There was not a single thing that I thought was “meh” and the green beans were amazing, much improved since last year. We will continue to get these holiday dinners as long as you offer them! Can’t wait for Christmas!“

“If you come to Chicago, you need to find yiur way to Big Eds at 651 Lakehurst in Waukegan!!! This place stands on it's own 2 feet side by side with anyplace we've been in Fort Worth! Excellent brisket and pulled pork, and some of the best mashed potatoes and mac and cheese I've had outside of my own house!! Good stuff!“

“With new Korean places popping up in Vernon Hills, this place is still a family favorite. The food is home-cooked and super authentic — not to mention several dollars cheaper than alternative K-restaurants. The mom-and-pop vibes are real, and we’re always greeted with big smiles. Will be back :)“

The food was still hot even by the time we got it home and set up. The server there at 2pm when I picked up was very kind and helpful as well! We will definitely be back!

“My entire family devoured our food. We were comatose afterwards. We ordered rib tips, turkey, brisket, & half chicken. The meat was so good & tender. Baked beans were surprisingly delicious as well. However, $25 pp, complimentary cornbread would have been appreciated. Lasrly, the Mac & cheese was bland but edible.“

“Went there on 6/22/22. We ate outside and were pleased to have a musician playing on the patio. The food was excellent as was the service. Bring your appetite and still expect to take home leftovers. Classic menu of steaks, chops, sandwiches and top notch BBQ. This will be a mainstay for us moving forward. There's a selection of sauces at your table. If you have a dining pass, I would suggest visiting this place. If you don't, it will cost you a good penny (18-16 per entree, that does include a side).“

“happened to stumble on this place on a random Tuesday. we came into the restaurant around 2:15ish and they closed at 3:00. despite this, they were very kind and told us not to worry about it. the food was amazing, me and my best friend couldn’t believe how good every dish was. we got a ton of food for $45 without tip. left happy and full! would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a tasty bite.“

“I drove past this place for the last 16 years always meaning to try the chicken. Well today I did and I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was delicious, so moist and crispy outside. Yes please. I got a 2 piece meal. Come with 2 sides and a biscuit. It was under 8.00. You just can’t beat that. And they have a drive thru!?! 16 years wasted. Now I know.“
