“Stumbled upon this "joint" and so happy I did. This was the best gordita I have ever had. They took great care to make sure it was made exactly to my requests, it was fresh and absolutely delicious. You made me a hero to the two others I bought lunch for and they are from Mexico originally. The food was so good, I am afraid they will get so busy that they won't be able to handle it. Such a treasure. Thank you, thank you. I had to wait a couple of extra minutes, but it was so so so worth it!! Thank you for the incredible lunch!!“

Quesadilla was hot fresh and tasted great good cheese to chicken ratio. Salsa was watery so I feel like it didn't pair well with the quesadilla, more like a hot sauce.“

“Last week I was on my way to take my son for a haircut and decided to stop and eat here. It was my first time. Service was great and food delicious. I was not having a good day but tried my best to not show it. As I'm eating I saw a man come in. Eat by himself and then left. My surprise when I went to go pay. This man had paid for my food. Who ever it was Thank you so much if this is ever read. That was a beautiful gesture and completely made my day. I got my son his haircut and took him for some ice cream afterwards. “Really good sit-down alternative to the Mexican places closer in the Rosemont Entertainment District. I had the Enchiladas Verdes and not only were they considerable in size, they came with ample sides of rice and refried beans (the menu doesn't quite mention that they're _gratis_ with full dinners, but they are). Complementary tortilla chips are ample as well. Only real drawback is a lack of non-alcoholic drinks, but beer and cocktails and many and varied. Highly recommended.“

The food is fabulous, the carne asada tacos are delicious but the barbacoa is also excellent, not to mention probably the best carnitas I've ever had outside of Chicago. The barbacoa and carnitas are also available by the pound which is an awesome option. The ambience is very basic, two tables and a few chairs, not pretty but the food is phenomenal and prices are very reasonable.“
