“We live 2 hours north and were in town for a Band Competition, we stopped in to eat. Our server Jordan was fabulous. With it being our first time there the manager sent us some free deviled eggs to sample! Highly recommend the deviled eggs, so tasty! They were a little busy with several parties and took a little longer to get our food but our server was attentive and apologetic for the wait. We were not mad or upset about the wait, totally understand when it’s busy. The manager gave us a free dessert for the wait. The customer service is top notch and they seem to care about the customers. And a plus that the food is delicious!!!! Highly recommend!! We will def be back!“

“Chef Travis is an amazing cook by far! We went once and he was sold out of the birria tacos, stopped by last night to catch the and ended up getting a special for the bourbon chicken he had. The sauce was so flavorful and the chicken was so tender. He shows us such great hospitality & is an amazing cook. “Their loaded potatoe soup is more like a loaded mash rather than a soup, although really yummy. I wanted to order a sandwich but noticed the sandwich assembly station from the register and noticed the kitchen staff wearing no gloved making sandwiches. I would fix this just to instill a better idea of cleanliness.
My first time coming the staff were extremely rude and rushed us to order with an empty restaurant. This time was slightly better.“

“Ummm ok, we could not breathe when we left because of how much we ate. Everything was SO delicious. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly (shout out to Alex!!!). It was a cozy environment and felt like I was eating at an auntie’s house. This is going to be a spot I crave and will frequent from now on. 10/10 highly recommend!“

“Normally, I support your business but you guys are going to make someone sick. I just got a box of chicken that could only eat the outside because, it's not done. I took a bite of a leg and it tasted funny. So, I looked at it and it was red and pink. gross If, I get sick you'll be hearing from me. I'm so disappointed“

“The Cabin is a great location for a good meal and some local entertainment. There are plenty of TVs for watching sports. There are three different seating areas inside, screened deck and outside deck. There are a few games setup for playing bags or bocce ball.“

Last night neither of us enjoyed what we ordered, our fault, we both went against what we were going to originally order….we ate it, it’s fine, you live and learn. Our waitress is what left a bad taste. It’s like she instantly had something in her head about us or we weren’t one of her regulars that she had to cater to as she was sitting, laughing and chatting with those around us. Not friendly, short answers and would set our drinks down after being told thank you and just walk away. The only time there was even a hint of friendliness is when it came time to pay.“

“This was my third time at Bobby’s Frozen Custard, and I’m officially hooked! I’ve tried the Hard Rock Cashew and a couple of other flavors absolutely amazing every time. The custard is rich, creamy, and just melts in your mouth.

The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. It’s no surprise why people from all over Edwardsville and the surrounding area love this place it really is something special.

If you haven’t been to Bobby’s yet, do yourself a favor and go. You won’t regret it!“

The rice and Rangoon weren't my favorite but not bad. But as for the service the people there we're very friendly so would definitely return.“

“I hosted a last minute, 60+ person going away party for my kid's soccer coach and the staff and Barrel & Bru were outstanding to work with. They were not only accommodating but went above and beyond to make sure our large party was comfortable, well fed and always had a drink. The food was amazing (crinkle fries forever!!!!) and the service and hospitality was even better. We had a lot of kids with us and they were so patient and nice. AND they even made a custom (alcoholic and NA) slushy drink in honor of our coach. Truly cannot say enough amazing things about this great local business! We will be coming back often!“

“My brother is terminally ill. One of two things on his bucket list were to 1) go deep sea fishing - which can’t happen, and 2) try Gooey Buttercake Ice Cream. After running everywhere yesterday to try to find it, with no luck, as a last ditch effort I went in to Annie’s. They did not have it on the menu but Emily (the owner) was so considerate when she heard what was happening that she decided to attempt to make it on her own for me to pick up today. She told me everyone said it was delicious who tried it. Unfortunately, my brother will likely not be able to taste it as he is relatively unresponsive within a very short 24 hour period. The service, the support, them going above and beyond from what I could have ever dreamed of is absolutely beyond words. I’m sure Tom would have loved it. Thank you, Emily! There are still angels on this earth. And my daughter is absolutely addicted to your custard, and has been for four years!“

“Thanks to Edleys on Woodland for their kindness today! My young neice accidentally left her small handbag on the bench, and we were over two hours away when she realized that she'd left it. I called the restaurant and offered to send payment for shipping if they would mail it. They plan on mailing it to her Monday...no charge, compliments of the restaurant! They didn't have to do that, but it is so appreciated, and our food and service were great too. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you Edleys BBQ!!“
