a kid with them so definitely a family friendly environment. Pizza is delicious!!“

“Doit's Village Inn. What can I say negative about this place. Absolutely nothing. I've been going into this bar for numerous years. And I've always been welcomed with a smile from the bar tender , too the kitchen cooks , to the customers. 5 stars for the food. 5 stars for The cook at Village inn, Mr gravy. One of the nicest men you will ever meet.. I met 2 gentlemen while shooting pool just 2 days ago. And shot pool with them and chatted for 4 hrs and enjoyed myself. I've made many of friends here. If you have never been here then you need to stop in, play there slots 5 stars, have some drinks 5 stars order some food 5 stars. Thank you every one.“

“Excellent place to eat. As an appetizer I had the bacon popcorn. Everyone needs to try. I had the pulled pork sandwich. Very tasty. I liked the variety of pulled pork, barbecue sauce and coleslaw. For dessert I had the homemade apple pie. Probably the best I had in this area. Great job. Service was excellent. The waitress was very friendly and explained every question we had for her The atmosphere was a rustic look which I really enjoyed“

“I can’t speak to what Grüv is like if you’re just grabbing a bite and a drink, but we held my mom’s retirement party upstairs and everything was wonderful. Allyson was our bartender/server and she was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately some of her co-workers left a mess upstairs from the night before & Allyson was stuck cleaning it up while we were there setting up. She took it in stride and handled like a pro. The food and drinks were wonderful & the upstairs space is beautiful. I can’t thank Allyson enough for helping to make the day memorable for my mom!“

“Absolutely iconic bar! A must see if you live or visit Belleville. The pizza is amazing and decor unlike anywhere I've ever seen. Numerous large televisions with excellent surround sound that really puts you in any game! Also for you gamblers out there, Demos has plenty of slot machines and bar games. If you have an opportunity book this place in plenty of advance for any party.“

“Always a good time, close enough to stumble home, the regulars are all good people, It used to feel like a Red neck bar , but it's a much better vibe now, I know people like the homemade apple pie shot, love going and smoking weed outside on their deck, friendly faces, but definitely needs more ladies to frequent often“

“You will never have a bad time here with any of the bartenders! Take it from me and i terrorize all of them and the will tell you! Their awesome! Day, after 5 or late night they hold their own with me and I am that guy who is ornery as hell and keeps it light even in th worst! The place to be in Granite City after a bad day, or just because! Be cautious of Darla and Shelley those two..... They got you?! Lol love my home bar and bartenders! They know it! So yes yelp her it is... Hooches and sixteen has 100% from this guy... But even the first time visitor know their welcome! Wealthy or average Joe these bartenders have everyone. But if your too lit to drive they will stop you! “Spanky's is a great spot to have a beer and something to eat as you speed through Illinoise. No one knows who Spanky was or is and theres lots of theories claiming wild stuff. One guy told me Spanky was actually Andre Iguodala (Golden State Warriors) but still came here after games to hang with locals. One woman thought he was an alien that came here to bring some joy to a fairly gnarly neighbourhood. Who really cares, the spirit of Spanky is what matters and the joy it brings to all. So come on down, have a drink and meet some people with real character.“

“I was there for a few minutes. I’m not a drinker or someone you usually find at a bar but I love the hometown familiarity. Many people I grew up with were there. The owner is a fantastic, tough as nails, iconic type of woman. We need more business owners and entrepreneurs like her. I’ll write more when I have more to say! I believe Sue & her establishment deserve a full 5-star review.“
“Two pool tables, lots of gaming machines, at least one dart board, jukebox, good sized bar with lots of stools. The women's restroom was very clean, everything worked, and everything was stocked and so adorably decorated!! The smoking section is completely fenced in and has multiple tables. It's not the biggest place but it is fun! Lots of tables inside too. I'd go back!“

“Super cool place to check out. If you are new to ordering drinks they got you. Every drink I've had has been incredible, the people are super nice. They have an covered outdoor smoking area, various music selections. Can not recommend enough.“
“Catfish the owner consummate bar owner he remembers everyone and makes a point to greet his customers personally. A Harley rider himself holds group rides on Saturdays during riding season. This is the local location of the annual Blessing of the Bikes . A large outdoor seating area with plenty of property for huge crowds attending several biker events each year. Always some free food on weekends as well as bar food for sale reasonabley priced beer and cocktails.“

“LOVE everything about ToM! Food is delicious, servers are friendly, place is nice and clean. Outdoor seating is great when weather permits. Favorites are the Beef Marco think that’s the name, the salmon, fried mushrooms and house salad! Drinks are also good.“

“Okay, let me just say Holly is amazing. She was attention to detail, with not only me, but everyone around on a busy Saturday night. She even cleaned parts of the bar, that did not smell the greatest. But still made sure, guest were satisfied. I would be recommending this establishment, because Holly was genuine and caring. Would be coming back just for her“

“I have tried all breakfast places in twenty mile area… this place is by far the best place for breakfast… the weekends from 8 to 11 are now my favorite. The food is always fresh and never greasy… the breakfast cook here is amazing….this place is open Saturday morning from8-11 for breakfast and Sunday 8-1“
