“One of the best Bar & Grills in Illinois. Plenty of great food, great service, and excitable crowd. If you come at the right time, you can catch a band. Lots of TVs. Lots of seating.
Extra:
• Video gaming
• Claw Machines, some of which are not rigged
• Outdoors smoking area
The only logical complaint is the noise level, which can get a bit loud at times but not overly too much.
Overall 5 stars. Wonderful bar & grill.“

“I don’t know what going on at the Pump house but things seem to be heading south. During the last several visits the service has not been good, especially if you’re not sitting at the bar. I’m sure they don’t have enough help like everywhere else. The steak I had this evening was luke warm at best. It looked like it had been setting on the counter at the grill for quite a while before it was brought out to our table. It’s probably time to start spending our money somewhere else.“

“I've only been a few times but seems to be a fun and inclusive place to meet some interesting characters and play pool.
Oh and I'm sure other reviews have mentioned it but THE WINGS. Do not sleep on the wings their buffalo sauce is chefs kiss 😘
Edit: all the bartenders I have met have treated me with respect despite my weirdness, my kind of place“

“I do not recommend this place the first girl that waited on us today was nice. She was great asked us after 3 if she could check us out cause another girl was coming in we said yes. The other young lady asked my finance if he needed a beer and he said yes and we wanted a to go order also. That girl walked by us 3 times didn’t wait on us and threw her hair around like she didn’t give 2 shits.“

“Hello I need to know as soon as possible who came up with pairing the au ju juice with the philly cheese steak?? Because that was the best philly I've ever had and now I can't have it any other way. Food was top tier. Fresh hot and directions followed. Bread was buttery crisp on the edges and soft. Onions and peppers sautéed perfectly and meat and juice delicious. Whoever is the cook here, please give him a raise for the 4th. He deserves it.“

“I love locally owned places like this. They said they were known for their wings so that's what I ordered. I got the naked buffalo wings and they were tasty and CRISPY! I really liked the buffalo sauce they used, too. We also got the loaded fries and those were delicious. I love that they offer outdoor seating. Everyone who works here is really friendly, too. I would love to come here again!
Parking: They had a good size parking lot for a downtown area.
Kid-friendliness: They had giant jenga and connect four in the outdoor area.
Wheelchair accessibility: They had a wheelchair ramp for one of the doors.“

“I ordered online today and the food was ready quickly. Someone came out to my car as soon as I pulled up (receipt said kaydee I think). She was friendly and fast coming back with our order. Said they are always looking to improve and to let her know anything was wrong.
Food was all hot. My steak was cooked correctly and so was my husband’s burger. Their green beans were, surprisingly, so good and nicely seasoned. We got the 2 for $25, so we got the mozzarella sticks app. Also hot and plenty of marinara. A+ from this location today!“

“7 of us gathered from Illinois, Florida and Missouri for lunch. From the minute we stepped in the front door and were greeted. We felt special and like family. Such welcoming, friendly staff. Service was great. Food outstanding. The atmosphere was perfect for allowing us to reunite and catch up on lost time.“
