“Super impressed by how fresh and attractive the food was“

“We went to the drive through location. For a meal as solid as this, at a touch over 9 dollars, I was absolutely floored. I got their grilled chicken sandwich and was met with a level of ecstasy I’ve only achieved through extraneous substances.“

“I’ve been here before and in the past the service wasn’t the best — I often felt like I was being met with an attitude and even charged extra for sweet and sour sauce when ordering multiple boxes of rice.

This time was a completely different experience. The rice was delicious, the service was great, and the lady who helped me was kind, polite, and even gave me extra sauce without hesitation. I ordered shrimp fried rice and it was excellent.

I’m really happy with how much better the service has gotten, and I’ll definitely be coming back more often!“

“Our large group (about 35) met at Linny’s for lunch gathering. It was the perfect venue for our group with great room setup. The food was delicious with great presentation. Our servers were absolutely amazing! With multiple orders, they fulfilled our requests while smiling the whole time. Linny’s is definitely a “let’s go there again” spot!“

“I read the reviews and almost didn't go there. But I said, let me try for myself and I was not disappointed. The phone service excellent atmosphere, excellent cashier. Excellent The Pizza, although I don't care for the provale or (sometimes sweet)sauce but it was actually delicious. The best Imo's I've ever eaten. I had it a great experience. I wish I could share the photo of the Pizza because it's beautiful, crispy. Outstanding.“

“Best Bread I have ever had, and I have been chasing down good bread for 50 years. I have had six different breads, all great. But the trading pane and the sesame are my favorites. Splurge for the tempered butter, it is worth it. Fantastic salads and soups, too. And the smoked beets are to die for!! Worth it to go just for that.“

“Food is great and served in reasonable time. The waitress could be more attentive to patrons seeing that the tip is added to the bill and paid before even receiving food. I asked for something and she forgot and brought it to the table 15 minutes later after I was almost done with meal. Had to ask for water, waitress only filled up my husband’s glass not mine and both were pretty much empty and I wasn’t even asked if I wanted more water. Hopefully this is read and improved on my return visit. It least it shows me how to tip next time 😏“

“It took us a while to be able to snipe a reservation and I can certainly see why they need them for dine in. They do not have a lot of tables at all. The food and drinks are absolutely amazing. The service was attentive and prompt. Be careful though since they don't have a lot of tables they do rely on people respecting the allotted time for their reservations. I'd probably do to go more just because the food is so very good and I don't necessarily need a sit down experience. I can't wait for them to move to tower grove east because then they'll have more tables.“

“Our wedding in February 2024 was a dream come true! Grbic helped make our day absolutely perfect. Leija was incredibly knowledgeable, easy to work with and quick to respond to all of our needs. The ceremony was held on the covered patio space and the reception in the Luxe Room which is gorgeous! The homemade food was delicious and the staff were all so friendly and fun. We were able to borrow almost all of our decor from their closet which was an added bonus. We are so happy we chose Grbic!“

“We love this place! Our favorite is the Texas BBQ Massacre! Absolutely delicious! The decore and atmosphere are spot on! Seeing a little tabletop standee of BrainScan was such a throwback! Everytime we come to St. Louis it is an obvious stop for us. My husband was recently sent up here to the hospital from Joplin and as soon as we found out he could eat I knew right were he was going to send me to pick up food. They were so accommodating and even sent a small gift to cheer up my husband and it did! Thank you so much! You guys are amazing!“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pictured below is the Gonzo calzone- Salami, dates, spinach, garlic herb cheese, mozzarella, mascarpone-ricotta blend, and garlic oil with garlic butter on the side. My husband looked at me like I was crazy when I read off dates but the slight sweetness against all of that savory is what made it!! We also tried the Fatty B, Meat me in St Louie, Magic Carpet Ride, and the Gyro. They were all amazing but the Gonzo and the Gyro were my favorites. The Magic Carpet Ride is also a must try if you're into mushrooms.“

“We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.“

“I have been wanting to get here for several years, and we finally made it, tonight, to Anthonino's Taverna, a short distance from Rob's place. She gave us enough time to settle in so we could make our choices. Rob had a Kona Wave draft, and I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Bailee brought us bread made, and baked on The Hill with great quality olive oil, and herbs for dipping. Rob ordered the lasagna, and I opted for the Tutti de Mare with seafood, garlic, butter, and olive oil. My dinner was delicious, and made with freshly made pasta, and a perfect mix of perfectly cooked wild caught seafood of mussels,shrimp, clams, and squid. Rob's lasagna also featured freshly made pasta sheets, Anthonino's red sauce, sausage, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese. I tasted it, and it's your pick here if you love lasagna. Homemade taste that brought me back to my grandmother's and my mother's tables. 🥰❤️ I also felt welcomed, and comfortable as soon as I walked through the door. “I am a repeat visitor. I keep returning because the selection of food is classic staples but made at a higher quality than what one would typically find at a brewpub. Many ingredients are locally sourced, some items are seasonally rotated in or out, and the food always pairs with beer of which they have several. The service has always been exceptional and without the condescension found at other places. The beer selection, which also has some rotating members, has a flavor for every pallet every season.“

“We came into Charlie Gitto’s on the Hill with no reservation, to celebrate my birthday. There was a short wait for seating but we got drinks and were checked on during our wait. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable with pairing drinks with food. The lobster ravioli and manicotti were delicious!! I look forward to going back in the future.“

“This is such a fun spot to stop by for lunch or dinner. I made a reservation for one because they don't have a ton of tables inside but they do have an awesome outdoor heated space. Quick to respond to calls and emails. Gracious, and just wonderful altogether... and that's just the service. The food? The empty pans, told the story. Brisket, Turkey and Pork for meats. Mac & cheese, potato salad and beans for sides. EVERYTHING was amazing! I never right reviews, but Rico and staff deserve this one. If you're reading this, don't hesitate to give them a try.
