“Last time I had sushi was well over 15 years ago. Times change, appetite, and eating habits change so here I am. My wife enjoys sushi and has been here a few times and enjoys their rolls. I do enjoy food in the teriyaki family and I get this fix at a few other restaurants in town. The interior of the restaurant is inviting and it was strange being back in the former Peapod restaurant location. We ordered the crab ragoon, gyoza, chicken teriyaki roll, scorpion roll, Godzilla roll, and the beef teriyaki entree. Both appetizers were good but pretty standard. I tried a few rolls and it's still not for me. I believe the seaweed wrap is what I don't like. The filling is good though. My wife enjoyed every bite of it. The beef teriyaki comes with salad, rice, and miso soup. I don't particularly like miso soup but this one was slightly different in a good way. I enjoyed the simple salad as well. Now when I ordered the beef I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked which is not unusual. When I received the beef it was too blue in my opinion. I'll eat beef anyway outside of raw but typically I like my beef medium. The sauce and vegetables were good and I still ate the beef. For drinks I stuck with water but my wife had a mango smoothie that was quite tasty. The employees were attentive and definitely hustling so I appreciate that. I would go back and get the chicken teriyaki (hopefully it's not pink) and let my wife enjoy the sushi rolls. 4 stars because everyone I know that has come here for the sushi raves about it.“

Real charbroiled hamburger cooked right to achieve that maillard effect, topped with melty yellow cheese, fresh purple onions, tomato and lettuce or try the Chicago style hotdog with that distinctive lime green relish, sport peppers, onions mustard and Portillo seasoning in a poppy seed bun. Whatever you choose to eat at any of their Chicagoland locations, you can't go wrong. Also, the chocolate cake is velvety, moist, but not overly sweet.“

Prices were very reasonable because you do get a ton of food for your meal plus the free miso soup. When you walk in, it’s like an Asian version of Chipotle/Subway/Poke Bros where you choose your ingredients in front of you. You choose the base, protein, toppings, and sauces. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and fast.“

“I've been eating at this restaurant for over 20 years. It's a family restaurant, where the owner knows all his regular customers by name and the new ones he treats like he's known them for years as well. This restaurant has managed to stay in business while many of the others around it have closed. The food is well above your average family restaurant and the prices reflect that. This isn't fine dining as some like to compare it too. The staff works hard and many have worked there for 10-20 years. Customers come in and ask for specific servers due to the service and relationships built over the years. There are LOTS of customers who eat here daily or multiple times weekly!! The restaurant is always clean and has a beautiful banquet hall attached that has events going on almost daily. Many groups and organizations come in monthly and rent out the room. The soups, salads (create your own), pancakes, skirt steak, Athenian Chicken, wings and Chicken Mykonos (Wednesday night only) are some of my favorites.“

“Simply amazing. The strawberry harvest salad is the most refreshing thing I ever tasted with the soft fresh piece of bread and creamy soft butter. The strawberry champagne vinaigrette is amazing. I don't eat salads. Maybe as a side w steak and potato but this is a whole delicious meal of its own. I can eat it alone. The lobster bisque with roasted red peppers is outstanding! The brisket sandwich was 10x better then I could of imagined with all the flavor profiles sweet salty meaty tangy. We got a pesto chicken salad just because it looked unique and it was the best thing we ever tried. Through the whole meal we just kept saying how good every part of it was it was like the best dinner I had in a while. It also felt very healthy and this is my new favorite place to eat around my house two sandwiches, a salad soup you get two slices of bread and two chocolate strawberries and I only paid 25 bucks. “I was looking for an inexpensive lunch special close to my work and Pizanoz came up. Though I'm not a big fan of the spelling of "Pizanoz", I read the reviews and did the research to give it a try. There was a picture in the Yelp listing from over 4 years ago (2019?) stating that a slice of deep dish meat lovers pizza was $4. I thought it was highly unlikely that the prices would be the same, post-pandemic, but to my surprise, they were pretty close! Pizza by the slice is now (03/12/24) $4 deep dish sausage or pepperoni, $4.75 for deep dish meat lovers. What a deal! I got the sausage and with a drink, the total was $5.09 after tax! While I don't know the cost of the thin crust slices, they're surely under $4 and worth a try. Regarding the deep dish or pan style pizza itself, I loved it. The crust was soft and doughy and seasoned lightly. There was a nice layer of thick cheese and the sausage was packed with fennel and was a great with the tangy tomato sauce. I was full after eating 3/4 of the slice. The cashier was patient with me as I weighed the options and was happy to answer my questions on the price and options. There's no dining here, so as far as ambiance, I would say that it feels quaint and personable here, like you're stepping into a family business that has been around for a long time. I'll be back for sure, and after one more positive food experience, I'd be ready to upgrade the rating to 5 stars.“
“Best place in town for drinks, Billards, athomsphere, and good times. They have delicious food, attentive servers and activities. Saturday Karoke is always a fantastic experience, the DJ has all the songs you want to sing and some that you didn't even realize was on Karoke. Monday and Thursday nights are Billards league but they got extra tables for folks that aren't involved. Some Fridays they even have Billards tournaments. If I didn't mention it they also have slots, darts, video games and bowling shuffleboard. Come on through and be amazing how much you enjoy the place.“

I ordered 2 coffees a breakfast sandwich and bagel via Uber Eats of which the driver didn't deliver one of the coffees. I attempted to contact the driver and Uber and outside of a refund there wasn't anything they could do. I called Corner Bakery to see if the driver may have forgotten that part of my order. Their floor manager went above and beyond! They confirmed the full order was picked up and also personally delivered my drink (new)! I wasn't expecting that at all! They didn't have to do that at all especially since I'm a good distance from them and especially since they are not at fault with the Uber eats delivery. All I can say is thank you so much! “One of the most healthy options for food in the entire O'Hare airport. I seek out Farmer's fridge whenever I travel through O'Hare. I appreciate that they have healthy salads to grab & Go. Order is usually accurate but if there is a mistake they are very nice about making it right. In fact they actually comped me on some extra soup when I accidentally ordered a cup instead of a bowl! Also their rewards program pays off regularly so I'm almost always getting a few bucks off the bill or something for free.“
