We went to go and get our order and they had a huge slice of cheesecake waiting for us along with the tip in cash we had put on our order. “We actually had a fantastic time at Broadway oyster bar, which we always do. You always accommodate my wheelchair at the front table, which gives me easy access in and out since it is quite a truck to the bathroom because of having to leave the building and re-entering, but I don't mind that your venue is very much worth it. The food was fantastic last night. I had a Caesar salad and the rest of my party had full meals, but that was the best Caesar salad. I think I've ever had in the band LAKA of course is the absolute best even if she is one of my closest friends“

Our table enjoyed gumbo, shrimp and grits, and beans-and-rice dishes, along with excellent wine. We were there on a Thursday, when ambient noise was lower, so the music was a little loud for our table conversation, but we took dessert to go and thoroughly devoured that too. “We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.“

“We came into Charlie Gitto’s on the Hill with no reservation, to celebrate my birthday. There was a short wait for seating but we got drinks and were checked on during our wait. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable with pairing drinks with food. The lobster ravioli and manicotti were delicious!! I look forward to going back in the future.“

“It’s a semi nice lil spot but could use some HEAVY renovations. The crowd is older so I’m all for that the drinks are on point. However, on my last visit I was at the bar & I accidentally spilled my drink, while trying to pay, and the bartender informed she could remake it but there would be a $10 surcharge (mind you there is no signage of any kind around the bar stating this 🙄)to do so and that was on top of what the first drink cost plus the rest of my order. All I could do was laugh because I’d never heard of something so made up in my life, and for context I have over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry and I hold two degrees in culinary and hospitality management as well. So I guess common curiosity & customer service isn’t in the bartender employee handbook. I allowed her to remake it of course and paid the EXACT amount she asked as she stood there waiting for what could have been a tip I walked away. Please teach your bartenders proper customer service techniques and that common courtesy goes a long way.“
