“I had the flautas de papa and Joya smoothie. Wow! I mean it was a good portion and very very delicious. Be aware that the prices are a little steep. You’ll get sticker shock when you see the menu. But when you think about it, supporting a small, local business, that is planet conscious, it’s worth the extra money. Their straws are biodegradable and the menu is all vegan. The staff is so nice, too. A must visit for sure!“

We spent another anniversary with them (we live a few blocks away and dine and take out often, but still our go to for special occasions) This time, we were treated to a full dessert of Cannoli Dip to celebrate! “We had our wedding celebration here in June, and it was absolutely perfect - thanks to Mary Ann! Mary Ann was so helpful with coordinating the day, and incredibly kind through the whole process! She is so thorough with planning, and making sure everything was to our liking!
The day of our celebration everything was amazing and went smoothly! The food and drinks were a huge hit, and the entire staff was incredibly kind! We were also happy with the gluten free options and dietary accommodations !!

“First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!“

The food and drinks are great (obsessed with the lavender lemonade they make in the summer), the bar itself is very cool and historic and their outdoor patio is dog friendly. My husband has done the distillery tour for his bachelor party and thought it was really fun. Highly recommend!“
