“My husband and I stopped in during the Pride event just looking for the first place we found with food, and not only was the music and atmosphere super cool, we got the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and I swear, it was THE BEST pizza 👏🏻 I’ve 👏🏻 ever 👏🏻 had. The service was great, the food was affordable. Can’t wait to go back!“

“It all looks great, the vibes, the food, the service, the employees. Looks very welcoming and affordable. I think it's going to be 5 stars if you can read a book by the cover. Keep looking forward to coming here. And, I'm excited. To come by myself or with my husband. Can't wait. I'm excited just by the thought of what a wonderful time I'm going to have here. Excited to try the whole menu eventually. Very welcoming just by the looks from Google maps. Just want to drink coke, and try the food. Love a smash burger. “If you’re anywhere near 1428 Tap Haus, do yourself a favor and stop in. The atmosphere is exactly what a neighborhood spot should be...homey, welcoming, relaxed, and full of good people. You can tell right away this isn’t some cookie-cutter bar. It feels like the kind of place where strangers become regulars after one visit. Misty and her daughter Mystical were incredibly friendly and made all of us Missouri guys feel right at home. Great service, great drinks, live music, and just an all-around good vibe from the moment you walk in the door. You can tell a lot about a place by the people running it, and 1428 Tap Haus has the kind of warmth and personality that keeps you wanting to come back. Looking forward to many more nights there!“

“The Cabin is a great location for a good meal and some local entertainment. There are plenty of TVs for watching sports. There are three different seating areas inside, screened deck and outside deck. There are a few games setup for playing bags or bocce ball.“

“I've only been a few times but seems to be a fun and inclusive place to meet some interesting characters and play pool.
Oh and I'm sure other reviews have mentioned it but THE WINGS. Do not sleep on the wings their buffalo sauce is chefs kiss 😘
Edit: all the bartenders I have met have treated me with respect despite my weirdness, my kind of place“

“Their brunch buffet is amazing! Made to order eggs, pancakes and French toast come with it. Everything else is amazing too. Their potato skins remind me of Jack n the Box bacon cheddar potato wedges! Good prices too. We usually get carryout once a week from here for dinner.“

“I've been there a few nights for the pool league on Wednesdays. It was pretty lively. It's a nice small bar with a beautiful patio out back. They have dart boards, slot machines, and an ok selection of beer and liquor. Good small bar vibe, cozy.“
“I have been frequenting El Gato’s since the fall of 2020. I mostly go in only on weekends because I enjoy karaoke and I have a blast. The bartenders are friendly and attentive… the karaoke DJ Doug is amazing. He definitely broke me out of my shell to where I’ll sing alone“
“Wife and I stopped by while doing our own little bar hop visiting Belleville. First 2 places we visited we weren't impressed with. Saw Demos while looking for other options. Walked in and immediately felt a very welcoming vibe! The bartender (Sam) was great, and she overheard we were hungry for a pizza. She came over and gave us several recommendations, and we ended up going with her personal favorite (Bennie's). Sam, it was really good!!! Thanks for helping out a couple of strangers!! “We stumbled upon this bar and grill and decided to grab a beer and lunch. We both had the Reuben sandwich and I had fries while my husband had chips. It was very good food except for the fries. Holy cow, so much salt in the seasoning I could not eat more than a few.“
“I absolutely love coming here on Tuesday nights especially. When I'm in town I visit here the bartenders Ashley and Ms Bonnie are my favorite. I just show up and they know exactly what to pour up. The atmosphere is great. The people are welcoming and fun to be around. I use to be a complete stranger now because I was invited by a special friend NICOLE, I am a regular even when I'm away from a long period of time and pop back out. The pool hall is the best place to talk your talk to each other and enjoy the night. The music is soothing. I completely love it here. I feel like I'm home away from home.“
