“I've been going here for almost two years, it's always clean and everyone is super nice. every now and then I catch so called "important customers" being unnecessarily rude to the poor employees and threatening them with horrible reviews or calls to corp and that's just not fair. These are incredibly hard working people and they basically only have three people at a time even when they're crazy busy. each and every one of them deal with much more than they are being payed.Parking: front, side, and back parking available. however it can be hard after 4 pm because the restaurant next door shares these spots and opens at that time.Kid-friendliness: they are all extremely kind to children!“
“This afternoon after shopping at Pete's I stopped at this DD location. Drove to window after placing order. Presented a $20 and later offered .20 after seeing the total was $4.20. The gentleman just looked at me with no acknowledgement on his face so I thought he was listening to other drive thru orders. He wouldn't take the change so I figured since the register closed I'd confused him. As I attempted to talk to him, he would not look at me, turned his back on me, and walked away. As I kept saying Thank you, his co workers even tapped him letting him know I was talking to him. He continued to ignore me. Weird.“

“This place was wonderful! We had the pistachio and gold churro sundae with the cherry and vanilla swirl for the ice cream and it was so good! I can't wait to come back and try more flavors already! The inside was so cute too with lots of pink and flowers! The staff was also very welcoming and helpful for our first time dining in here. We will definitely be back! Best churros I've ever had!“
“What a gem. I had this restaurant on my list for a while and only managed to go there now.The food was amazing: fresh, to the point, nicely seasoned. We had a combo platter plus goat and all dishes were distinctly different.The server (who I assume was the owner) was very welcoming.My new happy place ☺️“
“This is my new favorite spot in La Grange! It is located east of Noodles and Co. on Calendar. It is quite small, but a great place to pick up healthy smoothies and bowls. Most things are dairy free, or vegan. I particularly love their soups! Try them out. The staff is also extremely friendly.“
“I am sharing this review on behalf of my mom who experienced the best service, tastiest hamburgers and freshly baked Lemon Blueberry Scones. She and her friends play cards every Saturday, most times after playing they go out for dinner; they have tried the location in Itasca for breakfast before cards, but they wanted to check them out afterwards for a burger. They called ahead to see what time they were closing; the person who answered said they were getting ready to close but offered to stay open to make some burgers for them, they placed their order ahead of time so not to keep the staff stay open any longer, when they arrived the burgers were coming off the grill. She commented how the burger was just the right size (she is not a fan of thick burgers), her friend asks if they had any Lemon Blueberry Scones available; they did not but had some scones prepared for baking in the morning and decided to bake off some for them as well. My mom purchased three! I believe the one who serviced them was one of the partners, she invited them to come play large enough to seat the teams and decks of cards nicely. Service like this goes way above and beyond the norm these days, she said she was going to tell her friends about this experience and are plan on meeting there for breakfast before playing cards next week. In this day and time, it is nice to see others care for our seniors with care and respect. It will go a long way... So, if you have never tried Joe Donut in Itasca for their cake donuts, or breakfast or even the hamburgers for lunch - this reviewer would recommend you do so... you will not be disappointed; especially when it comes to their service. “I wanted to send a HUGE shout out to Dion, general manager of the Oakbrook Terrace location. A few weeks ago I put in a large order for my daughter's birthday party. I was expecting to have around 72 donuts and two boxes of coffee delivered at 9am on a Saturday. Apparently there was an issue or glitch of some kind with the third party who manages online ordering/delivery. I received an email at 4am the morning of my daughter's party that my order was cancelled as a result. I called the Oakbrook Terrace location at 6am in a panic and Dion saved the day! He put in my order manually, ran the payment without issue, and got the order out for a 9:00am delivery. Not only that but he was kind, understanding, and very tolerant of a woman panicking about donuts at 6am. Thank you, thank you Dion!Kid-friendliness: The mini-donuts are perfect for little hands.
