“Very comfortable atmosphere. Seems like there are a lot of regulars because the staff greets people (and dogs) by name. I luckily stopped in for Happy Hour. Pours were 20% off ($7.20ish a draft). I had parmesan truffle fries but the parmesan was commercial powder and I couldn't taste the truffle, but I'll try the cheese curds next time. People around me really seemed to enjoy the tacos. There are also menu items that can be made vegan. And simple plant based substitutes for vegetarian with Beyond patties and chorizo, which I appreciate and those substitutions are their own menu items, not an up-charge. Very friendly staff and kind patrons.“

“First time at Spiteful brewing and it was exactly what you might expect from an independent brewery. Good selection of beers, good location and it looks like they have a very nice outdoor seating area out front.

This day was not conducive to outdoor seating, but I imagine this is a great location during the summer months.“

“Stopped by Four Moon Tavern on a Friday night, had the Pimento Burger and a side of onion rings. Burger was juicy, cheesy, and hit the spot; onion rings were crispy and not greasy. Tossed back a $3.50 bottle of Schlitz during happy hour, can’t beat that. The jukebox was playing classic rock, the vibe was chill, and the staff was friendly. Definitely a solid neighborhood bar with good food and drinks. I’ll be back for sure.“

“Gaslight Bar in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood isn't to be confused with the Gaslight Club at O'Hare Airport's Hilton Hotel or the old-style Gaslight Club in downtown Chicago. This Gaslight, located at 2450 North Clark Street, at West Arlington Place, is a neighborhood sports bar with three full bars, a year-round patio and a full and delicious menu. Open from 4 to 2 a.m. Monday through Friday, 10 to 3 a.m. on Saturday and 10 to 2 a.m. on Sunday, this is a space formerly occupied by Mickey's Bar & Patio. Since Gaslight Bar opened in 2014, it has become a popular go-to destination for folks who love to mix their sports with their palates. I showed up early for Game Day and started with chicken tenders with honey mustard, a bow of tomato basil soup with croutons and parmesan and Kale Caesar Salad with Kale, Romaine lettuce, parmesan, focaccia breadcrumbs and Caesar dressing. For a main event, I couldn't resist the house's best seller, a 4C Smash Burger, a double beef patty with American cheese, iceberg lettuce, pickles, red onion, dijon and ketchup. With house-seasoned French fries. Surely one of the best burgers in town.“

“I've been knows the number of times and I've always liked it. They've done a lot building out the rear space and that's nice to have expanded area because it was a little bit tight before. They have a stage in the main area which allows them to have entertainment.“

Shrimp Po boy and the wings tasted like I remember. Love the addition of the On Trend: Fire : It Slaps cocktail menu.

“Social Junkie is one the top 3 best bars in the dunning area. I’ve been coming here since they rebranded and it’s always been a fun time! Great drink selections and their food is outstanding. I’ve tried a couple of different items from their menu over the years and I recently got their Parma burger and fries. They were both delightful and it’s one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. I can’t explain it, but the taste was so unique and also very affordable compared to other bar and grills in the city. It’s a worth a visit when you are in the dunning area!“

“I love the vibes here. Everyone is having a good time and the servers and bartenders are awesome. I popped in here the day after Christmas with my parents who were visiting.

I got the white chili which was good but a bit too spicy for me. I admit, I’m kind of a wimp when it comes to spice levels, so you might think it’s perfect. My parents both got the soup of the day which was a tomato bisque. They both licked their bowls clean saying it was amazing.

“Outdoor patio is ideal--trees, overhead lights, off the street. Burgers and beer great. The spicy peppers and bacon one was on point.

Service struggled - we were told a table was ready but then it turned into 15 min wait. Were sat with no menus (we wound up taking them from nearby uncleared tables). No server until we asked. Had to ask for water. Server took our order and said they were doing us a favor because the other server was busy... but we never met another server. So service experience was poor, but individual staff were helpful and trying, so it may have been a bad night.

Indoor noise was very very loud from average conversation and TVs. Needs a sound noise suppression. Wouldn't want to sit inside.“
