“So the food was good but we were disappointed that the salud style tacos didn’t come on blue masa tortilla like it said on the menu and they were unfortunately out of the Empanadas De Yuca which was the thing we were the most looking forward too. Also we were not served any rice or beans which I’m not sure if that is still a thing here but on the menu I have it said this.I definitely recommend the fried Elote it was absolutely amazing an I would definitely get it again.Drinks were good definitely recommend the lavender mojitos and the Mexican mule drink.“
“The food and drinks were good, though the second round of drinks took a little while to get (they were never put in...however, in the staff's defense it felt like a busy night). Once the crowds started dying down we were helped by our waiter, who gave us great suggestions for what to try next.Food & drinks: Great place for good Whiskey drinks!“
“Territory Kitchen is a hidden gem of really chill and intimate restaurants in Lincoln Square. I love Chris and Vittorio’s dynamic and vibe makes it really feel like the neighborhood spot you can be a regular at. The food an awesome blend of Italian and German food, from perfectly cooked pastas to savory sandwiches and shoestring fries! The food is what brings me in, but it is definitely the chefs’ energy that brings me back!Vegetarian options: They are very accommodating to edit dishes for vegetarians. And make recommendations too!Kid-friendliness: I always come with with my friend and their family, they are so welcoming and fun with the kids. I also love seeing one of the chef’s young son helping out. One time he played our waiter it was so cute!“
“We loved our experience at Giant! We’ve been wanting to eat here for a while and thought what better time than to go out for my birthday. My wife and I can’t say enough great things about the food, our server Bailey and the whole experience. Bailey was the best server ever! We love her and will definitely be back.“
“Stopped by on a Friday night. Wait time was about an hour which isn’t too bad (can’t make reservations in advance). The burgers are *to die for* and come with a large helping on fries on the side. The other entrees and sides looked great too. Absolute must-try in Chicago.“
“First time visit to this Chicago landmark. It did not disappoint. Amazing atmosphere where a lifetime collection of enameled beer memorabilia in an old brick building. Great beer selection of Belgian beers and craft beer and an equally impressive menu. Friendly and attentive staff gives it a neighborhood feel that you just want to go back to again and again. Can't wait for my next trip to Chicago.“
“Cocktail variety is great, tried You should be dancing, and a glass of bubbly. Squash agnolotti was much enjoyed as was the Gnocchi Parisienne. They nicely provided a delicious side of bread, when asked. Fun vibe, sat at the Bar, will visit again when back in the city“
“My first time trying this place was for lunch today and it was such a good experience! The host was very welcoming and kind, and so was my server. I tried a blueberry bourbon drink that was amazing, and had a bowl of the chili mac that was even better. I had a lovely time and can’t wait to come back!“
“This place is awesome. Me and a friend went for bottom-less mimosas and let me tell you they do not disappoint. You know how sometimes you go to a bottom-less brunch and the server barely comes to refill your glass? Well this place does the opposite, before I was half done with the glass they would top me off. Such great service and the food was yummy too, I would suggest a little something sweet like hot honey or hot maple syrup on the chicken biscuit sandwich though. If you want a nice healthy day drinking sesh with a bestie highly recommend!“
“Easily the best dive bar in Avondale. Their food is incredible, (get the fried pickles,) and very affordable. Very solid drink menu and the staff is super friendly. If you go for trivia, (which you should if you like bar trivia, this place was great,) make sure you get there at least 30 minutes early because it will fill up. Love this place“
“Great place and a great addition to the neighborhood. I’ve been here a few times now and enjoyed everything I’ve had. Great cocktails too. The couple that opened it are wonderful people. The staff and owners are super friendly and attentive.“
“We had a really nice dinner here a couple days before Christmas. It has a really cozy neighborhood feel and the waiter was super nice. They have a daily happy hour which was awesome, we got mussels and cocktail shrimp for a really good price. It is very family friendly, they were very kind to our toddler. The best thing we ate there among many good things was the apple galette dessert, it was amazing.“
