“Got the hot wings to go . They were some of the best wings I’ve ever had. I live in Lake St Louis , was taken there by a friend, so glad she did. “Pretty big bar. The inside has a few games to play but I imagine summer time is when they pick up with business. There are sand volleyball courts and a huge patio. The patio is partially covered in some areas. The best part of the patio is you can bring you dog!!“

Also had crab cakes which had so much crab/so little filler I was surprised. Great finals week night dinner.“

“I been in there once about 5 years ago. Then I just happen to move on the same block up the street . I notice a lot of the older neighbors or my street were against it opening up because they thought it would cause trouble . I never witnesses any kind of issues. I walk past there a lot . It’s also clean . It’s a sports bar . Some of my neighbors think where drinking is involved crime will be there . All I witness Is people laughing having a good time .

Parking: They have a huge lot right across from the bar . I also think there street parking . Definitely no issues that I can see with parking .“

“FINALLY! Somewhere in St. Louis knows how to make a burger right. This is seriously the best burger and fries the city has to offer, and their menu is appropriately priced. I was also pleasantly surprised they carry Delirium Tremens. They have a super laid back atmosphere to boot - play some pool while you're there! Definitely don't sleep on The Drawing Board.“

“It's my goto for Sunday football or Blues hockey. The food is always excellent, everyone seems to know everyone and makes it very inviting. The one minus on football it only blast one game on the audio and no music on halftime.

Parking: Don't park across the street at the daycare lot. ANYTIME They will towe your vehicle!

Kid-friendliness: It's a bar restaurant. Great for afternoon lunch and early dinners.

They lost our pre-made 60 days in advance reservation to start off so we got shoved in like sardines to a booth half the size of what we needed, shoulder to shoulder. No one could even move or dance at all even on the regular floor. People kept spilling drinks all over my girls & everyone on the dance floor. The VIP booth was broken & falling apart in horrible condition. The waitress charged my card an extra 400 dollars that was an "accident" Overall I'd give this place 0 stars if possible. the worst bar experience I've ever had plus it's tiny, no room to move around, no smoking section, nothing.“

“I knew the owners of this place. Rose and Tony. My grandma took me down there when I was two. She ran a run down apt complex right next to there. I can’t believe it is still there. Rose and Tony would come to my house for holidays. I will be visiting there soon. It was a nice little dive bar the last time I was there. I worked at the west and cafe. I think rose and Tony were still alive at that point. Like 30 years ago. Love them and I loved this little bar.“

“We had a work function here during the day, which was also my first time at Wave Taco. The open air patio and all of the sand reminded me of being at the beach. We had a simple taco bar which was tasty. We were definitely having a great time and Shannon really treated us well. She was very friendly and very hospitable. I would highly recommend this place for a corporate outing or just for fun in general.“

“Good vibes. The food is great my disgruntle is there is no DJ. I pay just as much to listen to music on the Jukebox as I pay in buying drinks. Some days they have a live band but I should not have to pay for music. A YouTube or Spotify playlist will do.

“Chicagoan reviewing. Value was on the mark, big open bar area as well as an enormous dining room that welcomed kids when we were there. We only had the fish and chips but I can't recommend them highly enough ... with a caveat. The cod was incredibly fresh, best I've had in ages and not at all greasy. The fries were traditional in the American style but well executed. The only caveat, and perhaps this is a St. Louis thing, the breading wasn't like some beer batter, thick crust things but more like it had been buried in seasoned breadcrumbs. Not a style in used to but a style I devoured. Casual but recommended.“

“MY experience at The Armory went a little something like this! Nice crowd but nothing crazy. Started off with drinks. Shots were a little pricey but you get what you pay for. I had no complaints on the food. We had plenty of options and all were good. The quesadillas were even better the next day as leftovers. Chicken and steak quesadillas, hot wings, loaded fries and loaded nachos.“

“Place was empty when we went, but is right by the ballpark, I’m sure it is crowded on game days. Good was decent. Got quesadilla and friend got the southwest bowl, both were good portions, we didn’t finish and didn’t take home. Drinks were pretty good, waitress was nice and thorough.“
