“I am so upset we didn't discover Mia's Cantina sooner! The food here is absolutely top notch. Even my picky as heck kid begs to go there (he's a fan of the steak tacos). For me, the Tacos Norteños are the winner, I've never had anything like it anywhere else. The flavor of the sauce, the fresh meat and toppings, absolutely stellar. Great beans and rice too. The service is always quick and friendly, the man who has taken care of us both times seamlessly runs the bar and waited on us as well. The restaurant is clean and large, would be great for big groups, and my husband plans to bring his work colleagues for a meal there soon! Decorations are bright and fun. We are huge fans, now we are telling everyone to check it out! 5 stars without hesitation.“

“I ordered for a department luncheon at the office and everyone loved it. Taco, rice, beans were all delivered hot and on time. I ordered a couple of flans as well and they were delicious. Will definitely keep them in mind when we have another company event.“
“This place is very nice, the tamales are very delicious, the lady and her children serve very kindly! But there's a tall, bearded man, I think he's the lady's husband, who serves you as if you were going to ask him on credit and he makes you look unfriendly, and even more so if you make a mistake when asking for your order.“
“Today 05/28/2021 was my first time at this restaurant, (my boyfriend and his family have been their many times) but I had the chicken burrito and it was AMAZING chicken was tender the rice was good. My boyfriend had a torta he liked it. Great food..Our waitress was great and friendly.“
“This is by far my favorite authentic order and eat fast Mexican place! The food is all amazing! Try the fish tacos! They have a special sauce that is deliciouso! And the customer service is phenomenal! I'm always greeted with a smile and a cheerful attitude from everyone who helps me! The food prices are excellent and worth very dollar. They don't over price the food and have a bunch of really good combo meals. Also, they have even let me stay late sometimes when I get there a couple minutes before close and are cleaning up! They are truly all around good quality and having a father that was born in mexico and owned 3 Mexican restaurants growing up, I know a fair share about the biz! Highly recommend!“
“Very good authentic Mexican restaurant located north of O'Hare airport. It was walking distance from my airport hotel (Best Western O'Hare North) and was an unexpected pleasant find. Gratis authentic Corn ships with two types of homemade salsa are served as you arrive where I followed that up with a very tasty large Margarita ($11) and a large El Pastor burrito ($11) which was very good in its own right. The facility itself is clean with a nice Mexican decor and the staff is super friendly, with quick service, nice follow up and an ever present smiling face. So nice to see happy faces versus the dour faces I see too often at some of the restaurants I frequent. Overall it was a very good and enjoyable meal where nibbling on well made chips and salsa and washing it down with a excellent Margarita is hard to beat in my book! I definately will be looking this business up the next time I fly out of O'Hare.“
“The place used to be very good and the food, the owner now has a very nice way but there is a lady who works there who almost throws the food on you and walks around with such an ugly face, she is quite pedantic, I really don't know. but that's why I'm not going to eat there “
“Recently visited Mi Restaurante, and it was fantastic! We tried Nachos Mexicanos, steak fajitas, and a steak burrito dinner. Everything was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The place is well-kept, and the staff is friendly. A must-try for tasty Mexican cuisine!“
“I will absolutely be returning to this restaurant. Highly recommend it either for a date night or a fun group outing. Their drinks and margaritas were all delicious and not too sweet. The flight of Mezcal was a great experience. I love mezcal but never had tried different kinds before. The waitress was attentive and nice. The chicken poblano enchiladas were delicious, highly recommend! We also ordered the guacamole trio and ceviche appetizers which isn't pictured because we devoured them pretty quickly.“
