“Its a great place if you are looking for great tacos that is no nonsense. Place is inside the little Mexican grocery store and has three tables, doesn't look the prettiest but it is a great place. Reminds me of great taco joints in Cd. Juarez. Prices were great too. Food was made fresh because when I got my tacos and they were so hot I couldn't hold them long. Chicken tacos were excellent. Easily coming back here.“

“Had the Steak Burrito. The presentation, size and taste were what I expected. They had the good hot type / red sauce which some other places don't have. However it seemed as if the lettuce and tomato overpowered the steak/ beans & cheese? Not quite sure but something was off with the lettuce ? It did seem to be the typical shredded lettuce I've had in other burrito's?“

“We often get their whole chicken dinners for carryout, delicious, excellent quality chicken with roasted veggies and Spanish rice. We do miss the cornbread and we hope that might come back someday. Hours closer to dinner at least one day a week would also be ideal, say 4 :30 maybe one day a week that when we do get carry out here it is an early dinner.“

“Last week I was on my way to take my son for a haircut and decided to stop and eat here. It was my first time. Service was great and food delicious. I was not having a good day but tried my best to not show it. As I'm eating I saw a man come in. Eat by himself and then left. My surprise when I went to go pay. This man had paid for my food. Who ever it was Thank you so much if this is ever read. That was a beautiful gesture and completely made my day. I got my son his haircut and took him for some ice cream afterwards. “Love the nachos! Super yummy and a fun change up for lunch. The staff unfortunately created an uncomfortable dining experience with a lot of cussing and yelling coming from the kitchen. F’bombs about politics and covering shifts made for an unpleasant atmosphere. The lack of maintaining a professional environment or even a family friendly environment was lost today. Sounds like the staff needs a manager to be present. Take your nachos to go.“

“A Hidden Gem on Plum Grove and Higgins – A Must-Try!

We recently visited this charming restaurant located conveniently on Plum Grove Road and Higgins, with easy access from entrances on both sides of the building (formerly a McDonald’s). It was our first time dining here, and the experience was fantastic from the moment we stepped inside.

The staff greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. When we mentioned it was our first visit, they went out of their way to explain the menu and highlight the house specialties. We started with chips and salsa, and what a treat! They served four varieties of salsa, each made fresh in-house. The flavors were unique and absolutely delicious—some of the best chips and salsa we've had in a while.

For our main dish, we opted for the fajita combo. The staff kindly asked how we preferred the steak, which we appreciated as it showed their attention to detail. When the sizzling fajitas arrived, they didn’t disappoint. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. The chicken was equally amazing—juicy, well-seasoned, and just as satisfying.

The tortillas were kept warm in a tortilla warmer, which was a nice touch and exactly how I like them served. The sides of rice and beans complemented the meal perfectly. The rice was light and flavorful, and the creamy refried beans rounded out the plate.

The location is just three miles from our house, which makes it even more appealing for a quick and satisfying meal. We can’t wait to come back and try more items from the menu. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check this place out—you won’t regret it!“

Everything was fantastic from the moment I called to book the event with Susie to confirming with Jesus to the moment when Jorge and his partner left (sorry, I didn't catch her name). There was so much food, everyone kept complimenting how awesome the food was. I was worried about not having enough food but there was so much with lots of leftovers! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Their equipment was clean. They kept their area where they were cooking and serving organized and clean. When they left, there was no mess. I would, recommend them to anyone looking to have a taquiza at their home!“

“Me and my brother stopped here after a medical appointment and it was EXACTLY what I needed. I bought a chicken burrito, DEVOURED it as my brother slowly ate his carne asada burrito, and I sat and stared longingly at the counter until my brother took pity and gave me $10 to go buy another one, which I then ate half of and saved the other half for dinner. Ridiculously good, wholeheartedly recommend. Truly. It was a nice place too, very friendly, the person running the counter was cheerful and chatted with me while I ordered which was really lovely.“

“Great dinner tonight. Mexican Indian Fusion. The seasoned chips were served hot and Salsas were flavorful. Portions were plentiful and the prices were family friendly. You can choose 3 different street tacos with rice and beans for $15! The staff was very attentive as we were outside dining. And the waiter left us a pitcher of water for the table. It was most appreciated. We definitely will return.“

“It is a really nice place to get some food, I tried the lunch special picking the pastor, chorizo and carnitas tacos, corn tortilla and to be honest I never spect that tasty in the pastor, it was awesome, great salsas with basics spicy (not for high spicy level lovers) but the flavors are so good (chile de árbol and jalapeño sausage are the best), also the plate come with rice and beans (the beans are served over a crunchy corn tortilla and it marks the difference for presentation in my opinion), also I highly recommend order horchata water. The only thing that I have and I think it is because I went too close the opening hours, is that the floor was recently mopped and with the kind of shoes that I was dressing, it was difficult to walk around but I think I was the only one with that issue because I saw a lot of people walking with no issues.“
