“We tried shio and shoyu ramen, both were great based on your preference. I personally love beef broth ramen, which is rare to find in Chicago. Definitely would go back to try miso broth too. The soup was not too salty like most ramen shops, and the noodles were thin and still al dente, which is quite impressive. The portion size was perfect. I'm not a fan of the backless counter chairs. We went late afternoon on Saturday and the place was nearly full at an odd hour.“

I love that when I go there they have everything fresh and everything is in stock and if there’s a waiting time, it’s not more than 10 minutes and the cookies are amazing for dessert. I love that the food is gluten-free even the cookie!

“I really appreciate how clearly the vegan or vegetarian options are listed. They are able to make a few things vegan and a few things are already vegan. Their smoked tofu, although extra to add, is really good. Not bland and mushy like many omni places. They also have a happy hour 4-6 with a few vegan options! I got the chili peanut noodles with tofu and loved it. I also got the corn fritters to start, great just the dipping sauce isn’t vegan fyi.“

The food is also amazing bc it stays true to Korean food fused with fresh veges and both Korean and non Korean based like glass sweet potato noodles or salad or purple or white rice. The flavors are authentic to Korean food items also. Online you can ask for extra of one the free included sides which is nice. The sides are healthful and tastes great. The staff (diverse staff) and manager (who looked Korean to me which is nice to keep authenticity) are always cleaning...authentic to the Korean way of non stop standards of cleanliness. The bathroom is immaculate and non odorous. I got a glass noodle (which is made of sweet potato) base bowl with tofu (cooked perfectly with just right saltiness, broccoli, beans, steamed and fried potatoes, red cabbage, corn, kale, and KIMCHI of course! What Korean dish comes without kimchi and it's perfect inside bc I grew up adding kimchi to everything like ramen or pizza or soup. Also FREE miso soup w tofu and scallion. You can serve it yourself anytime. Drinks are creative and yummy. Thank you Mr Shin (owner of this chain) for creating such a great deal with yummy Korean foods that help me eat for balance and wellness. Thank you to the manager of this Des Plains location for doing an excellent job! If I could, I would eat here everyday. You won't be disappointed. Free and ample parking in the mall and it's right next to Panera. The food was presented in courses and is truly delicious: filling and hearty miso soup, the squid nigiri was very fresh and the texture was perfect, then I was presented with the avocado smoothie I ordered which had amazing consistency and will come back to enjoy again. At this point during my meal I felt as if I was being pampered and it reminded me of truly sweet moments I had with others, it literally brought tears of relief to my eyes.
