“Chose to come here because it’s a halfway point between my friend’s and I’s homes, and it was such a pleasant experience! The atmosphere was very nice and calm, the smells were divine, and the service was excellent! We got to chat with the owner for a second and she was absolutely darling! “I absolutely love this place. I get the steak sandwich with tomato onions cheese pickles and mayo. I also add lettuce. The orange sauce is so good with it as well. The bread is that perfect texture that is soft inside and kinda crispy on the outside, they toast it a little. All there food is good, I'm just obsessed with the steak sandwich. I order from Uber eats but in person they have more menu options.“

“Food and drinks are always delicious; Steve recognized me on my fifth visit, introduced himself and provided some complimentary shots to me and my partner. We have ordered Corn Paloma’s, Mole Pisco Sour and Aphrodite multiple times and always hits the spot. For constructive improvement, it can be slow to order as there’s only one person taking orders. Maybe one order only kiosk or one more person could make it more efficient as folks are waiting in line for 10 minutes. I also appreciate the family atmosphere, but there will be times screaming children are right in the middle of where patrons are dining and relaxing. I would recommend a specified area for the kids a bit further away from the main patrons but I understand the constraints of the space (might make more sense to have the kids play area near the food truck). I look forward to continued sunny days and nice drinks at Tribute!“

“Petite Vie was a total "find"! While looking on OpenTable for a dinner spot on Friday, I stumbled across a French restaurant that I didn't know existed. I mentioned it to a few friends and that Sunday we went to Western Springs to check it out. The place is bright, cheery and inviting. We sat at the bar and were waited on by Patrick; bartender, manager, entertainer! The cocktails were creative and awesome, the food (especially the Pork Chasseur) was outstanding and the entire staff was welcoming and helpful. I feel like French food is slowly disappearing from our area, and to find this wonderful place was really fortunate. Please do yourself a favor, book a table and enjoy Petite Vie!“

“Gluten free choices which were great! I enjoyed the mixed berry French toast. There was 3 pcs of French toast topped with fresh fruit, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. Coffee was hot and served in a pitcher at the table. Very cheery place with good vibes. Comfortable. Everyone was pleasant and greeted me.

“After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer. Thank you for keeping that real original old school home town vibe in a Corporate jungle of garbage we are forced to deal with in this world today. Elijah's Specialty Coffee“

“A very unassuming place, that serves the best food at probably the cheapest prices anywhere. The owner and his adorable wife, are both from Albania. She speaks Albanian & Greek and excellent English. The husband stays back in the kitchen creating the excellent food and the wife serves patrons out front. If you're not on a particular diet, and just want some good old-fashioned wholesome diner-type food, this is place.“

“Their waffles and crepes are amazing—each portion is big enough for two people. The only thing I’d complain about is the drinks. The coffee tastes a bit off, and they only serve tea bags. I truly believe that if they improved their beverages, this place could easily become our favorite dessert spot in Chicago. That said, the staff are incredibly helpful. When I mentioned I didn’t like my coffee, they kindly offered me another drink for free and even tried to customize it to my taste. It didn’t quite fix the coffee, but I still left with a smile. “Damn! That Lechón Sandwich hit the spot! Absolutely flavorful, the sandwich is pressed to crispy perfection, the lechón is well seasoned and juicy. The add of acidity from the pickled onion and creaminess of the door drip sauce beautifully ties the sandwich together. Not to mention the yucca fries are crispy and have a fluffy center. One final thing that parcha pina drink they have is so fruity and refreshing perfect for a hot summer day!

“My wife, myself, and 2 young kids have been visiting Level Up Cafe & Lounge since they opened. The owners Shawn and Victoria do a great job. The staff is very friendly, they have delicious refreshing protein shakes, smoothies, food, and adult beverages. We absolutely love the atmosphere and free arcade with purchase. There are always young children there whom our kids are always playing with. It’s a great social, playful, and friendly place to be. We highly recommend Cafe Level Up & Lounge for a fun night out!!“

“This hotel is perfectly located roughly equidistant between O’Hare and Wrigley. Depending on the time and day, you can get a very reasonably-priced Uber ride to either location. It is also within walking distance of several great restaurants. Le Meridian is clean and modern, and in a very safe area. Our room on the second floor was also very clean and modern. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downsides: no free coffee in the morning, a bit noisy at night, and the mattress is so comfortable, it makes me realize how uncomfortable my mattress is at home!“

She was very personable, constantly checked in to make sure we had whatever we needed, and had a great sense of humor!
