“Such a nice wine shop! Went to the thanksgiving Wine tasting and it was 30 wines for $25 and a fantastic savory spread.

“This was the best night out!! We went out with friends and shared multiple dishes (and so much wine.) The food was outstanding. The wine was so flavourful and we just kept ordering more. The Black Grape Crostini was probably the best I've ever had. Go here for a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with great food and team!!!!!“

“If you don’t know yet, Lombard has got it going on! And GL105 is an outstanding example of this quaint suburb. Expect high quality and comfortable casual dining; perfect place to meet up with friends.
The bartender knows how to mix and they have great taste in wines. Their creative menu will please a variety of tastes with tender smoked meats, tasty Asian dishes and other savory feasts. We hit up the short rib stroganoff, chicken fried rice bowl and pressed short ribs. Every bite was delicious (maybe the mashed potatoes weren’t quite at the same level.)
Hosts were a little stiff but the rest of the staff was very committed to making sure we had a great time and we did!“

“We had a great time at ko-ze! My husband planned my 40th birthday party in their back room, and the staff was so welcoming and accommodating with our large group. It was the perfect spot for a big gathering, and the wine and beverage selections were fantastic!“

“I wanted to make my own cheese board but did not have time. I was looking for a local cheese shop in the neighborhood and stumbled upon WineStyles. I completely forgot to take a picture. However Emily and her staff are wonderful! We ordered a cheese board for a party, normally this isn’t something they do. We bought our own board from HomeGoods and brought it to her, came back the next day for pickup with a wonderful board. I think there were 3 different meats, and 4 different cheeses. Along with the crackers, jam and almonds. Everything on the board was super delicious and it was a hit at the party!! The whole thing was gone within 20 minutes haha. We had quite a few people ask where we purchased it. We definitely think Emily & team should look into offering this as a regular service or at least around the holidays, it would be super popular. I love the aesthetic at her place as well. We also purchased a few bottles of wine which we brought to party. Also a huge hit! As a local business owner myself, I am happy we found this place and happy to support. My husband and I will definitely be coming here to eat and drink soon. We were both pleased with the friendly service and the amazing cheese board! We absolutely recommend! Thank you!“

“Cesar. I was having the worst day because I found out my mom needed emergency surgery so I was rushing to get to Scottsdale and stopped for a glass of wine. (Or two) I realize I was late for my flight and ran to my gate. I of course left my laptop there. Thank you for reporting it because I was screwed if not. Somehow the laptop ended up at my gate and an attendant brought it to me. Great service. Great man and great vibes. Thanks for the wonderful service.“
“AMAZING!! great wine and snacks! the blueberry goat cheese is amazing the staff is so nice and hospitable and gave great wine recommendations definitely recommend the chocolate shots (won't give it away but they were a fantastic surprise!) we stayed for 3-3 1/2 hours it was a great time will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone!!!“
“I called on short notice to have 9 bottles purchased for a tasting menu party. I needed lighter bodied "crowd pleasers" for a diverse menu and on a restricted budget. I believe it was Adrian who graciously helped me over the phone. The wines were a massive hit with the wine newbies and those with a much more experienced palate than mine. I am grateful to have such a wonderful shop local to Oak Park that provides the extra effort of fabulous service and hospitality. All of my in-store experiences have been wonderful, as well. Kudos to ownership!“

“Everyone and everything was wonderful. They don’t rush you. Ask you how you want it served … the order. We’re a share a lot of small plates to start then sometimes share parts of the different main dishes and they were totally accommodating. The food delicious“

“Had a wonderful night out with friends. The food has always was delicious. We had the butternut squash soup and tuna tartar
for appetizers. For dinner we had the pork chop shrimp and grits and cedar plank salmon. Everything was tap-notch. The service was friendly and is a true dining experience.“

