She was so patient with my many questions and never made me feel like a nuisance. Everything was completed to perfection and done so artistically with Vanessa's recommendations. “We drive 25 minutes out of our way just to get this. They are very consistent with their drinks and even when they're busy I never get hard and old boba unlike some other places in the area. Pricing is fair and equal to other places but quality itself beats their competitors in my opinion.“

“I have come to this candy shop for the last 10 years. That should speak for itself. If it doesn't, I'll say more:I absolutely love chocolate malts. Any place I go that has them, I always order one. SweetSpot makes the most INCREDIBLE malt I have ever had anywhere, and not once in 10 years has it been less than amazing! I took a friend a few months ago, telling them that the malts are the best and she was skeptical. Had one sip and said it was "50/10."However, if you aren't into malts, there are many other things to love. They have the widest variety of candies I have ever seen at one shop, plus some types of candy that I haven't seen anywhere else in 15 years, not to mention soda in actual glass bottles! Good luck finding those in your local grocery store! It seems impossible to find a real *candy* store anymore, as opposed to a store with a candy section.If you're in the area, SweetSpot is a must-visit. I'm moving several hours away tomorrow, but you can be sure that any time I come back to visit, I'll be stopping here for a malt!“

“The Inside Scoop has the best Hot Fudge Sundaes in Crystal Lake! Although they have a variety of ice cream selections, I love the vanilla ice cream, it tastes homemade. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend stopping in!“

“I hardly believe this, but I left today and they forgot to include my coleslaw. I got home and called to mention it. I was told they'd bring the coleslaws to me. I thought it was a joke, like doctors making house calls. Sure enough, they came to my door with the coleslaws, an extra, and a pint of blueberry cheesecake. Unbelievable! “Oberweis Ice Cream is one of those IYKYK places for those lucky enough to live by one. Any time we were in town and we needed a way to cap off a great day or weekend, easy, Oberwise.

My suggestion is the chocolate malt with vanilla ice cream. It's the best.“

“I was at this location before closing last night, around 9:30. The man working at the counter was very respectful and friendly! He was happy to take my order and got it out quickly, it was made perfectly and I could taste that it was fresh! I apologized for being in late and he understood and was very compassionate about my situation. Excellent customer service, I will definitely be visiting this place again!“

“The food was good. I ordered 2 grilled chicken sandwiches at around 9pm from the drive through. The order took not even 5 minutes and it was so good. “The employees here are always very nice, the food is great, and the inside is very clean. There's plenty of seating. Everytime we go the place usually has families with kids or elderly folks eating.
Once I forgot to order sauce for the cheese curds and the guy (I didn't get his name) gave me some for free!

This is our go-to spot after taking our son to his check-ups. Nothing makes a vaccine feel better than getting custard and cheese curds afterwards. I hope we continue this tradition.“
