“In 2017, I picked up my older brother at Midway to come home to the funeral of our youngest brother that committed suicide at 23 yers old. We swung over to Vito and Nick's to get a pizza and talk. It was our first time there. We ended up telling the waitress the situation because we had both been crying. Next thing we know, the kitchen had par-baked like 8 large pizzas of all types, and gave us a hand-written note giving us condolences and instructions on how to finish baking the pizzas. They said they wanted to make sure my family was well-fed in our time of tragedy ❤ And the pizza is INCREDIBLE ❤ SPECIAL, SPECIAL PLACE“

“I don't have pictures because of course we pigged out...this place is the gem they say it is...the food is awesome...they have an eating area. I had the penne bolognaise..my husband the timballo..for give me if I misspelled it..baked spaghetti....the gelato is great...they make their own bread..I bought their homemade sopressata to take home...I am sure I will not be disappointed..I highly recommend it..“

“I like to support smaller businesses instead of the big chains. This place was very good. Not my favorite style of pizza, but that's personal preference and not the restaurant's fault; you get what you pay for. Way too much cheese for my liking. Just wish they didn't skimp on the toppings.

“When you visit Chicago, it’s only right to try out Chicago style pizza. Based on a quick Google search, Lou Malnati was highly recommended. We ordered their mozzerella bites and a medium pizza. Everything was delicious. One of my kids order the kids spaghetti and the portion was more than enough for a 7-year old. We’ll definitely be back when we visit Chicago again.“

“Just had their steak (carne asada) tacos! Absolutely fantastic! The green salsa is on point! Very generous on the size of their tacos. I'm extremely picky when it comes to getting tacos in fact I only like my tacos from one or two taco places in all of Chicago. This is my first time coming here and this spot just got added to my small list. I will most definitely stop by this place whenever I'm around this area. Thank you for the great food! It's still an amazing pizza and the (owner?) who I've interacted with a couple times recently has been incredibly inviting when you enter his business, super friendly. That's great but like I said, the pizza is outstanding! I love supporting the small guy. If you haven't given them a try, do it. You won't be disappointed! If I still lived in Orland Park this would be my go to every time! Plus I got to catch the Bears interception play on their TV today when I was grabbing my pizza. 🐻 ⬇️“

Cheese well bubbled (i ordered well done), giardiniera + beef high quality, sauce tangy and delicious.

To top it off, there was a healthy amount of each topping. No skimping here.

My only criticism is that some of the dough in the middle is not cooked through, despite being well done.

$30 for a large thin crust is certainly not the cheapest option but it’s good.“

The pizza was okay. It needs seasoning in the sauce. I had pepperoni and my husband had pepperoni and sausage. He said the sausage tasted like Casey's sausage. Do with that what you will.

Other than the lack of seasoning, the crust was great. If you LOVE cheese, you will like how much cheese they use. The pepperonis would taste better if they were above the cheese, but that is of course preference. Overall nice place. 1 slice is all you really need do to the size of each slice.“

“My husband keeps a list of pizza places we need to try. Today was the day to try Cipriani’s after our flight at Midway. The place is easy to get to from Midway and was outstanding. The staff were all patient and kind while we decided what to order. Their specialty is stuffed pizza, which my husband is not usually a fan of, but we ordered one. It did not disappoint. Sauce was flavorful, the right amount of toppings and cheese with a crust that didn’t make the pizza feel too stuffed. We also tried two soups. Pasta figole and minestrone. Both were also delicious, the pasta figole being a bit tangy. The owner, Sarah, was very welcoming. The small dining room was clean. A great find!“

“Growing up in the Chicago area, especially on the south side, you EXPECT local pizza joints to be good. Lots of places that don't primarily sell pizza still have better pizza that you get in other parts of the country.

Though it's been around for a long time, as have I, I'd never tried Rosangela's prior to this time, and I'm here to say that I am a believer.

I tried introducing a colleague of mine to chicago pizza at a couple other places, and they did not impress him... Rosangela's did.

Just a medium special and a drink, but I will tell you that it's some of the best tavern style things crust pizza you'll ever have.

It's as good as your favorite place, and likely better.
