“Nic Place to stop on a hot day for a cold beer. One of the cleanest bars I have seen in my travels. Even the restrooms. Fast service & the food is good. It can get noisy on weekends but if your looking for a quiet place to drink, come during the week”

“We ordered our holiday meal from Mission BBQ and picked it up on Christmas Eve. I can’t say enough positive about my experience. The person who took my order prior to the holiday was so nice and made sure they hadn’t over committed on carry out orders for that day. When we picked up, it was ready, the folks working were so friendly and they even carried it out to the car for us! The food was amazing and the service was even better. Only suggestion is to allow people to tip with a credit card. I didn’t have sufficient cash to tip the staff like I would have wanted to. They’re awesome and deserve it!”

“What an iconic place. Off the beaten path. The food was delicious, our waitress was exceptional. And the place was packed. Will define going back here again.Parking: Plenty of parking but it's a gravel parking lot with not of rust and potholes.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is on the 1st floor with no steps to get in. There were a number of people with walkers who had no problems with the parking lot being uneven. Handicapped stall in the ladies room.”

“SO excellent! My wife and I were greeted with a smile upon entry. The host was very kind and did an excellent job explaining how the menu works and where to get your ingredients. The price was extremely fair as it's all-you-can-eat. The quality of the vegetables was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the pork and seasoned shrimp as well. The sauce bar was also extremely versatile and well stocked. Probably some of the best hot-pot around.We will be back for sure!”

“My family and I love Vextor!! We visit several times a week. We love the milk teas and refreshers. Love the boba and the jellies! So many options. The mini eggrolls are great. You can choose your sweetness level and ice level! The staff are awesome too! So friendly and helpful in explaining menu items. I have had boba drinks from other places and they just don’t compare. My fave is the passion fruit lychee milk tea with 25 percent sugar and the Thai Hurricane with brown boba. I also love all of the refresher tea flavors with crystal boba.”

“Where do I start?Everything was fantastic! That is a hard pitch to make, and probably harder for you to catch, but it is 100% legit! The food...authentic and great tasting. The mixed drinks from the bar...spot on and delicious! The service...attentive, friendly and impeccable!I can honestly say, it was the best dining experience I have had in several years. We had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. They were great! I had a cup of a homemade spinach artichoke soup and it was awesome. I ordered the shepherds pie, and it was the best I have had from any restaurant. The portions were generous, and the food was fantastic.As far as service goes... a big shout out to Jake! He was on top of everything. Friendly attitude, made conversation, had great recommendations, and was just a pleasure to interact with. He made sure we were happy with our food, that we had everything we needed and made us feel like the only customers he had to wait on in a very full restaurant.Every server was hustling and tending to their tables intently. The entire staff was just flowing the night we went in there. Even the bussers, and runners were on top of their game.This was our first time here while traveling through, and I will say that if we are EVER traveling through again, this will be the ONLY stop we will make for food! Like I told the manager, the town is lucky to have them, and I only wish we could be so fortunate as to have a place like theirs nearby to where we live.Bring them your business, enjoy their food and hospitality and you will have a phenomenal dining experience!”

