“It's fun but I personally think the drinks are overpriced and very weak. I don't drink a lot and I had 3 vodka cranberries that tasted like cranberry only & I didn't even get a buzz. Other than that it's a cool place and I'll go back, but next time I'm ordering doubles lol“

“I took my boys here on a Saturday at around 4:30 after a trip to the Volo museum. We were immediately greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable and attentive waitress. The appetizer plate had the best onion rings and these creamy smoky bacon Gouda Mac n cheese bites that were to die for! Pan pizza came out as a deep dish and my teenager loved it. My oldest and I got the rib and broasted chicken combo…. OMG No regrets! The chicken was seasoned well with a delicious, crispy, light breading and the ribs were fall off the bone scrumptious with a perfect smoky/sweet bbq sauce. Do NOT skip the peach cobbler!! The warm, crispy peaches and streusel topping tasted like it was made with love. What a great place and we absolutely love our server. She was engaging and knew the menu. Will definitely return!“

“We just finished celebrating our daughter's college graduation at the Cooper's Hawk in Algonquin. I cannot say enough about the awesome experience we had. Starting with Angelina handling all the details to the planning of the event, to the room being set up just perfect; to Joel and Natalie who were the absolute best servers we could have had; to the delicious food (OMG the salmon) and dessert that was served; and of course, not to mention the wonderful wine tasting bar. All our guests were so impressed! Thank you, Cooper's Hawk, for taking such good care of us. You made our celebration one we will remember.“

“This is a hidden gem.We love this place.The food is terrific.The service as always, is fantastic The bartenders are great. They have a couple of Golf simulators In the back which is really cool. A fireplace in the front, which is nice in the winter. A comfortable and relaxing place to have a couple of drinks or maybe some food or both can't say good enough things. “We needed a place for dinner while driving home from a weekend getaway. We luckily found Bobbers thanks to reviews on Google Maps. Boy were we glad we went! Lake perch fish fry was fantastic as were the grilled shrimp and curly fries. Can’t wait to go back on a nice day and sit outdoors with a beautiful lake view!“

“The food was good. I ordered 2 grilled chicken sandwiches at around 9pm from the drive through. The order took not even 5 minutes and it was so good. You could tell everything was fresh and of high quality. Also, both the drive through window girl and the gentleman that walked out my order to me were nice. Good job Culver's!“

“This place is awesome! My husband ordered the cowboy pork chop from the menu - It was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. It was tender, and it was in a fantastic portion. I had the rack of lamb and it was the most tender lamb I have had in years and deliciously seasoned. It was reasonably priced and they provide provided a full meal - Perfectly cooked potatoes/fries and vegetables. Service was fast and the atmosphere is so relaxing, warm and inviting. We look forward to returning soon!“

“The employees here are always very nice, the food is great, and the inside is very clean. There's plenty of seating. Everytime we go the place usually has families with kids or elderly folks eating.
Once I forgot to order sauce for the cheese curds and the guy (I didn't get his name) gave me some for free!
This is our go-to spot after taking our son to his check-ups. Nothing makes a vaccine feel better than getting custard and cheese curds afterwards. I hope we continue this tradition.“

“My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. I wish I lived a little closer because Culvers in McHenry would definitely be my go to place. Thank you for good food and the kindness you all showed.“

“This restaurant is a hidden gem in the area! If it’s less than 5 stars then its vastly underrated. The fish fry on Friday in Lent was way better than expected, excellent teriyaki salmon dinner and karaoke entertainment by the locals that were extremely talented! (super encouraging also) We’re coming next Friday without fail 7pm“

“We stopped in for a late lunch. Got really lucky and missed the lunch crowd. Our waitress, Michelle, only had 2 tables to help so she was able to provide great service and some great conversation as well. The food is incredible. Overall, an awesome experience. I'll definitely be back. When you go, ask for one of Michelle's tables. She's awesome!“

It’s been a difficult week and my mom had passed away that morning. That was my first meal in about a week. She was so kind to pay for our meals. Thank you so much. “Usually great service and people, but you guys missed the mark tonight. The delivery person outside tried to give me at least 3 different orders that weren’t ours, and when we got home the chicken nuggets were missing the sauce, and the chili was missing the toppings and sour cream. Not a great outing tonight.“
