I visited this Kyrgyz restaurant for the first time, and everything was perfect — the food, the atmosphere, and the service. The flavors are so authentic, it honestly feels like you’re eating in Central Asia. The lagman and manty were especially delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the hidden gems in Chicago! I’ll be coming back for sure. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to try real Kyrgyz cuisine.“

“terrible food. cuts of steak were that bad cuts ; nothing but fat and the food was horrible ..either is was bland or I was coughing from the amount of overspice it was given. the manager couldn't even come and talk to us , and had the server come apologize, and were still charged the full amount regardless of THEIR mistakes..the server though, she was great to us, bless her heart. they do not serve drinksneither, fyi. if youre looking for a date night out, this is not it.“

Lately it seems like the quality of food at most places has gone down while the prices have doubled. And then this this place. Crazy variety. Every item I have had so far exceeded my expectations. “My first visit to Char Kabobs was excellent! I wasn’t sure what to order because I’m not (yet!) super familiar with the cuisine. The chef? recommended the Chicken Boti wrap and it was delicious! I’d asked for it spicy and it had the perfect amount of heat for me. Freshly prepared, flavorful tender chicken, lots of onions, just the right amount of lettuce and delicious sauce all wrapped up in fresh flat bread. I will definitely be back to try more items! “I tried the food at Ali Kabob Deli and it was absolutely delicious! Real authentic Arabic cuisine the chicken shawarma was amazing, and the lamb shank was juicy and flavorful. The kids’ chicken sandwich was also really good. Everything was nicely grilled, tasty, and felt healthy. The atmosphere is lovely, with beautiful original Arabesque décor and charming Sinai-style cushions that make the seating extra cozy. Highly recommend!“
