“I have been before, alone, on work trips. I've talked about Firefly so much my wife was like "let's go" so we drove 4.5 hours for friend green tomatoes! Made a road trip of it from Ohio! I was so excited when we arrived in Effingham and I could see the restaurant from our hotel!!! Never disappointed!“

“I don’t like to leave poor reviews but hoping this will help the restaurant do better. We ordered at 1:09 pm, at 1:30 I finally went up front to check on our food. I did this because I saw others eating that were in line behind me. My tray with my children’s meals was sitting there, holding on cheese curds. I was able to grab my food. My bun was as hard as a rock, food was Luke warm. They should have brought my food then brought out the curds later. Also, I received 12 cheese curds, this was very upsetting considering it’s a $2 up charge for curds. Never had issues in the past, hoping just a fluke because we love Culver’s!“

“Holy cow Effingham's Friday's has really stepped it up. It's never been bad, but their new steakhouse menu is awesome! On top of that, the service is really, really good. The 14-ounce ribeye was legitimately the best steak I've ever had in Effingham, and I say that at the risk of being taken out by some other local places that are also really good.“

“This restaurant is located INSIDE the IGA. It's behind the pharmacy and deli counter.
You go through the line, get your tray and drink then seat yourself. The food is excellent. The salad and dessert bar is expansive. SO MANY great choices and variety. The hot bar doesn't have a huge selection, but what was there was delicious. Lots of seating area, clean bathrooms and a cozy environment. Staff were all extremely friendly.
We had a party of 11 and everyone enjoyed it. We will definitely be eating here again when in town. The price was great too! P.S. Just ask for extra plates if needed. They will give them to you.“

“We made a 2.5 hour trip to Pinky’s for the first time. The food was GREAT, priced fair, the waitress was fantastic and the domes were a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Pinky’s.“

“Went there for the first time on Valentines Day. Had the blackened fish sandwich with fries, wife had the gyro. It was very good! It was very busy when we arrived but only waited a short time to be seated and our food came out quick and hot! Our server Nicole F was GREAT! Loved the open layout of the restaurant. Will definitely be back!“

“We love taking our kids here and they love it too. Darren D. is our favorite waiter and ask for him every time we go.

I called and placed an order and was t able to make the pick up time, I called back and they made it fresh for me! This is excellent service.“

“No issues with wait time. The food was pretty decent. My husband wasn’t a fan of the burger. He said the burger didn’t taste like 100% beef. The waffles were delicious. I love sweets, but the caramel on top was too much for me. The server never smiled. She overfilled my drink and it spilled over on to the table, but she didn’t apologize, didn’t offer to clean it up, and didn’t bring loose napkins until our food came.
Once we had our food, she only checked on us once. My husband ran out of drink and had to drink mine. The worst part of the visit was our waitress and the cook bickering back and forth several times. They were bickering about what did and didn’t come on/with meals, about the waitress thinking the cook was having a bad day, about the cook not having a bad day and that the waitress was just “attaching emotions to his questions and the way his face looked.”“

“Just passing through and staying one night in Effingham, IL. Walked over to the TK Grille for dinner after a long days drive. We both had a cocktail; me a Moscow Mule (best I've ever had) and my husband a Manhattan (delicious as well). For dinner, we both liked the idea of the Sirloin Steak Salad (cooked to medium and with the balsamic vinegarette on the side). We really, really enjoyed ours! Dessert of Chocolate Chunk Brownie Sundae was amazing and the best brownie we both have ever had ?“

“We just happened to be traveling by to Effingham from Bridgeport IL and decided to stop and eat. They had all you can eat fish buffet and it was very good. My husband loved their fried potatoes. Waitress was very pleasant and great service. Nice Bar and Grill.“
