“$$ I need to preface my review with the fact that we at here at 5pm on a Saturday right during NCAA basketball games. Upon walking in, we noticed it was extremely loud. We had to have staff repeat things due to the fact the room was loud and they weren't. Anyway, we were seated right away and given menus. Decent selection and good specials. It took a little effort to order due to the noise but we managed. Our drinks came out right away and food came out quickly as well. Both my Shrimp Po' Boy and wife's Lobster Roll were prepared well and tasty. This is a new establishment in this location and appears some of the staff are new too given my wife was asked if she was done with a good portion of food on her plate. Another odd thing was it seemed they wanted to turn tables over quick. We were in and out in under an hour. My wife was asked about another drink, however, I was not and no mention if we wanted any dessert. Anyway, the experience was relaxing and we hope to go back when there's warmer weather to take advantage of what appears to be a large outdoor patio near the front of the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and pleasant and the area is downtown Huntley and has a very small town feel to it. Plenty of parking in the area, however if it is really busy, you may need to walk a couple of blocks. The prices are reasonable for food but a few adult beverages could bump up bill a bit.The one suggestion for management is have your staff talk louder when necessary. The wood ceiling probably doesn't help acoustics.Parking: There are a few free public parking lots within a block. The restaurant is surrounded by side streets with free parking as well as residential streets within a block or two if nothing available in immediate vicinity.Wheelchair accessibility: If memory serves, the entrance is ramp accessible but the door is not automatic.“
“Great experience. Great food, nice selection of specials. Tasty soup with fresh bread. Entrees come with fresh cooked veggies. Great personable service. We always have a good experience at Jamison's and it's a also a great value. Check it out!“
“This location was supposed to open up in 2019. And finally opened up maybe about 4 or 5 months. But other than that .Food better than most locations. Mostly cause it is new. Service very good this location is smaller than most. Will be going back ?“
“Just had their pizza for the first time. Its Christmas Eve and I called very last minute hoping to get a pizza before they closed. They absolutley took care of it and dinner was saved! The pizza was fantastic, lots of toppings, loved the sauce, it smelled awesome in the restaurant, everyone was so nice and polite. They even gave me 2 free canoli with my order. Merry Chrstimas to the whole team! I will be back again! Thank you for a great dinner!“
“I work in the area and was looking for a sandwich shop that wasn't a chain (jimmy johns, subway, etc..) so I decided to try this place out a few weeks ago. I've been here several times now to grab lunch and it has been wonderful. Sandwiches are fresh and delicious. Prices are extremely reasonable. The bread they use is incredible. Highly recommend checking this place out.“
“I cannot rate the atmosphere, because we ordered for delivery. We ordered a 16 inch, thin crust pie for dinner. The estimated time was 45-60 minutes, but it arrived in 25. It was hot and delicious, and we will order again.Parking: If it's busy, you are going to have to walk a bit from your car, unless you are just picking up your order. Most people just pull up to the curb for that and run in. I always park, so I am out of the way, and at dinner time I have to park in the lot across from the building.“
“Solid food! Got the sweet and savory chicken sandwich and veggie spud. The bread was perfectly soft. Veggie spud had slightly too many vegetables but nonetheless was fresh and delicious. My brother and dad got the southwest chicken sandwich and highly recommend it.Environment was lovely and service was fast and friendly.“
“If there's one bartender who always knows how to get your drink just right, it's Brittnee. With her warm and welcoming personality, she makes you feel like you're right at home as soon as you step up to the bar. Not only is she a master at crafting the perfect cocktail, but she always brings a smile to your face with her witty banter and infectious laugh. Brittnee is truly one of a kind and has an undeniable gift for making your night out an unforgettable experience.“
“Recently went to the Daddy Daughter Date night they set up. IT WAS ABOVE AND BEYOND AMAZING! I thought it was going to be a nice little reserved set up so we could eat and have some fun but they did what chick-fil-a does and made it INCREDIBLE. They had actual Unicorns, fairies and mascots there and activities for the kids. (they ran it very efficiently as well) As always, the service and the food was great too. Very happy with the night and I will absolutely sign up again.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Papa G Restaurant in Huntley, Illinois, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. Our waitress, Diane, provided top-notch service and her recommendation of the skillet dish was spot on. The skillet was cooked to perfection, with a tantalizing blend of flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. Papa G Restaurant is well-known for their delicious homemade foods and soups, and it's easy to see why. The cozy atmosphere and attentive staff make this local diner a must-visit for anyone craving a memorable dining experience.“
