“Solemn Oath is a great little brewery. Cozy and full of great types of beer. I met some lovely dogs indoor..... Yep they allow dogs inside. I had a really awesome natural aged stout the was creamy with a chocolate aftertaste. There is a pool table inside. Would definitely come back!!“

“The guacamole 🥑 was amazing with the chips. Ribeye steak 🥩 was a great pairing with the pasta. Amazonian ice cream 🍨 was delicious. and a shot of espresso to finish was a very good combination of everything. Service was wonderful. Overall a great experience.“

“Very comfortable atmosphere. Seems like there are a lot of regulars because the staff greets people (and dogs) by name. I luckily stopped in for Happy Hour. Pours were 20% off ($7.20ish a draft). I had parmesan truffle fries but the parmesan was commercial powder and I couldn't taste the truffle, but I'll try the cheese curds next time. People around me really seemed to enjoy the tacos. There are also menu items that can be made vegan. And simple plant based substitutes for vegetarian with Beyond patties and chorizo, which I appreciate and those substitutions are their own menu items, not an up-charge. Very friendly staff and kind patrons.“

“My favorite brewery! Really friendly service, and delicious fresh cold brews from the refreshing Grapefruit Raddler, smooth layers, to darker, stronger and different beers for any taste.

The smattering of food is great from sharing a pizza with friends to noshing a soft pretzel on your own pizza (really though, big enough for a 4 person snack).

The outside area is bigger every year and a great place to meet people!

And Spiteful is a great neighbor. They are always supporting Bowmanville and the surrounding area.“

The service was good! It was a bit rowdy crowd there bc of the basketball game but overall a good time and definitely would be back! Also, order the summer smash! So so good if you like fruity drinks!“

“I live down the street and came here with my wife and kids for dinner. Not the typical Thai menu. Had the satay skewers that came with a delicious pickled salad that was so spicy I was crying and laughing and panting like a dog. Also shared the hot pot which comes with steak and meatballs and herbs and noodles and broth. Delicious food and the fire was kinda cool but unnecessary but that is coming from a boring old guy. Def will be back soon to try their other stuff“

“Update: It's s probably been 2 or so years since I've been in. Was in the neighborhood and had to stop in for nostalgia. Service is just as good as I remember and the food is still top notch! Shrimp Po boy and the wings tasted like I remember. Love the addition of the On Trend: Fire : It Slaps cocktail menu.

Excellent craft beer selection beyond just IPA's. Food has been consistently solid for the 7+ years I've been coming here.“

“Stopped by Four Moon Tavern on a Friday night, had the Pimento Burger and a side of onion rings. Burger was juicy, cheesy, and hit the spot; onion rings were crispy and not greasy. Tossed back a $3.50 bottle of Schlitz during happy hour, can’t beat that. The jukebox was playing classic rock, the vibe was chill, and the staff was friendly. Definitely a solid neighborhood bar with good food and drinks. I’ll be back for sure.“

“The service is excellent. They have good tap beer selections. But what ultimately keeps me going back almost weekly is that I get to meet lots of people when I sit at the bar. And that goes back to the service— they foster that atmosphere. We and when you go, ask about the burger of the month. Those are almost always excellent.“

“Social Junkie is one the top 3 best bars in the dunning area. I’ve been coming here since they rebranded and it’s always been a fun time! Great drink selections and their food is outstanding. I’ve tried a couple of different items from their menu over the years and I recently got their Parma burger and fries. They were both delightful and it’s one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. I can’t explain it, but the taste was so unique and also very affordable compared to other bar and grills in the city. It’s a worth a visit when you are in the dunning area!“

“I ate an early lunch, so it was really quiet.The food was fantastic. Bacon Wrapped dates are tasty and had a sauce that really complemented the dish. The Chicken Lady Pizza was excellent. Caramelized onions definitely gave the flavor a pop. It was too early for me to drink, but I was impressed by their bar selection (especially Irish whiskey).“

“I've been knows the number of times and I've always liked it. They've done a lot building out the rear space and that's nice to have expanded area because it was a little bit tight before. They have a stage in the main area which allows them to have entertainment.“

“Outdoor patio is ideal--trees, overhead lights, off the street. Burgers and beer great. The spicy peppers and bacon one was on point.

Service struggled - we were told a table was ready but then it turned into 15 min wait. Were sat with no menus (we wound up taking them from nearby uncleared tables). No server until we asked. Had to ask for water. Server took our order and said they were doing us a favor because the other server was busy... but we never met another server. So service experience was poor, but individual staff were helpful and trying, so it may have been a bad night.

Indoor noise was very very loud from average conversation and TVs. Needs a sound noise suppression. Wouldn't want to sit inside.“

“Super fun place. Late night bar open until 4 every night with great bartenders and fun but firm security. On the weekends the manager is always at the front of the bar making sure everyone is safe and having fun. The Nintendo Switch on the big screen is an awesome addition on top of the Rock music playing whenever you come in. Highly recommend.“
