“My experience at Miramar was amazing, the food was spectacular and really tasted amazing, our server, Sebastian really made us feel welcome and was really what made us feel special, If you are planning on visiting I would definitely recommend him, not only was he great in recommending dishes but really went the extra mile in being great. “This is the BEST McDonalds! The food is served hot and delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The managers and owner should be very proud.This McDonald's is worth traveling out of your way to enjoy the service and food. My favorite food is the Quarter Pounder with Cheese. They also make a great Mccafe Carmel Frappe.“

“We order from here alot for our office. Today I called at 10:45am and placed a big order with alot of I don't want this, want extra that. Mario was awesome and read it back perfectly. We picked it up, and the bags had exactly what was in them per order. They have never done this before but it sure helps to not take someone else's sandwich or have to open the foil and dig through someone else's order. Mario went above and beyond.. our food was right and everything was perfect down to the extra pickles. “My husband and I have been coming here for years. The owners, Chris and Nikki and the bartender, Monica are always welcoming and take good care of us. Nice atmosphere, good company, lots of tvs if you want to watch the game, great music playing in the background. The food is always very good and freshly made. Some of our favorites are the chicken kabobs, the Jerry's Special, and the burgers, which are excellent! Half price martinis on Wednesdays with a long list of options to choose from. We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday there and they were very accommodating and everyone had a great time!“

“Craving for a good burger? Stop by Wick n Ore! I recommend the Wagyu Burger on a Pretzel Bun with American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pickles and Sautéed Onions. The burger was cooked perfectly and ingredients were fresh. Their house fries were really crispy and not overly salty. Our waitress was amazing. Attentive, very friendly and also made some good recommendations on food. Do save room for dessert! Highly recommend their dessert shots. Their house made apple crisp was amazing!! “I've driven past this place so many times and I finally decided to try it out. Only carry-out and delivery right now with the pandemic. I ordered 2 Big Island Classic burgers, 1 smokehouse burger, and another basic burger with one small cheese fry. It took 25-30min for preparation. This seems to be a 2 man operation (dad and maybe his daughter) and it was at prime lunchtime. I didn't realize the description online said the island and smokehouse burgers were on french bread so that was a surprise but not bad. Personally, we weren't the biggest fans of how the burgers were cooked, charred and well-done, but the toppings were great and my sister said the ketchup to mayo ratio on hers was perfect! The cheddar fries are Merkt's cheddar which I now know isn't my favorite but for those that like Merkt's, there is lots of it and covers all the fries. Thanks for lunch, Little Island :-)“

There are quite a few menu options.I with with a Chicago dog, fries, and drink and it was less than 10 bucks. You can't beat that.The fries were cooked enough to not be wimpy, another few seconds in the fryer would have been perfect. Well seasoned, and you get a huge order.The dog was perfect. I'd put it up against the more well known places in the Chicago area. Bun was soft, seasoning spot on, and the veggies fresh.“

“They give you nice fat chunks of gyro meat here, it's excellent. My wife and I had a Chicago dog, pizza puff, bomber special, onion rings, Oreo shake. Everything was very good and the prices were fine. Bomber Special and Pizza Puff were my faves. Great dive vibes; it's a tiny 8-stool bar with a little TV in the corner. Playing tennis when I went (hell yeah)The gyro meat was chunky and had a good bite, and with BBQ sauce on the bomber special it was insane. The onion rings are breaded and I personally prefer battered, but the breading was even and fried well, and the inside was all beautiful stringy onions. Pizza puff was fantastic, great cheese and sauce ratio and really satisfying bites all the way through.Chicago dog was good, they use a poppyseed bun (I'm sick of going to spots with regular buns, this is a real dog) except I think the sports peppers were a little heavy. Tomatoes were a little light, but I prefer that. Oreo shake was excellent, it was creamy and a little icey in a good wayThe guy was really nice too. He was great at interacting with the customers that were interested and laying off the ones just trying to enjoy their food. 10/10 spot“

“This is a legit taqueria, something North Evanston has been in need of forever. I feel badly that I waited so long to try the food (from the name I assumed it was Americanized Mexican/fusion). Don't make the same mistake. The food is traditional and well made by very attentive and authentic owners. I can't speak to the burgers (haven't tried them), but the Burritos, tacos, and flautas are all solid, the salsa's are excellent, and the Mexican fries are crisp and tasty. Great service too.“

“I do like Culver’s fish sandwich. My sister went to pick up 3 sandwiches for my dad, myself and my sister. When she got home I put my hand in the bag to get sandwich out and felt something warm and in just a wrapper was my fish without a bun. I will say the Mac n cheese could definitely be taken up a few notches, not much flavor. Definitely will be running back to this place to try more! “I've never been to a Culver's in spite of living near one in a few states. The burgers put me in the mind of a smash burger I've had somewhere else. Good but not the best when I think of a great beef burger. My preference is one from Longhorn or Burgerhaus.“

They also offer a pub burger, for those who don't care for the smash style. It's good, but the smash burger is better. Their fries tend to be kinda dry and flavorless, so dressing them up with carne asada or truffle oil might be a good choice. Hot dogs are the standard Chicago dog, done right, tasty but not hard to find around here. The shakes are fine, but nothing stood out to me to make them worthy of the top billing they get here. BWB also offers bowls and chicken, haven't tried them. The venue is pretty much takeout only, although there is a table on the sidewalk nearby. Service is quick and friendly. If they had better fries, they'd be rock stars, as it is, I'm happy to come here when I'm looking for a good burger.“

“Nostalges Dairy Queen is walk-in service only. Few idealic parking spaces in the back and two in front no area is to sit around except on the guardrail. Totally what I remember growing up. Service is what you expect it's crowded everyone everybody wants ice cream a hot day, they're doing the best they can. Great flavor of ice cream and special treats. Dairy Queens are independently run, each place can charge their own prices. So you will find other Dairy Queens with other prices, FYI.“
