“The boba here is the best boba out of any place in the western suburbs. I have tried several places in Oakbrook, Bloomingdale, Lisle and none have the freshness and consistency of the boba here. In addition, I have found them to also be the BEST PRICE and highest quality. My fiancé and I come here once a month at least and more in the warmer weather. Can’t go wrong with the pink flamingo drink with 50% sugar and brown sugar tapioca. Wish they had a rewards program :)“
“Leanne specifically was very helpful very attentive and even though it was her job to do so it didn't look like she was at work.She looked as if she was genuinely enjoying what she was doing. I just stopped in to get out of the cold and wait for a ride which ultimately didn't even end up coming. Leanne was a welcome and refreshing breath of fresh air. She improved my experience immensely by offering me pastries, which I didn't even consider having given my pensive State: it being below freezing actually below 0 fahrenheit.It was an awesome experience thanks to Leanne.If I was less shy, I might have asked her out. But bothering genuine, beautiful, and kind souls at work just seems wrong (and weird if not initiated by them).I digress. “I stopped by the Glen Ellyn Metra train station for some coffee, and got a surprise. It was a real pleasure talking to Mary, who is not only selling great coffee and scones (more tasty and affordable than the chain stores), but working with other stakeholders in the space to keep the building clean while also maintaining a vegetable garden on the grounds surrounding the station. After talking with her, it's obvious to me that she is pursuing a labor of love, and she is a true inspiration. I can't think of a more pleasant way to board the train in the morning, or just hang out for a game of chess when things are quiet during the day. More towns should get creative like this and make these kinds of spaces more inspiring, rather than just a drab place to gather while in a rush to get somewhere else.“

Im not really a coffee drinker, so I only go to Starbucks about twice a year lol - once in the summer during which I get a Java chip Frappuccino with 2 pumps peppermint and extra Java chips, and once in the winter during which I get a peppermint hot COCOA. This is a great McDonald’s that is always quick and has wonderful kind service. This is my favorite one to go to. If you need extra sauce, they are always nice and give you the extra sauce that you need.“
“I see a lot of negative reviews about this location, but my children and I had such a wonderful experience recently that I had to share. I brought my children there for a special breakfast treat one morning and we were swiftly greeted and served by Beatriz. She was incredibly warm, kind, friendly, and patient as my little children, including a toddler, decided what they wanted to order. She interacted so sweetly with them, and even gave them extra treats. She made sure our orders were correct, double checking with the other person who made my coffee. She continued to show kindness and warmth for the rest of our visit and shared her enthusiasm about our return. I have to say this was the best interaction I have had at any DD ever, upstanding another favorite interaction at a DD (from a previous review of mine; I confess I have had many a DD visit in my life.) Beatriz is an absolute asset to your organization and I highly recommend and request that she be acknowledged for her professionalism and exceptional customer service, and be considered for leadership, promotion, and a raise as she deserves it. Beatriz, thank you for being the wonderful human being that you are. “We came here to warm up and get a midday snack since we were in the area. We came an hour before closing and there were still plenty of baked goods available. There was also plenty of seating and it was clean inside. I had a blackberry brownie and a blueberry basil matcha latte. I typically dislike sweet drinks so I was hesitant to order the latte. However, it wasn't overly sweet and the flavor was interesting (in a good way). The blackberry brownie was rich and also delicious. My child had a big chocolate chip cookie and devoured it instantly. I wish we came for lunch since there were intriguing menu items but we will be back if we are in the area!“
