“The best part of traveling for work is stumbling onto local spots like this one. Can beers as low as $2.50, live music, good food, extra points for atmosphere. It has that drinking on the dock at the fishing camp feel.

Got the Cuban. Not the best I've ever had but still better than most.

“I won’t say I don’t recommend as we’ve been there a couple times before and had a great experience! Last night neither of us enjoyed what we ordered, our fault, we both went against what we were going to originally order….we ate it, it’s fine, you live and learn. Our waitress is what left a bad taste. It’s like she instantly had something in her head about us or we weren’t one of her regulars that she had to cater to as she was sitting, laughing and chatting with those around us. Not friendly, short answers and would set our drinks down after being told thank you and just walk away. The only time there was even a hint of friendliness is when it came time to pay.“

After running everywhere yesterday to try to find it, with no luck, as a last ditch effort I went in to Annie’s. They did not have it on the menu but Emily (the owner) was so considerate when she heard what was happening that she decided to attempt to make it on her own for me to pick up today. She told me everyone said it was delicious who tried it. Unfortunately, my brother will likely not be able to taste it as he is relatively unresponsive within a very short 24 hour period. The service, the support, them going above and beyond from what I could have ever dreamed of is absolutely beyond words. I’m sure Tom would have loved it. Thank you, Emily! “Thanks to Edleys on Woodland for their kindness today! My young neice accidentally left her small handbag on the bench, and we were over two hours away when she realized that she'd left it. I called the restaurant and offered to send payment for shipping if they would mail it. They plan on mailing it to her Monday...no charge, compliments of the restaurant! They didn't have to do that, but it is so appreciated, and our food and service were great too. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you Edleys BBQ!!“

“This has to be the smoothest creamiest ice cream I have had. Everything is fresh at this one of a kind shop. The lady at the drive through window was really nice. I got a small strawberry banana sundae and it was fully loaded with whole fresh fruit. I could not stop myself from eating it all before taking a picture. They give you a sizable portion as well.

Note: They only take cash so be prepared.

And, if your car sits low to the ground go through the drive through, avoid the side parking lot as there is a sizable divot where there is road access.“

“We live 2 hours north and were in town for a Band Competition, we stopped in to eat. Our server Jordan was fabulous. With it being our first time there the manager sent us some free deviled eggs to sample! Highly recommend the deviled eggs, so tasty! They were a little busy with several parties and took a little longer to get our food but our server was attentive and apologetic for the wait. We were not mad or upset about the wait, totally understand when it’s busy. The manager gave us a free dessert for the wait. The customer service is top notch and they seem to care about the customers. And a plus that the food is delicious!!!! Highly recommend!! We will def be back!“

“wish there was a maybe recomemd button.. Same teen boy every time we visit, and unfortunately, the same issue each time. Our first visit, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and received a BLT. On the second visit, I specifically ordered a bacon cheeseburger plain — only bacon and cheese — but by my third bite, it was full of ketchup, mustard, and pickles. Today was our third visit, and I ordered two chili dogs with no cheese (I even repeated it twice). Yet both came out covered in cheese. This could be serious if someone was not able to have something or allergic. The first time, I thought maybe he was new. The second time, I was having a rough day and tried to laugh it off. But this time, we were on a time crunch, and having to wait for the order to be remade was really frustrating. I truly don’t like to complain because the food itself is great — the strawberry milkshakes and ice cream are amazing, and the rest of the menu is usually really good. But the service has been consistently poor every time we’ve come. It’s hard to believe ours is the only order that’s been rung up wrong. Either this young man needs more training, shouldn’t be on the register, or maybe just isn’t a good fit for that position. We’ve never been offered a refund, a remake without the wait, or even an apology — and that’s disappointing for an otherwise great place.“

“Let's start with the food, when we went it was early afternoon when most places haven't finished cooking today's food and you get leftovers warmed up in a microwave, NOT HERE! Wife got the wings, I got a 2 meat platter with pulled pork and grilled shrimp. Both of us were impressed, the food was outstanding and the staff was top notch! “This is by far my favorite place to get lunch even with all of the other options in the Glen Carbon/Edwardsville area. I am in this establishment at least 3-4 times a week and while there are other options closer to my office in Maryville, I will make the drive not just based on the food but the service as well. All of the employees are amazing. Pheobe, Harris, Matt and Kalynn know my order by heart and start making it as soon as they see me walk in the door. Thank you for all you do and keep up the great service!“

“I am new to the area, so I had my first experience with Global Tap recently. I will definitely go back again the food was really good and you can sit outside , but I have to say the service kind of stunk. Server never really checked in, drinks were not refilled etc. I think our food sat in the window for a while because it was a little cold. The food still tasted great to me but that was disappointing. They were not really busy so not sure why such slow service. I will go back, could have just been an off day.“
