“Solemn Oath is a great little brewery. Cozy and full of great types of beer. I met some lovely dogs indoor..... Yep they allow dogs inside. I had a really awesome natural aged stout the was creamy with a chocolate aftertaste. There is a pool table inside. Would definitely come back!!“

“My favorite brewery! Really friendly service, and delicious fresh cold brews from the refreshing Grapefruit Raddler, smooth layers, to darker, stronger and different beers for any taste.

The smattering of food is great from sharing a pizza with friends to noshing a soft pretzel on your own pizza (really though, big enough for a 4 person snack).

The outside area is bigger every year and a great place to meet people!

And Spiteful is a great neighbor. They are always supporting Bowmanville and the surrounding area.“

“I've been knows the number of times and I've always liked it. They've done a lot building out the rear space and that's nice to have expanded area because it was a little bit tight before. They have a stage in the main area which allows them to have entertainment.“

“Great atmosphere, very festive. The server was so nice and helpful with suggestions for our meal. She kept checking in on us throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed.

The fried pickles with their dipping sauce were a fun surprise, really good.

Also, I enjoyed the Burrata pizza. Although it tastes great on it's own it could have used a balsamic glaze to sweeten it a bit. My friend opted for the Kimchi fries (slightly spicy) and the fruit pizza. It looked like a healthy summer salad, covered in feta and fruit, and was told it was pretty good.

Parking was a bit of a struggle. We found street parking behind the location in a residential street.

“Stopped by Four Moon Tavern on a Friday night, had the Pimento Burger and a side of onion rings. Burger was juicy, cheesy, and hit the spot; onion rings were crispy and not greasy. Tossed back a $3.50 bottle of Schlitz during happy hour, can’t beat that. The jukebox was playing classic rock, the vibe was chill, and the staff was friendly. Definitely a solid neighborhood bar with good food and drinks. I’ll be back for sure.“

“Social Junkie is one the top 3 best bars in the dunning area. I’ve been coming here since they rebranded and it’s always been a fun time! Great drink selections and their food is outstanding. I’ve tried a couple of different items from their menu over the years and I recently got their Parma burger and fries. They were both delightful and it’s one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. I can’t explain it, but the taste was so unique and also very affordable compared to other bar and grills in the city. It’s a worth a visit when you are in the dunning area!“

I love that the lavender lattes are year-round, absolutely scrumptious pastries, friendly staff, and the environment is comfortable. Earlier this month before heading out, I went to purchase a sweatshirt but they didn’t have any in store in my size. Nick, the owner, went above and beyond offering to meet up beforehand, but I just didn’t have time-so he shipped it. “If I lived in Chicago, this would be my go to drinking spot. Incredible beer list with a bunch of great stuff on draft. They’re a Malört bar so they go hard on everything Malört including an ever changing rotation of infusions. On my visit, I absolutely loved the Gumball infusion. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the cheddar caramel version, too. I don’t like the Chicago style popcorn mix with the same flavor profile but it somehow worked in Malört?“
