“My wife and I went to Garden on Main with my daughter and her finance for a late lunch. I was told by a neighbor to try them out. My daughter and I had the soup of the day. ( Can't remember the name but had egg and sausage ) The soup was recommended by our waitress and it was a great choice !! The food was GREAT and the service was just as good !! We joked with one of the waitress the food taste like someone mom made it. She stated that there are two mom's in the kitchen cooking right now. The food was very flavorful, fresh and a lot of it ! “After two failed attempts, I eventually acquired the cinnamon square. I swear, when I placed my order using the kiosk machine, it appeared before me in a supernatural manner. I was amazed at how quickly it was ready. It was warm and moist as I bite into it. The texture and temperature were perfect, the icing was silky, and the dough was fluffy, but the flavor was weak, I didn't notice a strong cinnamon aroma.“
“Spectacular hidden treasure in Algonquin that we just chanced upon. Latte was absolutely delicious and their homemade mini donuts were to die for! They also had live music setup. “Really great food - I had the Kung Pao chicken, and my 99-year old Great Aunt has been eating Beef Chop Suey for at least 50 years, so I guess that she's somewhat of an expert taster, lol. “I have been to this location in Elgin. I have been there five or six times in the last week. It gets very busy on Friday nights, Saturday nights. And Sunday afternoons. That's to be expected at Culver's. When I arrived, I was greeted when i walked through the door. I ordered my food, a double sourdough melt with deep fried cheese curds. it was delicious. A few days passed, and I returned to the culver's in Elgin. I ordered a double butter burger. Chili cheese, fries, and a scoop with hot caramel and banana. These were also very good. SweetSpot makes the most INCREDIBLE malt I have ever had anywhere, and not once in 10 years has it been less than amazing! I took a friend a few months ago, telling them that the malts are the best and she was skeptical. Had one sip and said it was "50/10."However, if you aren't into malts, there are many other things to love. “I really enjoyed the ice cream here. You can tell it's made with quality ingredients and was fresher than many of the other places I've tried. When we went, most of the staff spoke Spanish so if you're an English speaker be prepared for a language barrier. They did have one person that spoke English and helped since we weren't familiar with all the flavors. It was really clean which was nice. The elote was a little watery but I still enjoyed the flavor. This is the only place I go for Mexican style ice cream in the area.“
