“We are fairly frequent diners to the Phoenix and always appreciate their weekly menu specials. This week was a pastrami sandwich on marbled rye with a whole grain mustard - and it did not disappoint! We also shared the grilled artichokes appetizer (always delish!) and the creamy cauliflower soup. Our server was fabulous and attentive as well. We will be back again soon!“

“Frankie's since 1988 is hands-down, the best restaurant in the southwest Chicago suburbs. My son and I went for my birthday and there was no place I would rather go. The decor is trendy yet elegant and I really enjoyed the music that was playing. Service was quick and friendly. The signature Frankie's old-fashioned was amazing! Although the lasagna is my absolute favorite, I like to try the chef specials whenever possible, especially the seasonal ones. We had the pumpkin lasagna and the butternut squash risotto with crumbled Italian sausage.... Both were amazing! Whether it's your 20th time back or your first time here, the staff and the owner will make you feel like Family. This is truly a gem in the south suburbs. If you're reading this review to see if you want to go to Frankie‘s, don't hesitate... Just make the reservation...You won't be disappointed.“

“There’s so many things I love about Barrel & Vine!! The food, of course! And the fact that everything is made to order, they have lots of gluten free options and they are all delicious! “I remember you Laura. You and your partner walked in while we were super busy. Maybe you didn't notice our heads down in the well making cocktail after cocktail after cocktail for the numerous satisfied guests. Each cocktail takes several minutes to construct. Our other guests seemed fine with the wait. While you seem more content with being a keyboard warrior. Service is something we take great pride in Laura, your lack of patience could really use some work. Oh, the elevator situated right next to the stairs may have helped get you up and down, sorry you didn't see it.“

The staff made us feel very welcome and taken care of the entire night. They added little cute touches like our picture on the menu that made it feel special and their new space is really modern and perfect for events. We highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions or just a nice dinner out. We have been coming here with our family the last few years and it is an amazing gem in Joliet.“

My favorite dish was a tie between the perfectly-done steak fries and the yummy succotash scallops. Good sauces with the grilled shrimp. Our table also indulged in the menu specials. No complaints, no notes. Everything was solid.“

We had reservations at the lemont location, and who ever had called me (forgot the name, my bad) was so nice about a unfortunate situation and went out of his way to call the lagrange location and book my reservation for my boyfriends birthday dinner/promotion celebration. since I moved to this area 6 months ago, I have never crossed paths with such a caring sweet person. “We called just 5 minutes before and were still able to get a reservation on a Saturday at 5:30 PM, which was awesome! Our server was great and super friendly, and the food was delicious. The portions are a great size and the prices are really reasonable. Definitely worth checking out!“

“Went here for dinner with a girlfriend and had the corona beer battered white fish taco dinner that came with 3 tacos, rice and beans. I also enjoyed a hibiscus margarita. I was expecting tiny 2-3 bite street tacos but these were huge! The tacos themselves were street size but the toppings went crazy. A lot more than I was expecting! They were delicious and so filling that I could not finish the rice and beans. Definitely recommend!“
