“I've been going to Tapalpa for more than 25 years. The people that work there are nice, the food is good most of the time although I had a tough overcooked steak last week. I'll continue to go there unless things start to go south“
“A good spot for lunch with awesome service and atmosphere. Music is on point even when it is slow. Food is fine. Burger is better than fast food and decent for the price point. Come for a beer and burger, but temper expectations. Good for the demo graphic.Parking: not bad parking but only about a dozen spots. Really good handicap parking though.Kid-friendliness: Good for the family but in a commercial area. A nice little sanctuary for a family trendily meal that dad will love too. Nice for the area“
“My husband was looking for a new restaurant, he had been going to the same place for years and the quality went down hill. He ordered the Giant Burrito . He was so surprised about how much steak was in there instead of mainly rice and beans. He has a very healthy appetite and could barely finish it. OK Burrito is now his restaurant of choice and will definitely be back. The staff was also super nice and friendly“
“I drive by this place very frequently. I saw the less than stellar reviews posted previously and was curious about the food. I went in for dinner tonight and had a steak burrito dinner. They did an excellent job with all of it. I also got a small side of guacamole and added cilantro to the burrito. It was all great and their salsa verde was great and the hot sauce was just great too. Very kind and courteous service along with having it ready quick made for a great dinner. This simple storefront restaurant did a great job. Give them a try!“
“The food was delicious! It is a little pricey, but worth it. The drinks were perfect as well! I had 2 margaritas and they weren't too strong or weak, so they were perfect. My family had ordered a mix of things. From fajitas, fries- which were cooked perfectly and so good that we ordered 3 times, steak, shrimp, and paella. Everything was delicious! The service was great, and my family had a great time here. The only issue I had was that the place was really small. Other than that, it's definitely worth it to give this place a try.“
“This restaurant was pretty good. The drinks were amazing. The margaritas were really good. I really like the different sizes that they offer the pricing for everything was reasonable. My dish was pretty good I had enchiladas. I think my dish should’ve came out a little hotter, but my whole family enjoyed everything guacamole a large was actually a nice Portion than most places give a really small portion that is considered as large. Jamie,, our waitress she was very sweet. She was our waitress and the bartender seemed like they were a little short staffed for a Sunday but they made it work. We enjoyed it, we will definitely go back.Vegetarian options: There are a variety of vegetarian options to choose from“
“I found this gem while looking for tacos near my friend. I am so glad we agreed on this spot. The service is amazing and the decor is so beautiful. I got the taco dinner plate with two steak tacos and a birria taco - the meat was really good and flavorful. I live an hour away from this place, but I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the far north suburbs again.“
