“This place was great! We went here after a hike at Starved Rock. The atmosphere was very cozy and we were seated right away. The drink cups were very cute!! We all got waters and my brother got an orange juice.
The salad bar was awesome. Delicious bread and such a huge variety or toppings!! Then we got calamari as an appetizer which was nice and crispy. I got the chicken Oscar which was nice and crispy and the crabs in the sauce were great. The fried chicken was good and the fish and chips were really really delicious. The ribs were a little dry but still good. I would definitely recommend!“

“I had lunch with some friends at Berta's and it was great. The atmosphere, the service, and the food was all great. I had the cod sandwich with cole slaw and it was very good. The fish was crunchy (not greasy) and was a delight. Cole slaw was fresh and tasted great. Our waitress was very helpful and checked on us to be sure we had everything we needed. The gyro sandwich, the gyro wrap, believe it or not the liver and onions are amazing too. The owner is generally always there. And they just hired a new waiter Nico - she is absolutely amazing. Shes super detailed oriented and actually loves what she does and it shows. We can't wait to eat here again.“
