“My husband and I are visiting from Arizona and were meeting some friends in The Glen. We planned on going to The Yardhouse, but thought it was too noisy. Saw the reviews for The Oak and we were so glad we did. The burger I had was the best burger I have ever had, our friend felt the same. My husband and our other friend had the rueben, they loved them also. We left the restaurant and we were going to take individual pics, then this really nice guy offered to take a picture of all of us. He was so very nice. Guess what, he was the owner. We will definitely be back on our next visit here and our friends will be back sooner. Great food!!!!“

We celebrated my mom’s birthday at Field House in Deerfield and it was honestly such a special experience from start to finish.

The atmosphere is beautiful—warm, inviting, and perfect for both an intimate family dinner or a bigger celebration. From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel so welcomed and taken care of, which made the night even more meaningful.

The food completely exceeded expectations. Everything we ordered was incredible—from the homemade cheese curds (a must!) to the nachos, and my personal favorite, the lobster gnocchi. The menu truly has something for everyone, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor.

What really stood out was how accommodating and kind everyone was while we celebrated. They made my mom feel so special, and that’s something we’ll always remember.

If you’re looking for a place that delivers amazing food, great energy, and a genuinely memorable experience, Field House is it. We’ll absolutely be back.“

“We have discovered this place 3 years ago when we are searching for an outdoor casual dining. What we found was a great place that had outdoor seating on a deck patio with umbrellas and a TV set to watch sporting events. The service was friendly, and the food was great. The drinks were very reasonable. The menu was large having everything from sandwiches to dinners. We never had a bad experience there and brought family and friends to enjoy the evening sitting outside. We always come back.“

“Atmosphere was fun and festive, but with only two bartenders, it took forever to get drinks. I stood at the bar with money waving in my hand for over fifteen minutes. Staff was friendly and the fish looked clean. Typical noise level for a bar on a Saturday night with live music.
Thankfully, our friends got here early and held a table for us, otherwise it was standing room only.“

Our server and Jesse was wonderful, and when he wasn’t available home, there was another manager who came and brought items out, so there was no delay in service while he was attending another customer and socialized at the table. We dined outside on the patio underneath the heat lamp and lights. The Barn was the perfect atmosphere for our relaxing evening together. Both of our dishes were prepared to our specifications. Mine was seared on the outside and tender moist on the inside. To add to that perfection, the sunchoke purée had an amazing mélange of flavors. I finished my meal with the Scorza Dolce--also packed with flavor.I have now had three meals that were so exquisitely flavorful that they will stick in my mind forever (previous two are from 1981 and 2005). I love that they serve fresh juice (the Verde Vida was amazing) and have a large tequila selection. The Blackberry margarita also did not disappoint, and the food is authentic and delicious.
