“OMG! I have missed good take out since going vegan, and this place blew my mind! They had all the classic Chinese rake out dishes. Everything I got tasted exactly like what I remember prior to being vegan. I got sweet and sour chicken, vegan salt & pepper shrimp, wonton soup, and bean paste dessert rice balls. Everything was heavenly and wish I had stuff like this where I lived. I will definitely be back when I'm in the Chicago area again! Heck, I'd travel just for this food! I love that it's located in Chinatown too, which is a very cool area! The menu labeled what wasn't vegan/had egg & dairy.“

“Such a great start to our day here with the lychee danish, coconut cappuccino, tofu banh mi, and chicken wings. My friend and I shared so I could get a taste of several things. Our server was Ashley. She made some great suggestions. It was literally a walk away and I wish I lived closer to explore more of their menu. I can't remember eating having ones that are so tender and flavorful. The salsa is so balanced and flavorful, I could add it to most all foods. The chicharron are top notch, and I can't imagine getting any better. I'd come here more often but the parking is horrendous.“

“I visited El Milagro for the first time during a work trip and really enjoyed it! I ordered the steak platter, which came with steak, rice, beans, cabbage slaw, and their delicious corn shells. I didn’t realize they don’t serve cilantro and onions, but the salsas—especially the spicy one—were really good. The chips were delicious too!

I also tried the pineapple juice, which wasn’t overly sweet or acidic—just a really good, refreshing juice.

The steak plate was around $12, which I thought was very reasonable for the portion. Overall, a great experience, especially if you already love El Milagro’s corn shells and chips. Definitely check them out!“

“In 2017, I picked up my older brother at Midway to come home to the funeral of our youngest brother that committed suicide at 23 yers old. We swung over to Vito and Nick's to get a pizza and talk. It was our first time there. We ended up telling the waitress the situation because we had both been crying. Next thing we know, the kitchen had par-baked like 8 large pizzas of all types, and gave us a hand-written note giving us condolences and instructions on how to finish baking the pizzas. They said they wanted to make sure my family was well-fed in our time of tragedy ❤ And the pizza is INCREDIBLE ❤ SPECIAL, SPECIAL PLACE“

El día de hoy, martes 26 de noviembre, llegué a cenar a las 8:45 pm confiando en la información publicada en sus redes sociales, donde claramente se especifica que el horario de cierre es a las 11:00 pm. No obstante, a las 9:30 pm ya se estaba anunciando el "último llamado" para bebidas alcohólicas. Además, durante mi estancia, fui testigo de cómo dos familias fueron rechazadas para cenar por el mismo motivo: el restaurante estaba cerrando antes de tiempo debido a "la falta de clientes". Entiendo que puedan surgir situaciones operativas, pero considero que este tipo de decisiones impacta negativamente en la experiencia de sus clientes. Cuando se anuncia un horario de cierre, los clientes planeamos nuestras visitas en base a esa información. De no ser posible mantener el horario anunciado, sería más transparente ajustarlo oficialmente en sus plataformas para que las personas puedan planear con anticipación y, en caso necesario, optar por otras opciones. Por último, quiero mencionar que esta inconformidad fue compartida con nuestra mesera, quien nos escuchó con amabilidad. Sin embargo, creo que esta situación requiere un ajuste desde la gerencia para evitar malentendidos en el futuro. “Really good ramen here! It's a small place and always busy, which says a lot about the food. The staff work very fast, although they aren't the friendliest, probably because they're always busy. The biggest downside is the wait. There isn't a waiting area, and customers have to stand outside in the hot weather. It would be much better if they had a waiting list or a call/text notification system so customers wouldn't have to wait outside. Despite that, the ramen is delicious, and I'd definitely come back.“

One small thing that could be improved is clearer signage. There wasn’t anything indicating that you can seat yourself, so I assumed I needed to order at the counter and wait for a number 🤔 Turns out I was completely wrong, and for a moment I thought I was about to get scolded 😅 The lady at the counter helped fix my order and guided me, and then I was able to sit down.

Aside from that little confusion, everything else was great, and I still really enjoyed my visit 🙌✨“
