“This used to have really good food. I ordered one plate that cost $23.00 and it was horrible. Chicken was super dry, no flavor etc. I called and was told they couldn't refund me because i ordered online. Never again. Waste of money. I had to make scrambled eggs instead.“

“Not sure why Google calls this Asian Fusion. It’s a Kyrgyz (Central Asian) place, and the food is very, very good. Atmosphere is adequate, but the food is excellent, and I have spent several months in Uzbekistan before. The plov (rice pilaf) is excellent and reminds me of my time in Central Asia from decades ago.“

“My wife and I started eating at Original Pancake House in Honolulu in 1979 or 1980. The first thing I ordered was the 49er Ooey Gooey Thin and Chewy Pancakes with the Homemade Tropical sauce. (I lost my Beautiful Wife the early morning hours after Christmas 2025, so my son and I are visiting my sister and my brother-in-law in Chicago.)
Today, my taste buds thought they were getting that first ever plate of those Wonderful Pancakes! Three plate sized thin, Ooey and Gooey pancakes to make your mouth desire them every morning!
We also shared the Apple Jack (another OPH specialty).
We have enjoyed the Walker Brothers Original Pancake House when we come back to Chicago and I think this was my best experience yet!

“Jackie and the team are fantastic! Everything here is house made! We had multiple sauces, meats, cornbread, chips and salsa, Mac n cheese and curry - all of which were enjoyed! I came here with multiple family members and clearly need to get back to sample dessert. They have good kids’ meal options plus a little gift area. Very clean and extremely nice service. “GrubHub left me hanging and cancelled my order without any meaningful explanation. Since I was still hungry and wanted dinner, I called the store directly. Boy am I glad I did! The manager took my call and commiserated with me a bit and suggested that I place my order directly with them via their website. Since I am just across the parking lot and can't leave my location (I was running out of time for my lunch), he graciously offered to run my order to me personally. JC showed up a matter of minutes later with my extremely tasty food and a smile!. I love their Lobster Bisque soup and mine was still nice and hot. Bonus... While on the website, I registered for the Cafe Zupas loyalty program and got a Free beverage! And, even though I have a discount on GH from my Amazon Prime account, my bill was nearly $8 cheaper! Overall, my experience today with Cafe Zupas Schaumburg has been stellar and I'll be ordering from them (directly, no more GrubHub) frequently and encouraging my coworkers and clients to do the same. Now where is that chocolate covered strawberry for my dessert. Yummy!“

“Ate here for the first time this weekend. My server has was a girl named Sammie and she was great! Very talkative and attentive. I got the homemade cornbeef hash with some eggs and sour dough bread. Was delicious. I took two pounds of burnt tips to go for a Super Bowl party I was attending that night and they were a huge hit! Everyone loved them. I will totally be back to this place to try so many more things on the menu. Love it.“

“Our reservation was for 5pm and we walked in at 502pm. The food for both my wife and I were absolutely the best Italian food we have ever had. The price was excellent for such great quality. “I ran into the Giordano’s off Lake St and Michigan Ave tonight just to get quarters for parking (unfortunately we had already eaten somewhere else). I gotta say that the staff was SO NICE and so kind about it that next time I’m over that way I will be eating there just because of the interactions I had tonight with a few staff members. As a non-customer tonight they didn’t have to help me out but they did and did it happily and were all super friendly. Even the manager (who was absolutely adorable) helped out by getting out a roll of quarters so that I had enough for the parking machine/box. Thank you all for the help tonight. I really did appreciate it!“

“I normally don’t visit zupas due to a bad experience in this past at a different location but I decided to try it again the other day and this very sweet girl at the front greeted and helped me decide what i wanted, her name was lilly and she made me feel welcome. Not only that but i proceeded to order the turkey bacon avacado sandwich and it was great. Definitely Remedied my last experience.“

“My daughter loves this place. She can still pick her meal from the kids menu and I stick to the never ending salad and soup. I never finish the pasta and always eat a lot of salad before the entree arrives lol I do occasionally treat myself to an entree when I have a craving for pasta. Service has always been exceptional.
Update: We love the neverending pasta promo! My daughter has aged out of the kids menu and loves it when this promo comes along. We love to try an the different kind of combinations! Still a favorite to come to celebrate her birthday!“

“We had such a wonderful experience at California Pizza Kitchen, and a big part of that was because of our amazing server, Angelina!
From the moment we were seated, Angelina was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. She made us feel so comfortable right away, which honestly sets the tone for the entire dining experience. What stood out the most was how fast and efficient she was, yet never rushed us at all. She balanced everything so perfectly.
Since we are vegetarian, we sometimes find it a little challenging to explore menus fully, but Angelina went above and beyond to guide us. Her recommendations were spot on—she really understood what would work for us and made thoughtful suggestions that we absolutely loved. It felt like she truly cared about us enjoying our meal, not just taking an order.
We were also dining with kids, and she handled everything so sweetly and patiently. She was so kind and engaging with them, making sure they were comfortable, happy, and had everything they needed. That extra level of care does not go unnoticed, especially when you’re dining as a family.
Angelina was consistently checking in at just the right moments, making sure our table was clean, drinks were refilled, and everything was perfect—without ever being intrusive. That level of attentiveness is rare and truly appreciated.
Overall, this was one of those dining experiences where you leave not just happy with the food, but genuinely touched by the service. Angelina made our visit memorable, and we will definitely be coming back—hoping to be served by her again!
