“If you are ever looking for some of the BEST TACOS in the South Suburbs-Harvey to be EXACT.. you have to stop at Al Vapor Taqueria. These are the best Steak tacos...Everything is cooked fresh. The owner Lucia and her son Sebastian are so nice. You will not be disappointed. I wish I took a picture of the tacos..but Trust me they are FYEEEEEE! Another winner the have excellent salsas and fresh chips...and Cauliflower, carrots and peppers...LIKE I SAID..FYEEE!!!! TRY THEM OUT, thank me later.????“

“I don't know if it's the lack of good Mexican food in Hawaii, but this place was fantastic! It definitely hit the spot. I wouldn't think that Chicago has good Mexican food, being pretty far from Mexico, but it really does. Shows what I know. We got a total of four burritos, three tacos, two chips and salsa, and pico de gallo, and four large horchata. I'm pretty sure there is something that I left out but all of that only cost me $70. That was a fantastic deal. We called the head to order most of these items and when I got there I couldn't help but ordered a few more things. There were also specials of the day. I wish I'd seen that before ordering more stuff but either way it was worth it. Hopefully I get a chance to come back before I have to go back to Hawaii.

“Wonderful mexican food. Been a tinley park / oak forest resident my whole life, and I have not stopped coming back to tacos diaz for when I want mexican food. Al pastor (pork) tacos are fresh and made excellent. Thank you for wonderful food & wonderful service“

“This place has amazing tacos de carnitas !!!! The meat was so tender and juicy. No fat on the tacos I had. It’s a 20 min drive from my house in Gary but man it’s worth the drive. I highly recommend. I had 2 tacos de carnitas 1 asada 1 apastor and 1 large agua de Jamaica. Total was $18“

“Nice restaurant pizza is the best chicken tenders we're great just some times they actually weren't tenders and was other chicken like milanessa but they were nice the wait time is less then your average pizza place

Parking: It's always tough because there's alot of cars of residents and workers.

Kid-friendliness: There is a casino and there is just a door by the entrance that leads to the back in my own opinion if I had a kid they could get in“

“We pass this place plenty of times, when we went for tacos around the corner of it. Decided to stop in to give it a try. This is our new taco place! Steak, Pastor, Cecina and chorizo tacos are delicious! Carnitas they sometimes have on Sunday are the bomb. Pozole is delicious. Can't forget the nachos w/steak louded, couldn't wait until I got home, munched on them the whole way home.“

“Man these Tacos and Tortas are the best. Every time I am in the South suburbs I come here to grab some. They are cash only so come with cash. The guy's been working here forever. They just recently repainted and remodeled just a little bit. The food is the same from years ago when I was coming here. I'm glad they're back open“

For the last couple of months I've tried all different kinds of tacos on the menu. but the one thing i just cant get enough are the Tacos de Cabeza. I just cant wrap my head around how the meat is so delicious, tasty, and tender and packed with so much flavor. Every-time I come here, I come for one simple reason... to give my taste buds the bet experience in the world and to have the most mouthwatering tacos of my life. “We ended up at this place by chance with 6 of us, ranging from teens to a grandma. All of us loved it. The tacos were really delicious. Grandma felt that the guacamole was too salty so the owner came out and apologized, made her a fresh batch to her liking AND removed it from the bill. Both food and service were top notch. The atmosphere was super fun and lively too.“

“This place was lit! A very diverse group of customers, which was nice. The rice is moist, refried beans have a little heat to them which I really enjoyed, salsa was very good i wish we got a little more 😋. The elotes I wish was thicker and I thought the price was a bit higher than average. There was a DJ that setup and was playing some early 2000s music which his setup was clean, music was clear using Mackie, levels were adjusted on point.“

“Surprisingly for a hidden taco joint in a gas station, it’s great. I’ve had the tacos, burritos, and torta. The el pastor burrito is delicious! Their burrito tortilla is not like those thin stretchy flour tortillas, it’s great for burritos. The steak, lengua, and el pastor tacos are good too! The carnita taco is okay, not the best but it’s good. The torta is one of my go to’s. It can be a bit pricy but I think it’s worth it if you have the money to spend lol.“

“Vegetarian options: Menu is not vegetarian but if you for your plate to be modified they will make sure that it is. All of their food is authentic they make it, the owner is very friendly will say hi and welcome to everyone. Very welcoming!“
