“We loved the simple perfection of the sandwiches here. They don’t get too fancy with extra toppings or combinations, but the quality and selection is perfect. They have a classic array of sandwiches to choose from, and the 3 that we tried were great! The potato salad was also a nice compliment to the meal. My favorite sandwich that we tried was the Tommy. It was pretty busy so we had to have take out, but the food was still great.“

“It took us a while to be able to snipe a reservation and I can certainly see why they need them for dine in. They do not have a lot of tables at all. The food and drinks are absolutely amazing. The service was attentive and prompt. Be careful though since they don't have a lot of tables they do rely on people respecting the allotted time for their reservations. I'd probably do to go more just because the food is so very good and I don't necessarily need a sit down experience. I can't wait for them to move to tower grove east because then they'll have more tables.“

“Without a doubt the best brewery in STL. Very English-style beers that are sessionable and top-notch. Do you know how to tell this place is proper? They have 1-2 beers ON CASK!!! You can barely find that in the US. When we have visitors this is the brewery to take them to. Also, you can get a half-pint for exactly half the price! That is so unbelievably awesome and rare these days.“

“Awesome food, it was my first time ever hearing about and trying alligator cheesecake, but it is one of my foods now. Great service. The band that began playing around 8:30pm sounded like it was going to be a great time, but it was unfortunately time for us to leave. Only knock against it is the table we were sat at was directly under a heater, so we were all sweaty and felt we were getting slow cooked.“

“We were in town (from the Twin Cities) for the 2025 President's Day Classic, and had Hogtown Smokehouse cater a team (and parents) dinner for 30 in our hotel. Rico was fantastic in helping us out. Quick to respond to calls and emails. Gracious, and just wonderful altogether... and that's just the service. The food? The empty pans, told the story. Brisket, Turkey and Pork for meats. Mac & cheese, potato salad and beans for sides. EVERYTHING was amazing! I never right reviews, but Rico and staff deserve this one. If you're reading this, don't hesitate to give them a try. Thanks again, Rico!“

“A GREAT PLACE TO SIT AND CHILL KIND OF GIVES YOU THE '80S '90S NOSTALGIC VIBE. I LIKE TO GO ON FRIDAYS BECAUSE THE PIZZA IS LESS EXPENSIVE AND IT'S ALWAYS FRESH. PLENTY OF VIDEO GAMES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A PLUS VERY FRIENDLY. I LOOK FORWARD TO GOING HERE ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON WITH MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. “The vegan pizza is SO DANG GOOOOOOD, I never thought I’d be able to have a good slice of NY style vegan pizza and Pizza Head definitely proved me wrong. Everything from the vegan pepperoni to the cheez sauce & crust - tastes like the real thing and my pizza dreams have again been reborn. The RANCH IS SO GOOD TOOOOO. And the vegan parm is such a great touch. Super friendly/helpful customer service as well and I love a good lowlight, chill atmosphere. 10/10 would highly recommend and plan to come back at least once a month to treat myself to a whole vegan pie. I recommend getting half vegan Mozz and half vegan cashew cheese - both are equally delicious. I am so impressed with this place, thank you Pizza head - you have a loyal customer in me 😊🙏🏻“

“Okay, so not what I expected the food was great but the Cuban Frita was not “ a cuban frita” but a basic American sausage sandwich with frita topping’s and not chorizo. As a cuba-rican chef from Miami I was not very impressed with this imposter frita. Taste was good anyhow. However, 10 points to Gryffindor, for the shift manager saving us from an unhoused debacle that was taking place in front of the door when we arrived. 😅“

“A cool little dive bar with pinball machines. On a Sunday night they seem to have some league whereby people play them all night so normal patrons can’t use them. It’s a pretty cool place though, and if you can find a night where you can play pinball or just listen to the jukebox, I’d definitely recommend it. Tiny chef is excellent also and they sell food at a window inside the bar.“

“My husband and I were on an anniversary road trip from Tennessee and decided to come to St Louis to see the Arch way. We decided to eat at Ace’s Smokestaq for an early dinner! Antonio and his family are so amazing and the food was absolutely on point! We felt like family! “I went to Pizzeoli last night with a group of friends and had an amazing dining experience. We started off with the Deep Fried Chanterelles and Chili-kissed Garlic Knots - the chantrellles were delicious and came with a chili ranch sauce that I would love bottled for home use. The garlic knots were a cut above your normal pizza place fare - melted in my mouth and garlic to butter proportions were perfectly balanced. It should be noted that their drink menu is extensive (along with their pizza menu - so many great options!). I chose the Athletic Cerveza - a great Non-alcoholic beer that ranks as a personal fav. I also like that Pizzeoli had multiple NA options as a non-drinker. On to the main course - my group chose the Andy (a current special with white sauce and mushrooms), the Lumberjack Snack (pep and bacon on red sauce) and the Meatball pizza (as recommended per their chef - meatballs on white sauce!). All three were delicious and cooked to perfection - the right amount of bubbles in the perfectly thin curst. I kept trying to choose a favorite and couldn't decide - would personally recommend a white sauce pizza but the red was also awesome! The grand finale was a banana split dessert pizza and ice cream sandwiches. A hot dessert pizza with the perfect cool toppings, I'd stop in just for an after meal treat some time. The ice cream sandwiches were delectable and fun to share with the table too. The atmosphere of Pizzeoli transported me to a simpler time when going to a neighborhood pizza place meant a friendly staff, unique decorations (check out the light shades over the tables!) and quality craftsmanship. A new favorite - highly recommend!“

“Got one combination with moo goo Gai Pan spicy with white rice and egg roll and love everything! my son got the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and Rangoon. The rice and Rangoon weren't my favorite but not bad. But as for the service the people there we're very friendly so would definitely return.“
