“I have been to this location a few times now, and the food is always out quick, hot, and fresh! The new building is nice and is a great addition to the area. My one and only complaint is that every time I do a mobile order they don’t give me any napkins. However, seeing as this is seeming to become the new industry standard it’s hard to fault them too hard for that.“

“We had our Christmas Dinner there. It is a very nice venue for our family to enjoy food, fun and bonding time. This is not a restaurant so they do not serve food, however there was ample space to bring your spread and lay it out beautifully. The ambiance was great and there was plenty of room. Also, ample parking and the venue was easy to find. It was my first time there and I would definitely enjoy returning there in the future.“

“Impeccably clean restaurant! The food is amazing and fresh. My Skillet was delicious as the fresh ingredients made the difference! Home made and not from a Sysco can! Entire staff was attentive to their tables. Debi was very nice and attentive.
The owner is friendly, and you can tell he appreciates his staff.

Took a while to get the food which was understandable given that I was seated along with five other groups at the same time. The bartender that waited on me was an absolute doll. She took great care of me. I got the twisted turkey sandwich and the rueben quesadilla. “Went here for the first time and what a treat! I love 50s stuff and this place is a hidden gem to me. I had an award winning experience from the minute we walked in. Total 50s decor and the aroma of fresh coffee and lively conversation was everywhere. The place is a bit small but so welcoming. They have tables and chairs and a counter to sit at. I felt like I took a step back in time. Love it!!!! I had a vegetarian skillet that was very delicious. The servers were excellent and so attentive to our needs. The place was extremely busy but was still working like a well oiled machine. Everyone was having a great time as I was looking about the room and enjoying everything the place had to offer. We will be going back again and can’t wait to try the other items they offer. Great job everyone!!!“

“Great quality food , the chef was very polite and cashier was very sweet. I had a chicken sandwich along with 6 buffalo wings with an order of sandwich to go for breakfast the next day and the meal was delicious! I will sure be coming here more often next time I’m visiting again from New York“

I had the corned beef benedict and not only was it the best corned beef I've ever had in my life, but the orange juice was amazing, the service was great, and the value was fabulous also! “Came in to the dining room to eat in around 8 or 8:30 p.m. Was not greeted by young woman at counter when I came in. Stood there several minutes waiting on husband and reading menu. Several people in the kitchen being loud and throwing things at each other. When he came in and we went to the counter she greeted us. Took our order. Pleasant enough. Another girl was wiping trays. We grabbed drinks. Area needed to be wiped down but the napkins, straws, lids, and ketchup area were all stocked. Went to dining room and had to go to 5 tables to find a clean one. Food came out quickly. They have changed their burgers. They are thin as paper. Like meat crepes. Seriously. Bacon was cooked the way I like it. Husband and I ordered the same sandwich, only he got a double. Apparently that changes the type of bun you get because mine was a regular hamburger bun wrapped in paper and his was a fluffy sandwich bun in a paper bowl. Receipt reflected we paid for two of the same sandwiches. So who knows the thought process there. Finished and dumped our tray. Didn't bother getting ice cream.“

“This is clearly one of the last diners in Blue Island or surrounding neighborhoods. It was SO nostalgic inside, right down to the kinda-padded seats on the booths. “I've been a customer of Mary's since she first opened, hobbling around on a leg scooter with an injured foot her first couple of weeks in business! She has developed Caffe Milan into an absolutely incredibly delicious, dependable deli & catering service! “A hidden little gem across eisenhower high-school it's a tiny nostalgic hole in the wall place and they made the space cute. I came with my husband the first time today for the morning of our wedding. The coffee was fresh, hot, and the right kind of strong. I asked for three cups lol. I got the eggs Benedict and the food didn't come out too quickly, cause if it does it is a sign the food may not be entirely made from scratch. But the chef a older Hispanic male was doing the cooking and you can see into his kitchen set up he makes everything from scratch and doesn't cut corners. My husband got the tacos. The eggs Benedict was honestly the best I had, he actually made scratch made hollandaise sauce and the egg a perfect poach, he even topped the Hollandaise with a whisper of nutmeg. And the hashbrowns and bacon were the perfect amount of crispy. My husband liked his tacos he said they were seasoned well and it came with homemade red and green salsa. My husband is picky and if he doesn't like something he won't take left overs home, but he took his home and ate them after the wedding cause he said it was tasty. I told the waitress that no joke this was the most delicious breakfast I had in a long time- cause it was! They close at 3 cause they are a breakfast and lunch spot but support thus local business cause they are a true hidden gem! Will definitely go back 😄“

“Well, if they cook your food properly, it's not bad... however, if they don't and you need to send it back to cook it (not a fan of raw burgers 🤷‍♀️) and it comes back the same way... be prepared to not eat and pay for the meal anyway. I asked for it to be removed from our bill (over $100 total so not just a couple things) and they removed it after a small "fight" but literally charged us for a basket of fries cuz I ate a few fries off my plate, I guess. they don't take care of their mistakes nor do they care to make things right. Lost future business, everyone at the table was shocked.“
