“I was pretty skeptical because I love sushi, but only good sushi and I have have some bad experiences with sushi in Illinois. But this place it definitely amazing and underrated. The food was amazing and the portions are perfect; the quality was very awesome and the presentation of the food made it 10 times more amazing. The workers are very nice and patient. I think that the prices are reasonable for the quality; I have paid much more for sushi that was of terrible quality. I think the variety is super intresting too and I really enjoy coming here. Definitely try this place, even if you don't like sushi, they have many options.“

“My first visit to Inovasi and it did not disappoint! Our server Lucia was fantastic- knowledgeable friendly and she helped me find just the right cocktail! We started with their delicious bread, and then had the crispy pork belly for appetizer. For entree we had a filet with shaved truffles and a blackened cod with lime and whipped edamame. Both were superb as was the dessert of flourless chocolate cake with raspberry purée and shipped goats cheese, and a pumpkin cheesecake. All was delicious, and the ambiance and decor was warm and inviting. We will be back!“

Let's start with the food; They have quite a variety of food, good quality ingredients although nothing different or a reference point, I consider that their quality-cost-portion ratio is still in good balance, I would recommend perhaps improving the speed in food preparation a little .

Service, just good, nothing bad, nothing to highlight, it only remains as something that would not provide added value.

Regarding the environment, it is good, enough spaces for people, you can interact with the people you go to without any restrictions, you can go with your family, friends without any problem.“

“Food is amazing, Kenny was our chef and he was great! It as our first time doing hibachi and they definitely made an effort to show us a good time. Steak was the best thing we had ordered, it is pricy but definitely worth it for when u want a fancy night out.“

“I beg my partner to take me here as a treat. Best sushi place to dine in, at Waukegan. I love it here 😭. They have so many different options, and the food is always delicious, the presentation is always there too. The service is always friendly and quick. Things can add up pretty quickly, but I’ll definitely keep coming back for the sushi! The Foxy Roll is my new favorite. I wish they had more desert options though. It’s never hard to find parking but the roads to the parking lot could use repairs.“

“This place was no joke the best thai food I have ever had. We went twice in two days. The thai iced coffee, sushi, pad thai, sesame seed chicken, and chicken gyoza were amazing. Crab Rangoons were the best we had ever eaten. Every employee was courteous and super friendly!“

“We have a typical sushi restaurant that we go to up in Gurnee but last night we decided to try somewhere new which was Umai Sushi. What a pleasant surprise! The place is big, they have a really cool circular bar when you first walk in, and a self serve salad and miso soup bar. Not to mention the cocktails are AWESOME! The absolute best part though was the sushi boat for 2 we got was incredible! The sashimi pieces were thick and the salmon was so buttery and melted in your mouth. The nigiri pieces were massive! I highly recommend coming here, you won’t be disappointed!“