“We had not been here before but made reservations for tonight. I had the pear salad which was simply delicious. Then I had gnocchi carbonara which was also excellent. My wife had a salad with spiced cauliflower and figs which she thought was wonderful, followed by heated brie with cherries and crostini. It was amazing. Amy, our server, was helpful with my wife's choices (Laura is vegetarian). The only downside was a large table behind us was very loud, possibly from too much alcohol, and the piped-in music wasn't what we consider appropriate for dinner and a quiet conversation. It also was too loud. But we'll be back; I want the pear salad again and a main course of bone marrow and short rib marmalade. Dinner was $30-50 per person.3/17/2024: Please note that the online dinner and brunch menus are out-of-date, so if there's something you want to eat, you ought to phone to find out if it's still available. We went for brunch today, and I wanted the posole, but it's no longer on the brunch menu. My wife had the gluten free pancakes, but the first was wasn't cooked through. However, the chef immediately made another entire order, and Laura was happy. I had the 3-course brunch ($30): braised bacon in maple syrup and cracked pepper (excellent), shrimp & grits (rich and flavorful), and key lime pie (delicious). Kari, our server, was top notch. The most disappointing thing was that a guest couple didn't show up (they forgot to mark their calendar).Luminary has interesting dishes with unique touches. I've had shrimp & grits dozens of times, but never like this with garlic butter, jalapenos, and a sunny side up egg over large prawns. It may be the best I've ever eaten, better than in New Orleans or Charleston. The pie had lime zest in the mix and not the usual almost jelly-like texture. Brunch was terrific, and we'll be back.Brunch was $20-30 per person. The music track was really bluesy which really matched the brunch dining.”

“Food was delicious, fried rice very flavorful and every bite of steak was better than the last. The chef was very polite and his dedication to service made me enjoy the food more even if it did take longer than typical fast food (which should be expected with the types of dishes here). The overall ambiance was the mall food court which at the time was fairly empty but it's kept clean and I was able to enjoy my meal in peace. Will be my go to foodie spot at the mall!”

“Great food. Nothing like it in springfield. Mexican food is a dime a dozen around here. This is more south American food. The drink menu was a little limited. Lack of red bull for one thing ? ? ?. And they really need a bigger location. Could easily pack something 3 times it's size with the type of food their serving. “This place is awesome, totally authentic cuisine, great atmosphere and the margaritas are on point. There are so many mexican restaurants in Springfield but this is by far the best. Migues goes above and beyond to make sure everything from the food to the service is exceptional. Live music on thursdays and fridays, reasonable prices and fast service make El Arriero the best. If you have not been there yet you really must make it a point to go! When you get there tell Miguel Joe sent you!”

“What I didn't like the people that we were sitting next too by the band we're smoking cigarettes I thought they had too smoke outside or on the porch.i didn't want too smell that all night. The waitress should tell them no smoking.i get really bad migraines.that dance on the ledge was nice but what if they would of fell. Your food good.service excellent I just think there should be no smoking sign up only on the porch why do I have too smell that.be sick the next Day”

My New York Strip was seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. The desserts are great and the service top notch. If you’ve never been or it’s been a while, you need to head out to Mariah’s.”

“They have the best flavors of ice cream. Authentic Mexican snacks that you can add to your sundae. But their Popsicles are the best ever. So many wild flavors and my favorite so far is avocado. They have acai bowls smoothies churro bowls you name it. Might have to stand in line but it's by far the best place in town to satisfy your sweet tooth.”

“Came here with friends intrigued by the all-you-can-eat sushi option. Do be aware of the rules for this option! Every piece of sushi you do not eat will cost an extra dollar on your final bill. I believe this is a very fair rule, and likely prevents people from over-ordering food and wasting kitchen resources. Great food and absolutely lovely staff!”

“Such a nice friendly establishment with great staff and good tasting food. I've been going here for at least 14 years. Everything I down near Springfield Illinois I stop and have a corn dog.The corn dogs are made fresh to order in their batter and deep fried. It's not the frozen store bought. These are freshly made to order with a thick corn meal breading around the hot dog. Ask for mustard. Best way to eat a corn dog!Their fries are fresh cut with the skin and skinny fries. I like the fries but the basket is way too many fries. If you eat a lot of fries or there's more than 2 in your party then get the basket or if you want the best deal for the price then get the basket.”

“Extremely hospitable staff and clientele. They even warmly welcomed my dog. If I was a local, this would easily be my regular hangout to enjoy delicious beers while catching up with friends or watching a game (let's go Red Wings!). They had 15 of their own brews, including the two IPAs I enjoyed, and several guest ciders. There was really a brew for every palate. I look forward to my next visit when passing through town.”
