“I always go to this Subway because they remember my order and my name every time I go in. The owners do a great job of keeping the restaurant clean. The veggies are always fresh as well as the bread. This location is much better than the one in Cary.“

“I have been to many McDonald's over the years. It's quick, convenient, and allows me to go about my day. I usually do not think about the service I receive at any McDonalds location; however this one is different. The reasons I didn't rate 5 stars is because the toast was barely toasted and a bit soggy, and the chicken tenders seemed very small for the price. Not to mention, half of the breading came off of one of my tiny tenders. Overall the flavor was decent. The Canes sauce is the only reason for the 4th star. Had a much better experience the time before. I'll have to give it another shot a different time.“

“We typically use the drive thru. We like your food, always fresh and tasty. Tonight I had the chicken avocado and strawberry salad. The salad was fresh, walnuts were sweet and crispy, dressing was very creamy. The only criticism I have is my chicken avocado and strawberry salad had no avocados. I do understand sometimes you can run out of ingredients or supply chain issues can interfere with menus. I would just ask to have this made known to us upon ordering or upon discovery, all in the interest of good customer service that you usually do deliver.“

“After a rough couple of weeks, I really needed a win — and Sticky Fingers in Algonquin delivered in a big way. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine Southern hospitality.

We ordered fried shrimp, wings, and fries, and I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve never seen shrimp or wings this big. The homemade breading was golden perfection — light, crisp, and some of the best I can remember. The sauces were spot-on, adding just the right kick, and the fries nailed that magic balance: crispy outside, fluffy inside.

The little touches here really add to the charm. A bucket of lollipops and a bottle of Frank’s Hot Sauce sit on every table, and the décor gives the whole place a playful, welcoming vibe. Their canned soda selection is a nostalgic throwback — every flavor I loved as a kid — and the staff was so attentive and warm. Big smiles! They truly care about your experience.

Prices are very reasonable, and the daily specials make it even better (Lobster Sundays, anyone?). I even overheard other diners promising to return — and same here. I told the staff to get to know my face, because I’ll be back often!

“Very good hot dog; they really grill it until it is hot. A "Shroomer" made as a grilled chicken sandwich is good. The burger is good and I have ended up getting a kid's meal last time so that I can try to eat less meat. I am more of a light weight person anyway. The inside of the restaurant could be renovated. They are still in the real old Kooker's building with the same old tile floor that Kooker's restaurant had when I was in high school. It is over 20 years later now. I have been willing to go back to Happy Burger to get meals. The people at the front desk are nice. I do admit, though, sometimes I end up getting a burger for $3 at fast food drive-throughs. Happy Burger (HB) burger tastes more like a fresh made juicy burger when compared to the McDonald's on the other side of the street. HB fries are not bad but could be better because when the HB fries come up and go into a bag, I have found they were a bit wet.Wet fries is a common imperfection with Chicago-style grills.“

“This is a new Culver's, still great food, in a modern package. You must try everything but for your first time go with a butter burger, cheese curds, and leave room for custard of your choice.

Next time (there will be a next time) look beyond a burger and try the cod, pot roast sandwich, or soup.

“Tried the new menu item Gyros. Hope they keep it on the menu. They were great. The Tzatziki Sauce which makes a Gyro was perfect with enough cucumbers. We now have a new place to go to for Gyros. Last, I had just about everything on their menu and everything is delicious.“

They were not edible, threw them away. I don't know what happened, they used to be really good.“

“Love this deli! Staff is courteous, professional and helpful- and they seem tp enjoy their jobs! The food is delicious- my favorite is the Memphian, a combination of ham, beef and turkey with cheese that all blends so well that it is fast becoming my go to dinner. “My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. I wish I lived a little closer because Culvers in McHenry would definitely be my go to place. Thank you for good food and the kindness you all showed.“

“Kooker’s is my favorite lunch time spot when I’m at the office for the day. They make their own natural cut fries that I love cooked well done. They have daily specials that are great deals, although all of their prices are fair. They have limited seating, but you can call ahead and pick up an order and I think they do delivery. When there, make sure you look at the specialty board that is to the right of the register. There you will find items that are not on the regular menu. Today I had the poutine with pulled pork—amazing. I highly recommend this locally-owned burger (and a lot more) joint.“