“Was here randomly on a Sunday because I knew the previous bar that was here and lemme tell ya this new spot is a huge improvement! Don’t hesitate definitely order the lobster corndogs soooo good and unique. Also don’t sleep on the mussels the butter sauce is so good. 2nd best mussels in the city in my opinion and they hook it up great portion. This place is a great addition to Wicker. Causal atmosphere with elevated food!“
“Stopping in on the whim we got lucky and found a gem. We googled somewhere to eat and this place poped up. Im glad it did. I tried the best lamb burger and fries ? and they are A1. I will be going back in the near future. And check out their “
“the owner jun is so nice, helpful, and funny! it's a great bar to socialize as well as eat and drink. i would come here every day if i could!i got the bulgogi burger and it was delicious- just a heads up if you do get it, it's not a typical 'burger' patty, it's literally bulgogi- but it's so flavorful and unique it's such a good item to try! the fried egg was so good on it...another good item is the bulgogi tacos they come with kimchi on them (so good)also the drinks are strong! i suggest getting the green apple soju (yum)TLDR; come to BDG, not just to drink and socialize, but also to try the delicious food!Vegetarian options: burger made with portabello mushrooms, veggie soup, etc“
“Pleasantly surprised by this place located on Bryn Mawr between Kedzie and Kimball. The initial impression was that the prices on the menu seemed a bit high given its location. And some dishes like hummus plate, which consisted of cut up carrots and cucumber with pita bread and a large spoonful of hummus, was not worthwhile at $14. Same goes for a bowl of Irish cabbage soup for $10. Having said, other items like chicken wings and burgers were quite delicious and were worth paying little more for them. Given their great beer selection and wonderful cocktails, it is worth a visit.“
“My first time here and it did NOT disappoint! Such a beautiful space.. warm and inviting. Staff & service friendly and efficient. Food was ? and drinks were so on point. An overall amazing experience. So much love!I give this place 5⭐️Jerry (the pigeon) gives it 5.5⭐️“
“My husband and I went to Matisse for Restaurant Week. The specialty cocktails and food are very good, with generous portions of food. The service is the best I have experienced in a long time, with the pacing of the food coming out being just right. Water always quickly refilled, the minute you look around like you need something, your server (or other staffer) is asking how they can help. The atmosphere is definitely loud. It is a small space and the tables are close, but it has a wonderful vibe and we spoke to the folks at our neighboring tables at bit. Highly recommend!“
“The food is consistently very good & fresh. The burgers are smaller than they used to be & more than a little pricey. The shrimp cocktail is very tasty with horseradish in the sauce. The french fries & coleslaw are also really good too.“
“My first visit there. Saw promo on TV. However, I was not aware that there was a cover charge. I assume coverage for the live entertainment. I enjoyed both the Irish band music and the Trinity Children Dancers. The food was right on point! Authentic Irish corn beef/cabbage. It was a bit crowded and noisy, but that was to be expected--it was St. Patrick's Day!“
“The Cauldron was one of the bars I was really intrigued to visit. It has such a unique concept and I loved how there wasn't anything like it back home. We didn't make a reservation due to the $20 fee online to make one and good thing we didn't! We were able to walk in and snag a table and enjoy our night, no charge added. We ordered the Phoenix Feather and loved how it tasted! We had a deck of cards so we played a couple games and enjoyed our drink of the night. We also had the Chicago City Pass so everything came out to only $8! Such a steal! You can also do a mixing class in a separate room which we wanted to do but it didn't work with our itinerary. So make sure to also check that out!“
“Came here on New Years Eve after a Google search in the area....thank you Google! The food, the service and everything was so good! We had the big charcuterie board for our appetizer and it was delicious. For our mains, we had the nachos (huge), the scallops, pork belly, salmon burger and grilled cheese. Everyone loved the food and we all left happy! If you're in the area, stop here, you won't be disappointed!“