“Only complaint was that the dining room was noisy, so that it made conversation difficult. Most likely the result of a large crowd, with a 20 to 40 minute wait.
Vegetarian options: Depends on how strict a vegetarian. It is authentic Greek cuisine, so there are many seafood options. Strict vegetarians will be limited to roasted vegetables and hummus dishes, but they will try their best to accommodate.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free dishes are labeled on the menu, but I don't think this is a totally gluten free kitchen with separate prep and cooking areas.
Parking: Large self parking lot that can overflow into other parking areas.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with children dine here. Many options on a children's menu.
Wheelchair accessibility: Large dining area with good access to move around, including the washrooms. Very little floor transitions (bumps or steps) unless one is going to back private dining rooms.“

“This was our second time dining at Positano’s and it was just as fabulous! The food here is superb, the wait staff are very attentive and we love the photos on the wall! The Seabass was to die for and the grilled seafood appetizer was divine! Our only regret is that we live in New York and cannot be frequent patrons of this wonderful establishment! Mille Grazie!!“

“My wife and I went here to celebrate our birthday. They had our table ready and decorated, the staff was great and our waiter Mark went above and beyond. “Food: I got the breakfast sandwich with the gluten-free English muffin. I was impressed they had this option and then they could remove the cheese because they assemble it there. I do wish it had some kind of sauce or something as it was a bit dry, but overall, it was a good sandwich and usually I’m not a big fan of breakfast sandwiches cause I think the egg can be questionable
Drink: oat miel was very good!

“We recently got married at The Elm this past weekend (10/13/2024) and can't express in words how satisfied we were with their service. Starting from the first day that we went to see The Elm we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had our ceremony in the Kensington room, and our reception in the Madison room. The atmosphere and vibe of both rooms was everything that we could hope for. The staff was incredible, the food/drinks were AMAZING, and our guests had nothing but positive feedback. WE HIGHLY RECOMMED THIS PLACE FOR A WEDDING AND/OR ANY OTHER EVENT.“

“We were a fan of the fabulous food already. But when my husband and daughter planned a surprise Birthday party for me, we were VERY impressed. They said whenever they asked Ricardo for something the only thing they heard was: No problem! OR… Whatever you need! And ALL of our guests complimented the food and most took home doggie bags. If you need a party room and want to work with the most accommodating staff - give Ricardo a call. If I could give a 10 star rating - I would. I promise you won’t be disappointed!“

“Pablo, our waiter, was exceptional. During our first visit here, he warmly welcomed us and showcased impressive knowledge of the menu, even extending to items not listed. He encouraged us to customize our meal to our liking, and he certainly delivered! For starters, we chose the grilled calamari and Rockefeller oysters. The calamari was tender and impeccably cooked, steering clear of the typical rubbery texture. Opting for balsamic instead of oil was a perfect choice. The oysters were superb, not overwhelmed with cheese. I ordered the veal picatta from the menu, expecting a thin slab, but was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The angel hair pasta complemented the dish well, although I could have done without the mushrooms – a personal preference, which I should've mentioned. Nonetheless, if you're a mushroom enthusiast, they give you plenty. My boyfriend ordered off-menu, enjoying the Zuppe di Pesce with shrimp, clams, extra calamari, and rigatoni Diablo style in red sauce. It was absolutely amazing and satisfied his taste without being overly spicy. To accompany the meal, I had a glass of the house Chardonnay, which was light and buttery. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't typically drink wine, enjoyed it. Our heartfelt thanks to Pablo and the owner/chef Giovanni for an outstanding dining experience, both in terms of the meal and the service.“

“What can I say about SandTrap! They have daily specials, they’re kid friendly, The bartenders create tasty drinks, their Thursday night Karaoke Rocks, and their menu is priced for anyone’s pocket. If they have special events, it’s always nicely decorated and you control your own music! Try the shotski for 4 drinkers!! If it’s too low key for your party, ask the bartender to spice it up…pump up the volume! You will have a great time!! Go check them out!!! They are accommodating to their customers!“

“It was a late night dinner and we were looking for someplace good and luckily Jameson's was still open. Coffee was good and we were very happy w the pork chops, chicken philly and chicken club sandwiches. That being said my salad lacked tomatoes and cucumbers. “We always know we’ll have a wonderful time at Tannins. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service team is attentive and friendly, and the wine selection is exceptional. Their wine club is a fantastic value, offering great perks at a very reasonable price. Tannins is our go-to spot for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. Highly recommend!
