The pozole is delicious and the toppings come in a large portion. Pozole was still very hot when I get home. My coworker and I went to go check out the restaurant and Cindy and a gentleman greeted us as we walked in. Even asked if we had just called. This to me is how you treat your customers. My husband and I stumbled upon it on a Saturday early evening - just in time for an early dinner. I'm a huge Mexican food aficionado so I know my Mexican food. It's not your typical authentic Mexican food that you'd find in the city, but a bit more contemporary and still flavorful - and I can appreciate that! We ordered the guacamole with chips and salsa which I thought were great. We also ordered the Al pastor tacos, the chicken tinga and carne asada. We ended our dinner with the Mexican donuts. Overall, I would go back and order all of it except the chicken tinga which was a little too sweet for my liking. My favorite was the Al pastor. My husband loved the carne asada. I also had a delicious watermelon mocktail not listed on the menu but something the bartender created on a whim. Best of all, the staff and our server were extremely friendly and attentive. We had such a great experience, I would definitely be back and it feels wonderful to have something fun and new in town.“
