I went in knowing zero about Burmese cuisine, but was walked through a series of dishes that have become instant classics that I crave: tofu gyaw, the tea salad, kyarzan thoke, chicken mango, and the goat curry. Do not sleep on this place! The food is fresh and meticulously prepared. The flavors are incredible and the portions filling. The staff are warm and engaging. 10/10 across the board.“

“Really loved our experience at Kaido. The vibe is chill but upscale, and the interior is beautifully done. I especially appreciated how comfortable the chairs were at the sushi bar, it made a difference!

We ordered a bunch of different dishes, and everything was delicious. The hand rolls were a standout, super fresh fish and really well made. Some of the dishes had unique flavors you don’t usually find elsewhere, which was a nice surprise.

You can tell the chef/owner is very hands-on, and the sushi chefs were quick, our food came out fast and looked amazing. The service was also top-notch. The servers were super attentive, constantly checking in, refilling water, and clearing empty plates without us even asking. Everything just felt effortless on our end.

The people working there are extremely nice and helpful. My coworker doesn’t know much about Indian food so she had a lot of questions. They were patient and answered all of the. The owner came to our table both times we were there to ask how things were. It is a place that you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We are already planning our next visit.“

“Hi View will always hold a special place in my heart. My husband has been taking me here for nearly 10 years, and he has been going since long before that. I’ve never had a dish here I don’t like. My favorite things from here are the soups (specifically the cream of chicken rice and French Onion) and the chopped steak breakfast with chocolate chip pancakes. Their pancakes are the BEST ever and I swear by that.
The servers are extremely kind and always interact with regulars. When I was on a liquid diet prior to and after abdominal surgery, they were kind enough to strain soups for me so I could still have something to enjoy. They take care of you like family and that’s why I’ll always support Hi View.

“I had such a fantastic experience at Ethio Beans! If you love bold flavors, rich traditions, and warm hospitality, you need to check this place out. We started with sambussa, which came with a flavorful dipping sauce (I think it was awaze), and it was delicious! For our main meal, we got two veggie combos with injera, misir wot (spiced lentils), alicha wot (mild stew), gomen (collard greens), and cabbage, plus a side of alicha potatoes with carrots. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and the misir wot was my favorite! We nearly finished the whole platter, but what we took home was just as good the next day. One of the best parts of the experience was the Ethiopian coffee, which they served with burning incense—not only did it smell amazing, but it was also the best coffee I’ve ever had. I also ordered Ambo water, and the owner smiled and said, “Ah, you know!” which made me feel like I really knew what I was doing. 😆 They also have a small shop next door full of Ethiopian spices, groceries, and traditional servingware, which was such a cool surprise! If you’re looking for incredible Ethiopian food and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend Ethio Beans!
