“Showed up for dinner with a 4yo and 1yo around 5pm. Sat us at the booth and had great options for kiddos, high chair for baby, and brought all the food out since we had limited time. Everything from the top tier caviar, lobster bisque, branzino, calamari, and even the chicken tenders tasted FRESH and delicious! Valet free but also plenty of parking! “I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“I went in there last week to buy jumbo shrimp $24.95 per LB. Is there new owners in this place. When I got home there was small shrimp with a couple of Jumbo...I should of took a picture. They use to put the fried shrimp in a wax lined brown bag...now they have a with paper container when I got home all was cold. Not wasting my time..“

First they were fast, second i love how they are split because that means they are cut and cleaned right and second the hush puppies were the perfect size I couldn't stop eating them. “Incredible food from Chef Gabriel. We were lucky enough to sit at the bar, and then found out that we were sitting next to the head chef! He recommended some dishes and they were amazing. The baked feta was really well balanced. The Octopus with the corn purée was the best octopus I have eaten in the U.S. the short rib was delicate and served with parsnip purée which was like a light mash. What a great flavour to accompany the beef! This is a must try and certainly the best food in this area by a long way.“

“Up until now, I have never wanted to try frog legs until I tasted theirs. Took my Mom to lunch and tried one of hers which turned into a few and now I'm hooked. They were moist, juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Very fresh and well sized. Didnt too much care for the chicken wing zings. They were too salty although fresh and crispy. Also had the seafood salad which was good. Been back again for the frog legs. FYI it is CASH ONLY. Great customer service which was a plus for me. So I didn't mind coming back considering I live no where near the restaurant.“

“I always enjoy Seafood Junction. I found I prefer the baked fish, I usually go with the catfish, with steamed veggies in butter sauce with a little of all the seasonings. I always get a side of the veggies to eat as another meal. The hard boiled eggs in butter, again with all the seasonings, are good as well.“

“Well, we just loved it! We expected a slightly more bustling urban Italian experience, but being a bistro, we got a more home kitchen feel. The prices were a little lower than expected, but typical with a dine-in Italian experience.

But the food! We have tried lots of Italian restaurants in Chicago recently. This was a standout. They offer a delicious homemade cornbread and feta spread upon arrival. We ordered the Gorgonzola fettuccine and the linguine putaneska and they were just to die for! The Gorgonzola was creamy and not overpowering. The putaneska was savory, salty in the right way, with lots of umami. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. And the carrot cake with cream cheese icing was delicious. The food was just wonderful.

Going along with the home kitchen feel, the server was casual and friendly. Lovely and personal attention is given. Please give this place a try. It is worth it.“
