“A place that has the opportunity to grow legendary like the South Sides’ Mitchell’s. It’s quite good ice cream. The place has a charm but can’t really figure out it exterior options for optimal opportunities to improve flow and customer experience. The shop sure cranks people through at a decent clip. Impressively staffed on a very busy evening. An eclectic neighborhood crowd gives the atmosphere a unique vibe like it’s a big ice cream social and you’re invited.“

“I visited the Crystal Lake Culver’s on Saturday, May 24th, 2025. I am an avid fan of Culver’s and I have visited 35 locations in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri and Kentucky. As a resident of Crystal Lake I visit this Culver’s very regularly. The food was excellent and the service was quick. I definitely recommend the ice cream and the chicken. 5/5 I will definitely be back very soon. (Written 6-3-25)“

“My first visit to The Inside Scoop was on Friday, March 21, 2025. And I was pretty impressed, they had a great variety of flavors that all looked good. You can’t go wrong with mint chocolate chip. It’s one of the great ice cream places if you’re looking for one in downtown Crystal Lake. If the opportunity presents itself I will definitely be returning!“

“This is a new Culver's, still great food, in a modern package. You must try everything but for your first time go with a butter burger, cheese curds, and leave room for custard of your choice.
Next time (there will be a next time) look beyond a burger and try the cod, pot roast sandwich, or soup.
Nothing will disappoint you....
Remember, don't forget the custard!👍“
“I absolutely LOVE Cold Stone Creamery! We visited again on Sunday, May 4, 2025 for the first time in years and honestly the Chocolate Devotion is probably the best ice cream I’ve ever had. We were so impressed with it. When we got home afterwards there was some complaining from family members who did not go with us because they didn’t realize we were going to Cold Stone! “Ordered our family birthday cake by mistake at this location. Right day right time everything was 50% off that day. Homemade dilly bars and blizzard cake was amazing. Ice cream was just so fresh tasting. By far the best DQ to go to we will be back. Thanks!!“

“It's Dairy Queen. Soft serve of all kinds. The food selections are hit and miss. They offer meal deals on par with other fast food franchises, and like others, deals are often available.
It's about the soft serve.
My 5 star review reflects my love of soft serve and my days of youth before 31 favors and yogurt.
I always go dipped cone. Hard shell and soft serve are one of the things that make DQ deliciously different.“

“Me and the boyfriend came threw the chicken strips and bacon deluxe was really good and there fries and cheese curds. but are concrete mixers we both took a bit and threw them away I got the pumpkin mixer with pecans and asked for regular Carmel instead of salted they gave me salted and a crap load of pecans boyfriend got chocolate ice cream with peanut butter cups there was so much peanut butter in there I don't even think there was chocolate ice cream it was so thick you could barely swallow it without drinking something with it he threw his out to.“
