“I will give this restaurant 5 stars. Thank you for a great Greek salad. And cinnamon roll, too. May I suggest that you have some smaller dessert items in the 3 dollar range. The big cinnamon roll for almost 7 dollars tasted good but I wish I had a smaller 3 dollar option for my budget. We are all so watching our dollars these days!“

The sauce was so flavorful and the chicken was so tender. He shows us such great hospitality & is an amazing cook. “Been driving passed this place for 5 years on my way home from work. What I learned is I been missing out for the last 5 years 😭. Just got 1lb of pulled pork and some sauce. 🔥 I purposely don’t order pulled pork at restaurants because it’s always dried out. Now I finally have a place to get delicious pulled pork. Does recommend! Can’t wait to try the other stuff!!“

“We live 2 hours north and were in town for a Band Competition, we stopped in to eat. Our server Jordan was fabulous. With it being our first time there the manager sent us some free deviled eggs to sample! Highly recommend the deviled eggs, so tasty! They were a little busy with several parties and took a little longer to get our food but our server was attentive and apologetic for the wait. We were not mad or upset about the wait, totally understand when it’s busy. The manager gave us a free dessert for the wait. The customer service is top notch and they seem to care about the customers. And a plus that the food is delicious!!!! Highly recommend!! We will def be back!“

“Great little gem in the heart of Alton. We brought our group of friends here for a nice dinner after spending the day in Grafton. Service was outstanding. Food was high end, beautifully plated and delicious.

“Their loaded potatoe soup is more like a loaded mash rather than a soup, although really yummy. I wanted to order a sandwich but noticed the sandwich assembly station from the register and noticed the kitchen staff wearing no gloved making sandwiches. I would fix this just to instill a better idea of cleanliness.
My first time coming the staff were extremely rude and rushed us to order with an empty restaurant. This time was slightly better.“

“I won’t say I don’t recommend as we’ve been there a couple times before and had a great experience! Last night neither of us enjoyed what we ordered, our fault, we both went against what we were going to originally order….we ate it, it’s fine, you live and learn. Our waitress is what left a bad taste. It’s like she instantly had something in her head about us or we weren’t one of her regulars that she had to cater to as she was sitting, laughing and chatting with those around us. Not friendly, short answers and would set our drinks down after being told thank you and just walk away. The only time there was even a hint of friendliness is when it came time to pay.“

Their margarita selection is seriously impressive! The table favorite was definitely the pineapple coconut margarita.

“My brother is terminally ill. One of two things on his bucket list were to 1) go deep sea fishing - which can’t happen, and 2) try Gooey Buttercake Ice Cream. After running everywhere yesterday to try to find it, with no luck, as a last ditch effort I went in to Annie’s. They did not have it on the menu but Emily (the owner) was so considerate when she heard what was happening that she decided to attempt to make it on her own for me to pick up today. She told me everyone said it was delicious who tried it. Unfortunately, my brother will likely not be able to taste it as he is relatively unresponsive within a very short 24 hour period. The service, the support, them going above and beyond from what I could have ever dreamed of is absolutely beyond words. I’m sure Tom would have loved it. Thank you, Emily! There are still angels on this earth. And my daughter is absolutely addicted to your custard, and has been for four years!“

“I am new to the area, so I had my first experience with Global Tap recently. I will definitely go back again the food was really good and you can sit outside , but I have to say the service kind of stunk. Server never really checked in, drinks were not refilled etc. I think our food sat in the window for a while because it was a little cold. The food still tasted great to me but that was disappointing. They were not really busy so not sure why such slow service. I will go back, could have just been an off day.“

“Thanks to Edleys on Woodland for their kindness today! My young neice accidentally left her small handbag on the bench, and we were over two hours away when she realized that she'd left it. I called the restaurant and offered to send payment for shipping if they would mail it. They plan on mailing it to her Monday...no charge, compliments of the restaurant! They didn't have to do that, but it is so appreciated, and our food and service were great too. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you Edleys BBQ!!“
