“I ordered the avocado chicken curry with rice! It was absolutely delicious. Very flavourful. Just perfect. My friend got the avocado mac and cheese. I tasted it and loved that too. The portions are large and we brought some home. We got the avocado cheesecake cup for desert and wow! Yummy yummy yummy. They have a kids menu too! I will be a regular customer in the future. You have to try this place!“

“I went in earlier for a little late breakfast. I definitely was not disappointed. I got a simple breakfast with some extra eggs and fries to go. Only thing that stood out to me was the building itself looked dirty, the windows needed cleaning, the parking lot was covered in trash and just debris from the street flying all around the floors and in the grass. I would probably come back to Denny's at some point, they had some cool new breakfast items that I still want to try.

Parking: Tons of parking.

Kid-friendliness: It's a Denny's. You can always come in and feed the whole family for a decent price.“

Staff was pleasant and cheerful, the order taker (I don't know his name unfortunately) was very helpful with explaining the different food items to me. The food itself is SOOO good and tasty. Will definitely be back again soon. Plus being within walking distance from a truck stop is very convenient for us truck drivers.“

I had the corned beef benedict and not only was it the best corned beef I've ever had in my life, but the orange juice was amazing, the service was great, and the value was fabulous also! “We went on a Friday late afternoon, I had the prime rib. It was not super tender but very very tasty. 2 others at our table had lake perch and said it was excellent. Soup and salad bar were very good, and prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be going back.“

Where you ask your significant other… “ what do you want to eat?” And they respond with “I don’t care just pick something.” Well that was the case with hotspot on Halsted. When I pulled up, I knew that it was a typical traditional food spot so I came in with the mindset of let me try something super traditional, so I looked at the menu and something peaked my interest, and it was the Mexican style hotdog, I wish I had a picture to show, but I devoured it so fast that I don’t think I had enough time to take it. It was so delicious My Wife ordered the burger and she enjoyed it thoroughly as for service. I do have to say it was better than I expected, and by My Wife being bilingual it made it super easy to order to get the service proper service. I definitely will stop by and grab the same thing I had before and maybe try something else but in my book“

“This Culvers has the best employees! They are always greeting us with a smile! My daughter cannot eat Gluten or Dairy and they always accommodate us with a Gluten Free Bun. Never a mistake! Best food and Custard!“

One thing though, people these days don’t train their children to sit down. I wanted to sit at a table to eat but it was really miserable to have people’s children stirring around. I don’t believe it is fair that I have to eat in the parking lot to have peace while I chew my food.“

“Upon entering the establishment, we were seated within three seconds before our butt hit the seats we were served with a fresh jar of water and coffee and our order was placed within three minutes, after a 7 to 10 minute wait our food arrived. It was average looking, but the taste made up for the presentation of the food. The service was great. I’ll waitress was nice polite and punctual. I do recommend this place to anyone who is looking for fast clean service with a smile.“

“A hidden little gem across eisenhower high-school it's a tiny nostalgic hole in the wall place and they made the space cute. I came with my husband the first time today for the morning of our wedding. The coffee was fresh, hot, and the right kind of strong. I asked for three cups lol. I got the eggs Benedict and the food didn't come out too quickly, cause if it does it is a sign the food may not be entirely made from scratch. But the chef a older Hispanic male was doing the cooking and you can see into his kitchen set up he makes everything from scratch and doesn't cut corners. My husband got the tacos. The eggs Benedict was honestly the best I had, he actually made scratch made hollandaise sauce and the egg a perfect poach, he even topped the Hollandaise with a whisper of nutmeg. And the hashbrowns and bacon were the perfect amount of crispy. My husband liked his tacos he said they were seasoned well and it came with homemade red and green salsa. My husband is picky and if he doesn't like something he won't take left overs home, but he took his home and ate them after the wedding cause he said it was tasty. I told the waitress that no joke this was the most delicious breakfast I had in a long time- cause it was! They close at 3 cause they are a breakfast and lunch spot but support thus local business cause they are a true hidden gem! Will definitely go back 😄“

“Cream of mushroom soup is good. Home made soups are good. The breaded tenderloin sandwich with mashed potatoes was good. Showed up a bit weird though. The breaded tenderloin was on top of the bread with mashed potatoes and gravy to the side. The entire dish was then covered in brown gravy. There was no way possible to make a sandwich, but I cut it all up together and ate it as a mix. It was still good.“

“We went there on Friday night . We wanted to try something different so I got the Friday Fish Fry with mashed potatoes and corn. My husband got the chicken and dumplings with mashed potatoes and the green beans. He loved his meal. My fish was good and the tartar sauce was delicious! My corn was not very warm but I ate them. The mashed potatoes were hard and cold. I told the waitress and she brought out a new one. We tried the sugar plum tea , it was very good! The service was good and we had a very nice experience. The last time we were there it was a disaster! But we decided to give them another try. Glad we did, it’s like they have new people working there and things were much better.
