“So far I’ve eaten at Vasco’s twice with my coworker. The food is delicious. It is perfectly spiced, chicken is cooked to perfection and not dry. The garlic sauce is very tasty. It is very clean. The people working there are extremely nice and helpful. My coworker doesn’t know much about Indian food so she had a lot of questions. They were patient and answered all of the. The owner came to our table both times we were there to ask how things were. It is a place that you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We are already planning our next visit.“

So my expectations were pretty high when we found out we had a trip to Chicago. We booked these reservations immediately. Honestly, the pizza was better when I could cook it in my own oven and make it a little more crispy with bubbly golden cheese and crust. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. “Hi View will always hold a special place in my heart. My husband has been taking me here for nearly 10 years, and he has been going since long before that. I’ve never had a dish here I don’t like. My favorite things from here are the soups (specifically the cream of chicken rice and French Onion) and the chopped steak breakfast with chocolate chip pancakes. Their pancakes are the BEST ever and I swear by that.
The servers are extremely kind and always interact with regulars. When I was on a liquid diet prior to and after abdominal surgery, they were kind enough to strain soups for me so I could still have something to enjoy. They take care of you like family and that’s why I’ll always support Hi View.

“I had such a fantastic experience at Ethio Beans! If you love bold flavors, rich traditions, and warm hospitality, you need to check this place out. We started with sambussa, which came with a flavorful dipping sauce (I think it was awaze), and it was delicious! For our main meal, we got two veggie combos with injera, misir wot (spiced lentils), alicha wot (mild stew), gomen (collard greens), and cabbage, plus a side of alicha potatoes with carrots. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and the misir wot was my favorite! We nearly finished the whole platter, but what we took home was just as good the next day. One of the best parts of the experience was the Ethiopian coffee, which they served with burning incense—not only did it smell amazing, but it was also the best coffee I’ve ever had. I also ordered Ambo water, and the owner smiled and said, “Ah, you know!” which made me feel like I really knew what I was doing. 😆 They also have a small shop next door full of Ethiopian spices, groceries, and traditional servingware, which was such a cool surprise! If you’re looking for incredible Ethiopian food and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend Ethio Beans! Can’t wait to go back—next time, I have to decide if I get the coffee again or try the tea! ☕“

“Chicken shawarma is awesome. I did not like the meat shawarma is not something i would recommend at all, they used too many spices including cardamom which you cannot taste the meat. I enjoyed the chicken shawarma a lot. However, i have half of my meat shawarma and after I was feeling not good.
The service is nice and the people are friendly, prices are fine and the restroom is clean. They have a collection of soda and drinks, free parking.
