“Very welcoming, extremely helpful and pleasant staff, totally a dinner experience I would want to have again. Our server was cheerful and attentive the entire time, making sure we had everything we could possibly need. And considering Colleen seemed to be the only one on duty at the time, that made her even more impressive!
My steak was cooked to a perfect medium, the mashed potatoes were some of the best I've had in some time, and all in all if you can't tell I really enjoyed this.

“Scotty’s is an amazing place with an awesome atmosphere! The food is absolutely delicious especially the wood fired pizza and buffalo chicken dip. They have crazy good specials on game days with .75 cent wings and $20 buckets! It’s a perfect place to hang out with friends and family.“

“I hosted a last minute, 60+ person going away party for my kid's soccer coach and the staff and Barrel & Bru were outstanding to work with. They were not only accommodating but went above and beyond to make sure our large party was comfortable, well fed and always had a drink. The food was amazing (crinkle fries forever!!!!) and the service and hospitality was even better. We had a lot of kids with us and they were so patient and nice. AND they even made a custom (alcoholic and NA) slushy drink in honor of our coach. Truly cannot say enough amazing things about this great local business! We will be coming back often!“

“For a dive sports bar, The Franchise puts on a good feed. The offerings are your typical sports bar grub, but it's prepared a level above other sports bars.

My recent visit I enjoyed the Pork Loin Sandwich. It was a typical pork tenderloin sandwich, extending beyond the bun. The one here is served grilled, not fried like the majority of other restaurants. The seasoning and glaze were full of flavor. It surprised me with how juicy and tender it was. If you're a fan of Pork Tenderloin Sandwiches, this is a must try.

A previous visit I had one of the steak specials. I ordered the 16 oz Filet and giggled when it was served. I was given two 8 oz filets on my plate. I didn't care, it still was 16 oz. It actually worked out for me, I ate one and took the other home and had steak and eggs for breakfast the next day. For my two sides, I choose Baked Potato and Green Beans. Half of the potato went home and gave me American Fried Potatoes for breakfast.

They have a good variety of beers on draft, bottled and canned. In addition, they offer a full bar for adult beverages.

The service is hit or miss. It was obvious who was a regular by the attention and quality of service they received. They need to treat everyone the same, so the newer customers become repeat customers, too.“

“I ordered online and got errors stating problems with website on 12/16. I stopped by as it appeared that everything went through including the charge. I stopped by the store and the manager saw what I was seeing and worked with me to get my order processed (which was not easily resolved). He was very patient and helped get my order processed. Very nice, friendly, and helpful staff.“

“Went to watch Karaoke and sat at the bar. The bartenders were extremely busy but took great care of us. We had a party of 3 and ordered drinks and food. The food was excellent (pulled pork and two different wraps). The total price, including a $20 tip was $80. It definitely beats any fast food and most sit down restaurants. Will be going back.“

“I do not recommend this place the first girl that waited on us today was nice. She was great asked us after 3 if she could check us out cause another girl was coming in we said yes. The other young lady asked my finance if he needed a beer and he said yes and we wanted a to go order also. “Was at Edwardsville location on 3/5 for lunch. Don’t know the server’s name but she was terrific. Very genuinely friendly, not the fake kind a lot of servers portray. Food was fantastic and will make you want to return. The only complaint was the music, wasn’t the preferred old rock that was playing when first arrived.“

They had a few area Fast Food joints but instead of grabbing greasy food I decided to check this Applebees out. It has been about 8 years since I’ve stepped foot inside any Applebees. Great customer service from the bar, front desk, table staff to my waitress Courtney B! I decided to try the Crispy Bacon & Ranch Chicken sandwich w/Fries. I asked prior to ordering if I should get the grills or crispy & my waitress said she only had the Crispy & it was good. So, I went with it. It was that good! Great choice. When I’m in the area I most definitely will be back. Until then, I’ll be visiting my areas locations for now on. I’ve obviously been missing out!
