“Six of my former co-workers and I had lunch here 9/17/2019.\n\nMost of us had hamburgers - - some also had fries.\n\nThe burgers were thick, grilled just right and very tasty.\n\nThey give a generous portion of fries.\n\nOur server was friendly and provided great, timely service.\n\nMy check for a hamburger and water including tax (excluding tip) was $6.13.\n\nWe'll be going back.“

“Every time me and my other half come here, we are treated with the utmost right respect by the staff and the owner!!! the food is always fantastic. I've been coming here for over 50 years and I don't think we've ever been disappointed.
Tonight was no exception.
4 of us in our party, 2 had chicken, 2 had catfish. Everything was excellent.
Our service couldn't have been better.
Quick refills on our drinks, quick to clear any empty dishes, very friendly and pleasant, just the kind of experience that you always hope for when you are dining out.
I really enjoy the fact that Gil's is holding onto the supper club style that it is famous for.
There's not a lot of places like this left.“

Upon arriving at 11:30 for pickup, and being met at the door by Jeffrey, I had a feeling that this was a good decision. We chose the prime rib 🥩 since we are having a traditional turkey 🦃 dinner tomorrow. Everything, including all sides, was delicious 😋 Thank you for committing your Thanksgiving day to serve others.“
“First time experience! Went for lunch around 1 after some fishing. I'm sure it gets busy during rush hours... Because this place had very good burgers and tenderloin! Pulled pork chili cheese fries! We also had a Carmel Peanut butter malt! See for yourself!“

“I went to Kuchie's for the first time. The staff was friendly and helpful for this first timer. I sat at the bar so i could get the full experience. Ok, I'll admit that I do like to people watch. My drink was good, appetizer (cheese Curds) vary good. My Pattie Melt was made with a swirled bread and all the typical fix-n's all the flavors blended together well, tasty! All in all Kat the bartender was attentive and professional. The rest of the staff was top notch. 5 stars I will go back along with spreading the word of my good times.“

“I went for lunch today and had the catfish, dinner salad, and Cole slaw. It was an actual channel catfish, cooked with the most perfect crust that was not at all grease on it, the salad had the freshest salad greens, slices if cucumber, and tomatoes, with delicious croutons. The cole slaw is made there, is creamy, and I fell in love with all of it. The owner is a perfectionist and the food is too quality! I have not found anyone else in Peoria that serves this quality of food. I will be there at least once a week! Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!“

“The food is easily a 10 out of 10. The service is exemplary, friendly and personal. I love eating there. The only con is the price of a Caesar salad, on our last visit my wife and I each got a Caesar salad to start our meal and the two salads alone was $25.00, everything else was inline with the service and atmosphere which is the best.“

“We came in with a large bunch (kids included) on St Patrick's day. They had a stand going upstairs as well. The staff upstairs were great about letting us hide our strollers and wagons away behind them while we went down for drinks and food. The staff was great and right on the ball with everything we needed! it was fantastic!“

“We frequent this restaurant. The food is always very good. The service is always very good. The staff seem to be very loud and conduct themselves in an unprofessional manner. Most of the time we go there we dine in. We can barely hear our conversation at our table because the staff is carrying on in a loud party like manner.“

“Our first time! The Brats are good. Loved the haus slaw but they only filled the container half way up which was disappointing. Was hoping for German potato salad too. Overall what we got was good but not enough food for $30.“

“Love their waffle fries and shoestring fries. Love how the tables are not crowded together. We had the prime rib special, chicken strips, BBQ burger, tuna steak (very spicy!!), and filet mignon. Called 30 minutes before arriving to make reservations, sat down with no wait time. This restaurant has a much quieter atmosphere than most other restaurants, in our experiences. A lot of cheesecakes on dessert menu... would love to see skillet cookie added there.“
